Samskar International School celebrated Dussehra with great religious fervor and enthusiasm. The festivities began with the Principal, the Academic Coordinator, and all the Educators lighting the ceremonial lamp at the school temple, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
In his address, the Principal highlighted the significance of Vijaya Dashami, emphasizing that it symbolizes the victory of good over evil. He encouraged the students to overcome negativity within themselves and let the power of knowledge and righteousness prevail. His motivational words inspired everyone to strive for personal and academic excellence.
The Telugu Educator, P. Mahalakshmi, captivated the audience with an enlightening narration of the story behind Dussehra. Her storytelling brought the essence of the festival to life, helping students understand the cultural and historical importance of the celebrations.
Students actively participated by sharing their thoughts on the significance of Dussehra and singing melodious Durga Bhajans, which added a spiritual ambiance to the event. The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant cultural program where students performed a dance depicting the power and grace of Durga Mata. Their performance was a visual treat and received much applause from the audience.
The celebrations concluded with a lively dandiya dance, where Educators, Students, and Parents joined in, dancing to the rhythmic beats and enjoying the festive spirit. The event fostered a sense of community and joy, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
