Doumbe ran a clinic, putting the shit talking Murthel in his place and called out the second round KO like a boss. Not that he even needed the KO he was winning that round heavily already.

The problem is the welterweight in the UFC is historically home to the best wrestlers. Matt Hughes, GSP, Ben Askren, Colby Covington, Jake Shields, etc. Even now, Covington, Usman, Maia, and Burns. Can Doumbe make 155 lbs?
What I love about kickboxing vs any other combat sport is these mofos will fight each other 6-7 times and more. In boxing and MMA it's best of 3 and that's it, game over
Gotta suck to be Groenhart in this situation. Not only did he eliminate himself from the Royal Rumble but he then got KO’ed by Doumbe. However for Doumbe this was a great way to leave kickboxing on a high note.

What a fight. Such a pace and output. They came to fight. So much so one guy goes over the ropes throwing a flying knee. I laughed at that part but then they said it might have been serious.
I’ll admit it: I wasn’t a fan of Doumbe at first. I don’t really care for fighters who showboat, plus he beat Nieky Holzken (who I’m a huge fan of). But goddamn if he isn’t a great fighter. Definitely got me hooked now 😊
