Great shots 🙂 And JMPO, but I do believe this is the best possible combo you could use for them, regardless of cost. Big whites are what they “used to need” 🙂 In the US, we have either a very closely related bird, or the same exact bird, with a different name…. Golden Crowned Kinglet (and Ruby Crowned) I’ve shot them a bunch with my R7 + 800 F11. Still trying to get ahold of a 200-800. I did rent it, and it was a fantastic lens 🙂
This is why I shoot with my 70-200+1.4 with the R7. So I don't get the ''Bird in a Box'' photos anymore. It's a curse using anything longer than 600m, you just want to zoom more and more.^^

No they are different birds, though no doubt very closely related
