I think she is a capable, smart defender. At Iowa they couldn’t risk foul trouble so she was often a coke machine on that end. I think she will perform better defensively in the Dub.
If she scores like she did in college, I can see Indiana not even pushing her to defend. Look at Steph. He is a mediocre defender but GS doesnt even sweat it.

This woman is something else. Most people don't even watch wnba let alone a freaking pre-season game. This is WNBA's best chance of actually earning a revenue and I hope they don't fumble the bag here. It’ll be even easier for her, college games I’ve tuned in seem to be very gritty and physical, I’m assuming wnba has a more strict game where fouls will be called consecutively.
Figuring that it’s only a pre season game that doesn’t count they are using the game to try out to figure out who to keep and who to let go which is why they didn’t have Clark playing the whole game and even so they only lost by 3 points. So I don’t understand why people are saying oh she lost. Before everyone was saying no way she will still be able to make the same numbers as she did in college and yet tonight she did with 21 points…her assists would have been higher if only her team mates would have caught the ball…they are going to need more then 2 weeks to gel and get chemistry people. Once that happens they will be dominating the pick and roll for sure. She was still be to make her shots even while being guarded at times by two people or make an assist. The problem really is that tonight the coach needed to find out who the weak teammates were so they weren’t really playing to win if they were then they would have had Clark and Boston in more along with a Nalyssa, Hull…they need to also as a team work on their 3 point shots so that it’s not just Clark making that shot for them all the time and it being also having to go to the basket to make points which makes it so teams will automatically know how to play against you…that’s why CC old team was so dominant because her teammates even though average players the majority of them could still hit the 3 and made it so that it wasn’t just Clark making points for them.
The ‘bigs’ for the Fever need to do much better boxing out…and, the number of missed shots inside the paint by Boston was a total surprise. She needs to work her position inside like a Kevin McHale from the Celtics many years ago. One more preseason game to iron out the shortfalls. All said, the game with Dallas was entertaining.
I wonder what her nails are like--as far as length. One thign I have noticed is that in the WNBA, they take much longer--even a whole second is a lot--than the NBA players to put the ball up under the rim. They shoot it on layups the way we schoolyard players used to do it as kids. If they played against the men, they would never make a single shot in the post. Not ONE.

I wonder what her nails are like--as far as length. One thign I have noticed is that in the WNBA, they take much longer--even a whole second is a lot--than the NBA players to put the ball up under the rim. They shoot it on layups the way we schoolyard players used to do it as kids. If they played against the men, they would never make a single shot in the post. Not ONE.
She can do all the things she could in college. Just gotta get that pro body together so she can sustain it.
