You have no idea how much you are my life also. I am house bound for most of my time because I am losing my eyesight. I can’t drive anymore. My health is not good. I need people like you to keep me sane and interested in life. I consider you my friend. I’m loving these little treasures that you are making today. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Would you like a happymail swap partner? I am in oregon, and just got my passport so hopefully soon i can visit canada. I think its about a 7-8hr drive to the ferry….tea in Victoria is my dream. Anyway, stuck at home, maybe ya need cheering up now and then?
I also have questioned if I need more friends and socializing in my life, but I’m finally at a point where I know who I am and what makes me happy. I’m an introvert and comfortable with that fact. Staying home, crafting, being a mom…. These things are what bring me happiness. The tags look great ❤
This video was a double bonus: page tabs that are practical and beautiful and your stories that touch the lives of so many people. I have enjoyed your stories and commentary for over two years. Thank you for making these videos. Do you sleep? LOL
So when you worked the snack bar, you got a whole 3 hrs. Sleep? Baah! Staying up junk Journaling & watching your videos & only getting 3 hours of sleep. Now that's a party!🎉😊. How many people you have around is just what you are used to. Some people never have alone time or time for themselves. Just to relax their mind & body. Besides, now you have thousands of friends! We all love you. I'm sure sometimes more communication than you would want( having to read thousands of comments). You definitely have enriched my life! I want to try everything you do. I love your spark of genius, i.e., a fish held in by a magnet 12/22. That is the spark that the Leonard's of the world have. Some would say, " Your journals are no Sistine chapel." To that, I say, "You haven't seen her Tim Holtz Studio Journal then!" 😂❤🥲🥹 I understand your aversion to 'mass makes' it feels like 'mass produced' like a machine does it. But your tags are not that. Thanks for explaining what you are thinking along the way. Like the round stamp going off the edge to tie it to a page. Okay, that's enough, monolog. We love you & are happy for you. There is a lot to be said about just being content with your life. Living our todays & not chasing the world. It's a good place to be.😉😍
@@denisehampton3102 I agree with everything you said in your comment. I retired almost a year ago and I hardly leave my house because I’m crafting or painting and I’m very content. My husband sees what I’m doing in my craft room and comments how cool it is.
It's serendipity Louise. When things like that (the snippet strips) happen. It means that your intuition is strong but more importantly it means that you are following your intuition thus making it stronger. It works just like a muscle. Every time you listen to and follow your intuition, it gets stronger. When those "snippet" moments of serendipity happen, it means to keep going. To keep listening to and following your intuition. 💪🏻
I just love these! Love how you came up with using the envelope punch board to make them, very creative idea and using tools in a new way is cool. I like how they’re very busy, but they’re so small that it doesn’t matter they’re busy, they add a little pop of interest to a page. I kind of cringe with mass making too, but don’t really know why. Part of it is probably from my days of doing craft shows, when I had to make many multiples of things to sell; that sucks the fun out of creating quickly! 😂
These are so cute Luise! Thanks so much for sharing your life my friend. My Maternal Grandparents came to Canada here from Austria, and I have a long line of family there. It’s so beautiful all around Germany. ❤
I am new to your channel. I found you & Barbara via Dephemerember 2024. I love this series! I am crafting along with you today and find it's like crafting with a good friend. Thanks for taking the time to explain your process so thoroughly. I find myself talking to you as you question whether you've used a correct english word. Happy Christmas!
I’m really loving this series and especially the stories of your life! I am more of an introvert as well and I don’t find myself drawn to parties or crowds or the desire to constantly be away from my home either. It’s very fulfilling to live an art-centered life away from the hustle and bustle of what society deems “normal!”
I have been searching for a project i can take with me on a road trip this week; thanks to you and this video i have found it! ❤ so gorgeous! Love your work.
Hi Luise ! Happy Belated Birthday. A great video as always - I love the ideas and the completed tabs. Thank you. Appreciated hearing some of your story.
Luisa, these are awesome! I will be making a bunch of them! This is just my kind of thing…lots of tiny pieces! Also, I am your birthday twin (February 4), although I am considerably older than you 😊. Thank you for sharing your joy in art making with us. It is so inspiring to see you create in real time and I love watching your videos! ❤
I saw your snippet that says, "Arrive 9:00PM". I already have my alarm set for our gathering, and Sasche's concert.💖 Except... in California, US... the time the concert starts will be, "9:00AM". Just like Tim!!😁 I was 30mins late last time. I am a 'night owl'. I have a problem staying up very late...'til 3 or 4am, sometimes.👀 But, I will do my best to be on time...this time! 😉💗💗💗
What an interesting living situation. Sounds ideal. I am imagining your caravan to be one of those wooden shepherds huts, like some bohemian traveler, lol

Great page tabs. I think the pointing hand is one of my favorites too. Also, I have these same dictionary pages and never use them. Now I know what to do with them. Thank you.
Oh you crack me up Luise. I'm from the US And I grew up with a camper that ride in the back of a truck, then a trailer (caravan) that gets towed behind a truck and yes we are called campers too, I think it's wonderful you have an option of places to go and not stuck in one place.
❤ I also hate people. God bless my husband and kids for tolerating me 😅 I also am not into parties but I'm an introvert so. Thanks for the inspiration!!! I made a few along with you!
I enjoy crafting at home. I haven't gotten into journaling/junk journaling until recently so I'm pretty much a 'newbie'. As far as friends go, I have many I have conversations with (via text more than phone or personal) and many through where I used to work. However, I'm not a party person and don't drink alcohol a lot, so that limits my 'out-going' with many friends. I really enjoy your videos, Luise - you're very inspiring and creative. I truly and sincerely enjoy listing to you too, personally and creatively. Thank you for sharing pieces of yourself with us.
Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us. I live in the mountain's and it's at least 45 minutes to the nearest bigger town. My husband and i used to commute to work together. It got really tiring 10 hours a week, just commuting .
Love them. I just watched Mandy make her version of these and loved her style. I'm more French Country, but yours are nice too. They do really add intress to the pages. I like the open lace that you used here. I have 2 good sized dollies that are an open pattern. I've been holding on to them not knowing how I'm going to use it. Now I have a reason to use them. I can see one for a masculine with a miniature "Little Red Truck" as its focal piece
🌻🌻🌻Luise, these are wonderful! I so agree with you about "no love" in many of the mass-making videos I've watched. But your page tabs are oozing love, LOL!! And I totally agree about loving a quiet life. For years I allowed coworkers to talk me into going to parties and other activities that most people love. I am an introvert/empath and that stuff was always just overwhelming to me. Like an previous commenter, I'm finally at the age where I do what makes ME happy. Being at home, crafting, sewing, keeping up with my precious family via phone calls and texts (they all live far from me), hiking with my dog, texting with friends...all of that makes me happy, so that's what I do! 🌻🌻🌻
Luise, I love how you explain how an item could be used in a journal not just how to make it. Your creative and artistic mind/eye amazes me and you’re teaching me how to look at something artistically. You are a treasure
Luise, this is the first time watching you. You are a breathe of fresh air. I believe you should always make art with your heart and soul. I appreciate that you are very careful that you get the correct words. Your ideas are wonderful and inspirational. Thank you, I will be watching you again. Love from Australia xx
Sorry I’m so late commenting but as u know March 2nd was my birthday and I have been super busy, but I always watch and ❤ur videos, anyway I’ve been busy making these this afternoon as Facebook is playing silly games and not letting me login, I don’t know if it’s a fb thing but I am sure a couple of days off won’t hurt and more time to watch and craft with you Luise, 😊 hope u are also having fun crafting, sending out hugs and ❤ur story, much ❤ , Charla xx
I love mass making, terms don’t bother me. I like it because it creates more creativity as I continue to stay on the same technique. I’m creating so it doesn’t matter what order it occurs in, to me at least! Totally love these tabs!
First time watching your videos, and enjoyed it tremendously! Also enjoy your conversations style and life story, so interesting. Greetings from a cold Cape Town, South Africa.
I really enjoyed this hour with you. I stumbled upon your channel today and enjoy your style of junk journals. You are extremely talented and I love your stories. Thank you so much for sharing, I will definitely be watching your channel often. Sending hugs from USA. 😊
Luise, you inspire me everyday. Thank you for sharing your story and amazing talent with all of us. I'm just starting out, but count you and Barbara as my greatest influences. One day I hope to be a little like you...Kate from Australia.
I REALLY enjoyed this! Thank you! And thanks again for a few laughs...especially the yoga master climbing under your desk! I know exactly what you mean! I use my back scratcher for reaching things as much as I use it to scratch with! 🤭 I could live like that too. I only have a handful of real friends and I don't enjoy most of what I encounter in public. I am much older than you, and have health problems, so I am home most days. Do you happen to know about The Enneagram or the Meyers-Briggs personality types? I'm glad you're crafty AND happy!!❤❤
I love the idea of decorating tabs - so often they are just ‘there’ on the top of tags! It was nice hearing a bit of your story too, thank you for letting us be a party to a bit of your life!
Love your stories, love these tag clusters🤩 I love listening to people's stories because listening to a good story and watching people create, and not in a rush, makes it so much more interesting and relaxing. I think it's really cool where you live, like camping and being free to do what you want and love what you do.
I agree, I feel like mass making is making the same exact thing over and over, however by adding a little bit of different items makes each unique. I love watching you create.
Hello my friend, hope to see you soon. Tonight😆 today for me. I do love your videos. I’m also starting some page tabs for a journal what a coincidence. Love and hugs. From Indiana
Working from home today, I came across this post from you! ❤️Kind of new to junk journals, I am just soaking it all up! This video was incredible. Thank you for the detailed how-to, walk through! You know I am going to hurry my day so I can go and try this! I will be looking for more inspiration from you! And….Happy belated Birthday! 🎂🎉 Love, love these. And your story!
I have to tell you I ran out to my freezing cold studio and made about 7 of these. I even started working in my journal again. These are so much fun. I will post a pic on Instagram and tag you on Sunday.❤❤❤
The universe was really talking to you today! I also love in a caravan, though here in the USA, we call them travel trailers. It's 30 feet long and perfect for me. It does mean that i have to be creative with my craft space and storage.
These are fantastic. Just love them, but seriously I love everything you do. I so enjoy your videos, your German accent and your wonderful sense of humor. I like you as a person. It’s wonderful you get to enjoy your little piece of nature at least for part of the year until they all show up and you feel like you’re in the middle of a bustling metropolis 😂😂❤️
This is a very exciting video…….so many tiny bits stashed in my studio…..they now can come out and find a purpose………bless you for sharing your time and talent ……Sunshine on your day.
18:00-ish I just had to pause. Luise, I feel the exact same way about the term, "mass making". It's like you're a machine, or robot, just pumping out pieces...with no love or emotion involved.💔 Plus, I tend to get bored easily. I always need a challenge, stimulation/inspiration, to best create. Aaaand...I struggle to NOT be so "perfect" on each piece.🙄lol But, I think, if we keep in mind how beautiful the embellishments will be once added to the "big picture" it helps.🤩💗
I love your little tabs...so cute!🤩 Sometimes it's really nice to have a good time & just make something little & fun, that you don't have to think too much about.😉 Tyfs! See you in the morning...my morning. lol💗💗💗
I’m from Hispanic decent and I love when you go “Ay, ya, yi”. It’s perfect! 😊. This is the first time I crafted along with you. Really enjoyed it. “See” you tomorrow!!
I love everything you do. You're just amazing. I wish I spoke german to listen to you in german too. Sometimes I watch your german video even if I don't understand😁. And your creativity is so inspiring. All you do is beautiful and impressive: I'm always impressed and in a hurry to create myself such beautiful things. Thank you for everything.
You are always sharing so many great ideas. Tonight, I was thinking about making my 1st masterboard. There are so many ideas out there. I love the distressed edges, but rather tear the paper 1st & then tea dye them. They did what I had hoped for. The edges are a little darker, so I won't need to distress every edge. I haven't seen any videos using this method. Perhaps you have. But if not, you might give it a try. Thank you for all you do.
I understand what you mean about mass making. I too feel like it’s just throwing stuff together no feeling in it. Todays project although mass making each one is different. 💐
You have no idea how much you are my life also. I am house bound for most of my time because I am losing my eyesight. I can’t drive anymore. My health is not good. I'd love to send you some happy mail too! My husband is from Canada so we visit often and I can mail you a little something next time I'm up. ~Velvet
I also have lost my eye sight and am at home most of the time now too. It’s so great to know I’m not alone ❤
Thank you so much ❤️

This is a very exciting video…….so many tiny bits stashed in my studio…..they now can come out and find a purpose………bless you for sharing your time and talent ……Sunshine on your day.
18:00-ish I just had to pause. Luise, I feel the exact same way about the term, "mass making". It's like you're a machine, or robot, just pumping out pieces...with no love or emotion involved.💔 Plus, I tend to get bored easily. I always need a challenge, stimulation/inspiration, to best create. Aaaand...I struggle to NOT be so "perfect" on each piece.🙄lol
But, I think, if we keep in mind how beautiful the embellishments will be once added to the "big picture" it helps.🤩💗
I love your little tabs...so cute!🤩 Sometimes it's really nice to have a good time & just make something little & fun, that you don't have to think too much about.😉 Tyfs! See you in the morning...my morning. lol💗💗💗
I love these and cost absolutely nothing to make and a bonus it gets rid of scraps that are building up in the craft room. Thank you so much❤
I'm making these today. Wow, how perfect for a journal!
Fantastic idea Luise. Looks like you had lots of fun with this.
This is great 😊
You are always sharing so many great ideas.
Love these dear so fun and perfect for pages Thank you for sharing this with us 💖
I understand what you mean about mass making. I too feel like it’s just throwing stuff together no feeling in it. Todays project although mass making each one is different. 💐
Hi Luise!🤗 Another great video!! I am in love with those tabs!❣️❣️❣️
Thanks for so much about your private life. It’s fun to get to know you. I love the page tabs. Thank you for that too!
