You should put snakes and ladder in between the student's closet and every time they hand their homework in or get a good grade on a test they get to move up a space. Then they can get prizes for finishing and as soon as they finish they can start the over. The more times they finish the better the prize. @puttingfortheffort

I don't watch Pocketful of Primary, but if she's concerned someone's using her work without paying she probably should not put it in a vlog. You're not selling yours, but you saw hers and got an idea. That is what we do in life. The amount of data you collect is really impressive. We have to have an awareness of what they know (or don't) to help them.

I like your evidence binder for behavior/parent communication...too bad I teach high school and have 150 kids. otherwise I would probably do the same :) loving your videos!
thats exactly what i dealt with the past two years. never THAT many! but i just ended up creating tabs for kids as i received notes and contacts!
When you begin your multiplication unit you can use your circles for an array. Use yarn or string to section it off for different arrays.

Have you thought about having your students put the chrome books in their desks when they aren’t using them? That seems a little safer.
Aphra Bolyer schools usually have a locked cabinet that they are stored in when they aren’t in use 😊
no i havent thought about that! i would just worry about pencils drawing on them by accident. they will be safe in the bottom drawer with proper expectations((:

I hope and pray for you that you do not get any destructive students this school year but at least I feel somewhat relieved that you are more prepared in the event that such a thing should happen again this year . I am glad that you did away with the popcorn seating this year and I hope that the cubbies you have are more sturdy this year than last year as well . I love how your classroom is coming along and by the way ….. I like your hair and your smile . :)

I don't understand the copyright thing, just cause someone sells something that is the same thing like the table thing even if they have the same exact thing g, she doesn't own the right to all that stuff? I guess I'm just confused. Like if I didn't have the money to pay for something she designed, so I made it myself it's copyright?

PuttingFourthEffort yes and how does she know that didn't teacher didn't make it first, and just didn't put it up knowing people would want it. I don't know I have a lot of questions about that, so it doesn't make sense to me! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that!

Juneflower13 it’s just a special activity that helps reinforce something the children are learning. For example, for spelling, one center activity could be a student using stamps to spell out all of the words on their spelling list.
its rotations or stations. during students independent work time i have them do four different things for fifteen minutes each instead of one thing for a long period of time!
it gives the kids many different ways to practice one skill!
hey not being nosey or anything but I seen your cellphone in the video my sister which is a first time sister this year wants to know where you keep your cell phone when they are students around.
lol do you mean a first time teacher?! i was like what is he talking about. i honestly have had it out with me at all times last year because i used the time, timer, and sometimes class dojo. but i have an ipad for all of that. so i think i am going to keep it up this year in my personal cabinet!
