Terrence McKenna used to speak about how weird it was that he could go around the country and speak about psychedelics and he had never experienced any negative consequences from doing so, despite society’s hyper vigilance during that time period.
12:40 this is really interesting actually. Here in the Netherlands you can give 2 blotter tabs to a drug test facility and they will give you the results of how much µg it exactly holds. All anonymously. I think this is a really smart way of approximating on how much of the drug is actually in circulation.
Purity and dosage testing should be the norm. Erowid for example is allowed to test for substances but not allowed to give dosage due to laws. We need to legalize everything and instead focus on harm reduction and education.
At some festivals in the UK an org called the loop will test your drugs for you anonymously for free too, things are moving in the right direction slowly
so when musk was on joe rogan he seemed pretty innocent about drugs when he was presented with grass- are there any suggestions otherwise that he's into it?
As a paranoid-schizophrenic, I feel bad for Hamilton’s friend, I’ve been using psilocybin mushrooms to help with some of my symptoms, but everyone should be careful, use substances responsibly and respectfully.
Me too, I'm not schizophrenic or anything as far as I know (I guess it could still pop up in a year or two given a small family history), but I've used psilocybin to gain life changing insight on my high functioning autism. I know a lot of people who take psychedelics hoping for similar insight on various mental illnesses. It's a tricky issue though. Psychedelics can be the best thing for a person or the worst thing for a person, and there's no real way to know until they take it. There have been times when a friend heard about how great psychedelics have been for me and decided that this must also be the answer to their problems and the next time I talk to them it's obvious that they're in a worse state than before they tripped. I'd feel like a hypocrite if I faulted them for tripping though, because it's the same reason I trip. The lesson that we should all take to heart is that all drugs are a gamble with fate to some degree.

this was great boys, hope part two happens soon!
Dude, I think I could talk with Hamilton Morris for hours... Maybe one day
*Holy shit this is the combo I never thought I’d ever see happen but am so happy to see! Thank you*
*45 min into the podcast*
Eric: "Man, like, where to begin??"
Awesome video man! I'd love to see another one of these with Eric!
"They make people so afraid they don't exercise their freedoms"
Exactly, fear is the best way to control people unfortunately
i gotta go with Foucault and say surveillance is the most efficient form of control since it forces self-regulation
When eric said “I don’t need strength, I want quality”
When what? Finish your sentence
You know what the guy's gonna say, "I felt that"
@@djackson1441 "I wanted a shoutout to Christina Applegate and investigate 311."
Uh ok?
@@jamesgannon4514 these youtube memes are terrible
I felt that
So you have chosen death
Low key fire
Am I a joke to you
Hits different
I love how Eric is asking the questions I would also wanna ask him.
Just finding this now. Hilarious and intriguing conversation. So glad to see these two together. Straight up awesome.
I hope there is more podcast like these in 2021 w both of you guys + maybe some other people
12:40 this is really interesting actually. Here in the Netherlands you can give 2 blotter tabs to a drug test facility and they will give you the results of how much µg it exactly holds. All anonymously. I think this is a really smart way of approximating on how much of the drug is actually in circulation.
A necessity for molly now buy mdma in bulk and get it tested
Purity and dosage testing should be the norm. Erowid for example is allowed to test for substances but not allowed to give dosage due to laws. We need to legalize everything and instead focus on harm reduction and education.
you can do this in vancouver and at a couple canadian music festivals too
unfortunately, a sheet of blotters can have wildly varying spots, so this might not be a very accurate method. better than nothing, though... cheers.
At some festivals in the UK an org called the loop will test your drugs for you anonymously for free too, things are moving in the right direction slowly
my 2 favorite humans ever and who id never in a million years expect to interact/collab. legendary
One of the best pod cast that was so so interesting and fucking funny at the same time! Love Hamilton and now love Eric even more from this!
More of this guys, really enjoy you being in conversation!
He’s talking about grimes
You're probably right on the money
That’s what I thought, Elon has the best chemist and neurosurgeons working on neura link, I’m guessing they can whip a quick bash for the boss.
Elon on acid trips balls and visuals some breakthrough game changer in free energy
Dude I didn’t see your comment but just said the same thing!
so when musk was on joe rogan he seemed pretty innocent about drugs when he was presented with grass- are there any suggestions otherwise that he's into it?
Be careful and best of luck in your research
💥good luck yes be careful please with drugs

@@umchinagirard1800 what do you mean ?
I really enjoy how open and freely and communicatively they are both talking about psychedelics and the areas of growth
really neat
Brother, what a good dynamic. Had me feeling relaxed and smiling before they even started talking.
