Coming from someone who has been attending VGM festivals for over 10 years, it's nice to see some variety. There are a handful of tunes that get a lot of attention from VGM bands, and you hit a few of them, but you also showed a few that I've never seen done.
You have no idea how happy i am to finally have found someone else who plays on the Aerophone for more than just a review! Also love these styles of vids :)
Yoooo that Lucky Star arrangement for Katamari Damacy is legitimately BRILLIANT! That is such a fantastic, jazzy/poppy soundtrack that is just perfect for your style! Absolutely loved it!
I loved this so much. It was half an hour of uninterrupted smiling. This made my night. You say you don't know what the point is of vlogging your gigs, but it really is worth the trouble. In a couple years you'll be able to look back and realize how much you've grown, while entertaining the general RUclips public _and_ showing new horn players what they can achieve with hard work. Summarizing: awesome channel, amazing talent, and great people.
Thank you so much!! I’ve really been struggling thinking about making a second channel or worrying that I post too much variety, but it’s all stuff I love😭 I appreciate you watching🥺🙏🏻
This was awesome to watch. Thanks for putting it together, must have taken forever. Brilliant editing, and even more brilliant arrangements and performance.
Thank you so much!! What songs would you want to hear? I have a running list of songs I want to arrange so I’ll add some to the list🙈 I try to have a wide variety!
@@FoolishFrankie idk I didn’t even recognize several of the games there. You played a song from Pokémon and I got all excited but didn’t recognize that one either 🤣. Prolly just me though. I’m lookin for the classics like the OG Pokémon (got about 10-20 songs from them), Zelda, OG Mario (10+ tunes from there), Final Fantasy but It’s all good dude I love the vids either way I’m not tryna be a hater.
Great video! Side note, I just had to put down my female pitbull recently. Who had a very similar disposition. Crushed me. Great to see! Amazing animals!
Please come to Cleveland! There is a venue in a suburb not far (Brunswick) called sweets and geeks its a video-game themed bar. My dad played there with his buddies recently I couldn’t think of a better venue. I would definitely come out with a group of my friends who love this stuff. I dont know their rate and I dont know if that would be worth it for you but one could dream
I love the tunes man! I was wondering what you typically use for your wind synth? Is it an amp or do you hook up to the venues sound system? (I just got an EWI and was curious)
@@FoolishFrankie ive only been playing for like 6/7 months but all ur content is making me consider dipping my toes into gigs once i get good enough which is still miles off 😂
Hi sorry, I am commenting about an older video but I thought I'd write it here in case you check recent videos more often. First off, you're awesome! Love the relaxed demeanor and encouragement for other musicians. You're way talented. I just watched your video "Gig vlog #25 (full video)." I've been working hard at ear training but I'm running into setbacks. Many apps take chords and ear training out of the context of any key, while many youtube channels and podcasts have limited ear training material that includes progressions and melodic identification so I find myself scrambling to find new material every time I exhaust one set. What do you use to ear train? I'd like to just be able to listen to tunes on Spotify and find the chord progressions elsewhere to check myself, but I often find that online sources get chord progressions wrong and I don't want to get trained into thinking a progression or chord is something it is not. Any suggestions you have would be marvelous! Keep up the good work.
Hey! Thanks so much for the kind words. Honestly, I’ve run into the same problem where chords and melodies that I find online aren’t right. I used to use an app called Tenuto that I think had some sort of chord identification quiz that would play a progression and you’d have to guess what it is then it would tell you if it’s right or wrong. I don’t know if that app still exists or if it’s what you’re looking for but it could be worth checking out. Thanks so much for watching!🙏🏻
Hey don’t know if you would have the answer to this but do you know where Adam got his EVI i am very interested in getting one, also it looks wireless does he have it hooked up to a computer or an phone app or straight to an amp
What kind of wind synth is the trumpet player using?? I'm familiar with trumpet fingerings (trombone player), and would be interested in something like that instead of learning an entire new fingering system for an aerophone.
For people wondering what that first tune they are rehearsing is, it’s the moon theme from duck tales. So good!
Yes!! Thanks so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻

That being said - nothing wrong with the classics - there is a reason they get so much attention.

Very cool editing going back and forth between the rehearsal and the performance. Nice work!
Thank you so much!
Wow your editing jumps between the rehearsals and actual show are very meticulous and dedicated - nice one!
Thank you very much!
More of these vlogs!! It's pretty cool to see a day in the life of a musician.

Those wind synths are amazeballs. Great vid, and that is a sick rehearsal space...
Thank you!!🙏🏻
So glad you guys played the intro to Ducktales in the true 15/16 instead of rounding it over to 4 like some bad covers do!
Thank you!!
This was so fun to watch! I love the gig vlogs!
Thank youuu🥺🙏🏻
A band called "Bit Brigade" is coming near me, and they play the games through, while the band plays the music. It looks really fun!
