If only it could take like 12 missiles, could aim higher with the guns, and had higher speed.
It actualy would be a competent vehicle.

I would love to see more boats in gta 5, I want naval battles to be just as exciting as dogfighting, but even if they do add more weaponized boats, people won't get on the oppressor mk2 or any other futuristic vehicle to join a naval battle.

It's cool we finally got a weaponized boat, excluding the yacht or the sub( if you call the yacht defences weaponized), hopefully they add another that has decent armor and missiles of some sort.

The Kurtz 31 is a named after Colonel Kurtz, a character played by Marlon Brando in the 1979 movie Apocalypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola.
Dude I dont know about you guys but this guy is my favorite i love the enthusiasm in his voice.
My friend when talking about mounted guns or cannons, what your refer to as aiming angles. It is better mentioned at elevation and depression. Elevation = how high the gun can aim. Depression = how low a gun can aim. Just thought I would mention it. Keep up the good work.
It's known from "Apocalypse Now!". That's also why it is called the Kurtz (name of the colonel in the jungle). Isn't that why Clarkson got one?

Just like everything else in the game, the oppressor mk2 makes it useless
The honing launcher makes this useless
If they just made mk2 missiles really weak or just not able to lock on the players it would be balanced

The sub fucks up the mk2. And bomber planes/helicopters fuck up subs. Everything has a weakness

They should honestly add the ability to buy naval hangars or harbors to house the boats and do naval source and sell missions, would be badass. Maybe even a doomsday type heist where u assault an aircraft carrier or sum

Another thing about this boat that you didn't mention (or probably didn't notice) is that if you lean forward, the propellers are raised above the water and the boat can't accelerate.

This boat reminds me a lot of that one mission from COD Black Ops 1. Using this boat along with the Valkyrie would make a very well Vietnam War movie.
I’ll keep on saying this: boats deserve more love in gta. Both from players and the creators.

I really wanted the attack boat to be useful it would have been awesome if it was fast and the weapons were good this could have been so much more if it could at least be made a personal vehicle and could upgrade weapons, etc. An attack boat could have been so cool especially if it could hold its own in combat instead we get a slow overpriced dinghy with a couple of near useless MGs. This is worth half of what they are asking and even then you could still buy a nightshark or an insurgent pick up and that would still be more worth your money
Gave me that Black Ops Crash Site vibe, even though it's a different boat.

This thing is designed for water to land, not water to air, the limited angle really doesn't hinder it when you use it for its intender purpose.

GTA Online lesson: if it takes less than two rockets to destroy, then it isn't worth it as a military vehicle. $3m for this is ridiculous; it should be more more than 100k at most. Who are the Design Directors for these awful decisions?

If you buy the weapons bench on the submarine it removes the brig and also rockstar randomly removed the gym from the submarine and didn’t even put anything in its place. Disappointed with the interior of the submarine to be honest.
Just got it. Been pretty fun. Wish it could take at least 1 missile... But other than that it is pretty good. Slower than I'd like but it is pretty resistant to small arms fire. Basically anything smaller than a heavy MG isn't gonna dent this thing. And you can take it in the LS river and the other drainages, you just gotta pull back on the stick. You can also put 6 on it, not just 4. Pilot, co-pilot, 2 gunners, and you can have 2 guys crouching behind the metal plates with guns/rpgs for extra coverage. You can do this since this boat doesn't make you fall over if you are just standing in it and it's moving. Very nice feature. Now working on Tula, then Sparrow, then yacht and then I'll have a complete water vehicle set.

I'm guessing they called it the Kurtz because in Apocalypse Now, a movie which takes place almost entirely on a PBR, they're travelling upriver to kill a former SF Colonel name Col.Kurtz.
