    Nice video. To be honest, since 2008 they make news intro outstanding. As usual, news intro from Caucasian region definitely underrated, despite it's stock. I'm curious, what channel Armenia 2 is?

    Between 2008 and 2013, this melody remind me of Vremya from Channel 1 Russia.

    • @igorsiuda8108
      @igorsiuda8108 Год назад +4

      It's the parody of famous "Vremya, vpered". This was made for a support of Georgia in Georgian War of 2008, which was shortlived war won by Russia, making the self-independent nations of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. During that war, Lech Kaczyński, at the time President of Poland, said a famous quotation: "And we know excellently that today is Georgia, tomorrow Ukraine, after tomorrow Baltic States and later, maybe, there will be a time for my country, Poland".

      @@cfsk-tv and let me tell you something. I saw an old B92 ident from 2000 and it featured the JRT TV Dnevnik intro from 1958, but the words JRT were replaced by B-92 and I can't find it anymore.

    4:36 i don't know this is the very first time Armenia 1 Lurer is the first news in 16:9

    • @igorsiuda8108

      Caucasian television didn't went 16:9 until 2016/7. This was brought over from Turkey and Russia. Compare it with Poland, which got it in 2007 (launch year of TVN HD, TVP HD and Polsat HD were joined slightly later, in 2008/09), but full-scale 16:9 wasn't launched until 2012 (when Polsat ended broadcast of 4:3 episode repetitions of "Świat według Kiepskich" ("A world according to Kiepski family", a polish TV series based on "Married with... children")).

      @@igorsiuda8108 In the UK as early as 2001, and in Belgium a year later, a wide format appeared. And Russia made a similar attempt in 2006, but a full-fledged process began only in the 10s. Somewhere in 2007, and somewhere in 2008, and somewhere in 2009. Rarity after 2019. More recently, it was in Belarus, where the transition to a broad format began only in 2016, although their neighbors (Poland in the west and Russia in the east) were already ending or are slowly coming to an end, which was also the case in the Caucasus. However, those TV channels that broadcast archival programs released before the 00s do not need this.
