I made this trip 3 years ago and let me tell you the blue eye was FREEZING. But after a long day of hiking and taking in the sights it does feel good afterwords. Food was incredible too!
Hi guys, you're not to far from Nivica kanyon another gem in southern Albania and close to the only wild river in Europe - Vjosa. You can do rafting there which is a great experience.
WOW..Amazing vlog lady..!! Beautiful views everywhere. I new you couldn't resist jumping into the pond..(as you did in jardin..* i wonder which one was colder * I thought your friend was going to have a heart attack !)water is your element no doubt. Congrats..!
Wow good to see they build a platform for jumping. When I was there like a year ago it was a very slippery iron bar that allows you to get into position, not really the safest way. That video is still on my channel somewhere as well. But great to see they improved it!
They built the platform and they asphalted the whole street, with dedicated lanes for bikes and pedestrians. I think the government promised to put a tiny train just to get people over there ( who can't walk or don't want to). Hopefully they will fulfill these promises🤞
@@liljanasufaj4130 I saw indeed when I was there some machines and stuff getting ready to start working but great they put it into practice so quickly and the dirt road is now gone.
Argirokastro (Gjirokaster) was a mostly greek city until albanian communist dictator banned greek language in Albania and expelled the greek community from Albania. Now it's mosty an albanian town...
@Edi Fing-ja Mosques were built apparently by the ottomans - there were/are mosques in many greek cities too because of the ottoman occupation. Argirokastro is a greek toponym, it always been home of a large greek population, just like in a large part of southern Albania.
Gjirokastër was never Greek!!!! Where did you hear this?! Gjirokastër every time was Albanian! There are only some Greek minorities in some villages around, but all South Albania is 98% Albanian and around 2% are Greek people. Greek Mega Idea it's only a chauvinistic idea.
These Albania vlogs are so fun! Albania looks like a great place to travel to. I really like the earrings you got! 😍

Just any bus that goes to Sarande, they all pass through ☺️
What is the name of this hostel please?
How long are you in Albania altogether? I would like to do your itinerary.
I spent about 2 weeks in total 😊
I think the Blue Eye was becoming hoter with both you girls inside it!
Do you have a solid skin care routine as you travel and obviously attract a ton of sun?
SPF 50 everyday!!
@@BackpackingBananas Granted! No toner, exfoliation etc?
