Cedric literally has everything to make himself a star. Charisma, power, speed, reactions/timing, volume, extreme durability. His only downfall is that sometimes he doesn’t take the fight seriously in preparation.

He doesn't have any wrestling credentials either. Can't be a star if you can't stop a takedown. Making his UFC debut September 3rd.
Love how he puts himself in the firing line to deliver his shots. He's not afraid to get hit in order to put his opponents away.
I was thinking the exact same thing, he’s not afraid to trade because he knows when he lands it’s lights out. 💯
That luck doesn’t last forever though. But he’s tactically efficient so he probably only does that when he knows his shot will hit harder than he will get hit. The reads fighters make on the fly is astounding. Cedric is a beast.
Also after watching the full highlight he doesn’t exactly stay on the center line. Notice how he moves his head left and right. Head goes left when he fires the right hand and right when he fires the left. He’s smart in the pocket. Sometimes he gets caught but it seems to be with panic shots that aren’t thrown to stop more so to get him off the opponent. Cedric is a destroyer man.
@@Diebold410 it’s so strange as well, because at the beginning the fought like a technical point fighter, and you clearly see him just go fuck it, and start knocking everyone into another dimension with the cross counter
Weasle brought me here. This dude is a beast, I'm excited to see what he can showcase at lightweight or welterweight in the UFC.
Two tough divisions for a striker. Hopefully he can make it far though. If leon wins the belt that'd be a good fight
Lightweight is more promising for Cedric. Welterweight is full of grapplers. Lightweight has strikers like Justin, Dustin, and Chandler. Even Charles makes the conversation now. I think doumbe could make it far if he chooses to drop a division.

@KOTID Not so sure about that since Boxing would just be without kicks.He is a puncher so that might translate well into Boxing.Also he would earn way more in Boxing and have less risk to be ko'd.If you look at the current best mma fighters in the world most of them have a strong wrestling base which would put him at a big disadvantage

He's not getting tagged and his hooks are working he's pouring them on as needed. I think you see his flurries to finish and assume that's de rigeur. Overeem in K1 was sloppy, taking shots to deliver shots, Doumbe is pretty nuanced. Especially in his fights with Nieky Holzken.
