I haven’t gotten any rose from this at all, it’s all grapefruit, bergamot , lots of woody smells and vanilla, in the end I love it and it’s actually quickly become my favourite
Thanks for reviewing Art of Wood, I appreciate your insight. I really enjoy this fragrance and I don't get a lot of rose. I get the opening of the bergamot, then a beautiful cedar wood with the perfect amount of vanilla. It went on light but projects better with body heat. A couple of sprays on each forearm work best for me.
I would do the opposite. Compared them both and have Art of Wood in my collection. It lasts a very long time and projects well, definitely stands out from the other Lattafa releases in a good way. Liquid Brun on the other hand is in my opinion boring and doesn't last long as the others say.
Thanks a bunch for point out the big difference with the rose, my assumptions were its that in the opening they were closer and in the drydown the vanilla takes over. Looks like i'll be picking up the original since i burned through a 10ml decant in less than a month 😂

I did a side by side with this at perseus. Art of wood out performed perseus, it basically smells like perseus with added vanilla. Rose note isn't that prominent as well. One of the rare moments I completely disagree with PC. Maybe he's sick 🤷♂️

I didn't like this one. I bought it after seeing aromatix glazing it, and it turned out to smell like expired milk mixed with sour lemon.
