Pronouns Song - He, She, It, They | Songs for Speech Therapy and ELD

These pronouns are great to practice for children with difficulties learning language, English learners, toddlers, and late talkers.
Knowing how to use "he," "she," "it" and "they" is a great start to making good sentences. It is also a good first step to making simple prepositional phrases, like "He is waving!"
Music is a powerful tool for learning language! It boosts encoding and retrieving memories, both of which are needed to learn and use language. Music is engaging and often provides even more repitition than "drill and kill" methods of repeating sentences multiple times.
How to use this video:
1. Play the song through twice (sing along if you're comfortable!)
2. Play the song again, pause before each pronoun, and let the students fill them in.
3. Have students sing along with echo voices as review or homework
4. When there are pronoun errors in their spontaneous speech, speak a line of the song and pause for them to fill it in (e.g. Kid uses "him for "he" = say "For a boy say____")
