ive done the foam/printed combo. did a cut n shut job on a set of tires, inserts had a little more air gap than i wanted which caused a little hop. took the tuning ring from a set of crawler innovation foams to fill the gap as it was pretty minor air gap. works great and no more hop 👍
Black Diamond scalers hybrid two stage printed foams have been out a couple months, little different take on mixing 3D printed inserts and stock foams.
Has anybody asked by your left thumb nail is painted ? And come on John you need a magnet mat or bowl the free rolling screws is driving me crazy with the thought of how many screws you loose with each take 😅😂😅😂
I have true 3d printed duel stage inserts in my cars ! Inner ring 95/0.4 or 0.3 nozzle . Outer ring 87A 0.4or 0.3 nozzle ! Never use rubbish foam ever again 👌
I just tried that lol. Didn't have an outer foam the right size to fill the air gap in my trenchers. Ended up ordering a different set of printed foams, hoping these fit right.
I’ve had this same exact idea in my mind for a while now. I do not like 3d printed foams themselves. So I am waiting on some 3d inserts to come in to try this. I’ll only be using the inner.
3D inserts are vastly better than any single or dual stage foam. Some 3D ones are made using the wrong materials, that's too plasticy/hard, that will not work well. The best ones I've found is sl3d squid inserts. Run them in all my trucks
Would've loved to see you bring that ESC back to working condition or I'll bore you with the MCU I'm having made rofl. I do have what looks like 100+ PhD, Engineers, Scientists, Chairman and directors going nuts all mainly due to a simple question. The question was about 32-bit and the 2037 (from a magazine) or 2038 (from more research I did) event and I wanted a 64-bit MCU made. After that all hell broke loose. I will make a video explaining the detail of this 64-bit MCU, but I will not be making it since it is too much. Picture this, the 12" wafer they used to make a few die, only one good die came out and the people involved in this are too excited. Imagine me a dumb ape making intelligent people excited. Now they assured me the 2037 or 2038 event might not be too serious because what we found out the date was changed to 2100, 2400 or 30,000+ which by that time 32-bit might be obsolete and we would not be here to see it rofl. Got to love technology.
"Take it in and take it out. Perfect for John Holmes lube shop." OMG!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many possible jokes for those of us Gen Xers that remember a different John Holmes. lmmfao SAE/Imperial threads are WAYYYYYYY better than the metric crap threads; I miss when everything was SAE. 😢 Associated hasn't used SAE since like 2000... lol
Water wheel?! Amateur! Great Grandpa came up with an "Illudium PU-36 ESM" round about 1919 and that powered just about everything in his and great grandma's home. Of course, there were rumours that it was alien technology (Great Grandpa claimed to have been abducted by aliens in his early 20's) but no one knows for sure! 🤪
Great video all around. Charging the black and deckers back in the day was always an arduous task 😂
modern advancements makes it much easier today
Some people would find it entertaining to trot that water wheel for a charge…😏
Don't stop being weird that's half the fun i'm watching your videos.
deal.
I think John's been sniffing the threadlock again... 🤪
I am glad i am not the only one asking that question about vanquish wheels. Lol
Your a mad scientist mixing foam and anti-foam like its nothing. Gonna create a black hole or something.
Definitely not the Anti-foam brand by 3B, but yes, it's much better with those. Great to see you using them.
Those antifoames are directional. I believe.

SAE to the moon!
Only came here to say that injoras silicone inserts are insanely good, much better than a 3d printed foam and climate doesn't seem to affect them.
Also super heavy.
The Black and Decker (All Black Edition) Skill Twist was released post WW2.
I mark my tires with a silver sharpie. Really helps so u don’t go thru this. Some 3d inserts are directional too so….really helps
Not having all of the screws in place would really screw with me lol

hello i use the same wheels on a fordyce . i am using 475 hubs for a very nice fit . best wheel out there .
Has anybody asked by your left thumb nail is painted ?

Usually, it's an under cover tell...that secret society stuff...quite you'll blow his cover..
U don’t have daughters do u?
@user-ho5vm9rv1e no but I have neices I didn't relise john had younger kids what Lil I remember hearing of them they were older I think?
I'm confused!
Are you trying to put nail polish on ..... or are you trying to take it off?
I usually use smaller hubs for my rear that's how I tell the difference
Did you also vent the tires? i punch 2 (1/4") holes opposite sides of eachother with 3d insert foams. works so much better.
not yet, I plan to
That green thumb nail is freaking me out Man..lol..

Keep being weird. I find it entertaining, you always remember the weird ones.
Will you share the 3d files? Maybe? Please
I’ve had this same exact idea in my mind for a while now. I do not like 3d printed foams themselves. So I am waiting on some 3d inserts to come in to try this. I’ll only be using the inner.
But I do know someone who has tried this and someone who already runs the set up.
Have you seen the Injora silicone inserts?

This works well if you never touch water but when I tried the foams got wet and ended up ripping and clumping up in the tire 🥺😔
Are you implying that you don’t do crawler racing?
Oh hell. 😂😂😂
Is anybody having issues trying to create account somehow can't get it to work????
Undercarriage inspection and lube services available by request.
