    The joy of life. I first heard these types of bagpipes with fiddle and squeezebox in 1978 on a trip to a festival in Belgium. From that experience Jon Swayne and I formed Blowzabella.

      Ben oui c’était y’a 7 ans donc forcément ils avaient pas de masque hahaha !! Bref de toutes façon, même avec des masques ils auraient été quand même géniaux.

      +Nathalie Le Gaouyat Exactement ce que je me suis demandé. Et c'est bien pour cette raison que j'ai horreur des clips, de manière générale. Il manque toujours un instrument, un musicien du disque qui ne pouvait pas être présent, etc.... La musique reste excellente.

    Hellebore est un morceau d'une essence très puissante et imposante, je trouve que Too late to Sleep est en désaccord musical complet même s'il est très beau en tant que tel.
    Je serais très heureux de découvrir un jour une version allongée de Hellebore !

    Lekkere snelle scottish, gespeeld in een industriële omgeving. Respect voor het volgende broertje Dhoore, voor de mooie opnames. Het is leuk te zien dat alle balfolk groepen zo leuk met elkaar omgaan, en van elkaars diensten gebruik maken. De muziek is wederom fenomenaal!

      @@marvinthemaniac7698 It's one of the 3 official languages of the country with French and German (few speakers). It is spoken in the north side of the country (Flanders) and is basically the same as Dutch, spoken in the Netherlands.

      Both tunes are Toon's (the piper's) composition. But I got the galician feeling too.

      It's called "Moezelzak", 'flemish' say, lowlands bagpipe. Herman De WIt is best known for building them. Blowzabella (UK) used to play them too.

      And to be complete, look at the paintings of Pieter Breughel the elder, you will see the 'moezelzakken', with 2 bourdons (drones) as they are still made today. To be honest my guess is that modern bagpipe builders got their inspiration in these paintings during the folk revival of the 70's.

      It s french bagpipe from the middle of the France. Inspirated from little bagpipe called « 16 pouces ». It s not flemish. It s a « 20 pouces » in D
