Synonyms Song Level 1 | Songs for Speech Therapy and ELD

These simple synonyms are great to teach to children with difficulties learning language and English learners.
How to use this video in a lesson:
1. Play the video (sing along if you're comfortable!)
2. Play the song again, pause before each synonym is sung, and let the students fill them in.
3. Have students make their own sentences with each word to practice.
Music is a powerful tool for learning language! It boosts encoding and retrieving memories, both of which are needed to learn and use language. It also boosts engagement and attention, which we always want more of in lessons!!
