Hi Cristi, I've watched this video numerous times trying to see how I can add the talking head to a powerpoint presentation, I'm new to editing and not sure what I should be doing to accomplish this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated
If you have the video of your screen recorded (while you show the presentation), you can use the technique shown in this video and place your talking head over it. Descript should have recorded the screen AND the camera simultaneously. If you only have the video recorded without the screen and have the PowerPoint separately, you can save each image from the PowerPoint (each slide) as a separate image and create scenes in Descript where each slide should be shown, then simply drag those images in those scenes and place them underneath the talking head. Quite easy. I might do a video on this because it's a question I see often.
No, the blue background and title screens were done in Camtasia. That’s where this entire video was recorded and edited. Descript can achieve some of that and even animate it but it is tedious and buggy.

Didn’t know that you could copy and paste a scene. I thought it would also copy the transcript. Nice to know. Thank you.
If you copy and paste the scene itself, yes, it will copy the content too. If you copy and paste the scene LAYOUT, it won't.
Awesome tutorial.
Please more Descript vids.
Thanks, will do! I have A LOT in the queue :D
Helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!

@@Graphicious Thanks so much Cristi, I really appreciate you and look forward to working with you in the near future
If you edit the audio does it trim everything to keep everything aligned
If you’re using a sequence, yes
A question yeah? Please the intro video and exit video, was that also done with descript? Blue background?

@@Graphiciousyea right! Thank you for your response.
How do you use the audio file after you have edited the video inside of descript?
What do you mean?
