Just watch my another live set! I started using the blues harmonica to create new and interesting soundscapes and textures. ruclips.net/video/cEwLWqW2TDA/видео.htmlsi=7pd875z8X6uC08GD
I'm always on the verge of selling mine - it's a fantastic machine, but somehow sample-based music making and I are not quite getting along - and then I see and hear something like this. Impressive stuff, super nice!
Hey, honestly I am not a sample guy that keeps all the libraries and stuff, hate organising them in folders and so on. I just use the digitakt as Single cycle waveforms / wavetables device... Oh and 909 hi hats 😉
Just stunning. It makes me feel like my usage of the device is rather pedestrian and inspires me to push forward. I love the soundscapes you’ve created. ❤
Oh, I remember this evening! I was impressed by all these synthesizers and music machines, but Dan only had a digitakt. Then I offered Dan a goat so that he could blow on its ass and get a wonderful sound =)
dedication I don't have to this machine other than in spurts. inspiring. Perhaps I will try to make something longer than ~6-10mins. thanks for the inspiration
Thanks for the feedback! I take the signal from the headphone output from Digitakt into the Zoom H5 recorder. And I monitor the sound from it through headphones. I hope I understood your question correctly)
Only practice can become your teacher! Lots of practice. And also hearing other music. Try to repeat something, use tips and tricks in writing your tracks.
No, these are previously prepared patterns and samples. Improvisation here is in the construction of the track itself, its changes, effects and transitions between tracks.
I synthesize all melodic sounds on microfreak, processing them through a hologram microcosm. Some one-shots were sampled from volca drum, as well as from stock sounds in digitakt. And I also used the mechanical sounds of cyborgs from the cinematic sample pack.
nothing special) before moving to another pattern, I turn up the delay, reverb and that’s it. the tails sound on a new pattern. Or both patterns have the same sample and I make a transition through it
This is a bar with a musical focus on electronic music. And it sounds quite loud there. That evening we decided to place our setups at a large table in the center of the hall.

Just buy a digitone instead. You can do as much and more with that. (;

Best live performance I’ve ever seen on the digitakt! Breaks, ambient, uptempo, downtempo goodness. Well done!
Agreed
thanx)
Impressive big sound and composition, some Autechre and BOC around your inspiration ...
Yeah this is hard bro, I would be stoked to walk into a random bar and hear this.

Stop misleading people! The kazoo is a musical instrument! And here you write about a goat’s ass!
upss, sorry, yes I meant kazoo )🥰 ...problems with translation from Russian
🤣
very impressive, specially for being Digitakt only. Congrats!
Great session, mate! Nice one👏
Спасибо! Редко что-то из музыки вдохновляет. Тут прям аутентично 👌
Круто, спасибо)
Очень здорово получилось, слушается на одном дыхании!
Спасибо)
Very nice performance, and really cool beats!

I'm glad that I can inspire someone to start playing music again
thats how its done sun!🤙
great sounds! this is inspiring me to take mine off of strict drum machine duties more often
Digitakt is more than just a drum machine
Great video sir. May I ask, are you cueing sounds with earbuds, and how have you got that routed on Digitakt?
Thanks for the feedback! I take the signal from the headphone output from Digitakt into the Zoom H5 recorder. And I monitor the sound from it through headphones. I hope I understood your question correctly)
inspiring stuff! wish i could be in the room for it
Nice flow. Subbed.
Wow I would love some Digitakt lessons from you ❤️🙏

love this!
Yooo compleet sick!
Fantástica atmosfera eletronica!!!!
Love it. Brilliant set
incredible work
awesome 👏
Random question, is this largely improv aside from the samples you've maybe preloaded for this show?
Or is this something rehearsed?
No, these are previously prepared patterns and samples. Improvisation here is in the construction of the track itself, its changes, effects and transitions between tracks.
19:00 mark. so beautiful..great interlude from the earlier work. Now seriously, Teach! How to do it?
I listen to a lot of music and take some things into account when writing my tracks.
this is it. use "reference tracks" to coach your .WAV [ I hear BOC ...plus the Space Invaders part is the bomb!!!! :) ]
That is really amazing! What kind of samples are you using and where do you find them? How do you manage your sample pool?
I synthesize all melodic sounds on microfreak, processing them through a hologram microcosm.
Some one-shots were sampled from volca drum, as well as from stock sounds in digitakt. And I also used the mechanical sounds of cyborgs from the cinematic sample pack.
🏁🏁🏁
well done!

Thanx!
I bought digitakt at the beginning of February 2022
@@den_pat that flow was nice, did u use song mode?
@@proptosis2682 I don't use song mode. I prefer to build a composition and improvise live.
amazing !!🔥🔥
Digitakt dopeness🔥
yeah!!
Really nice! Was it a digital open stage somewhere?
no, it's a planned evening at a bar. Experimental Sunday. Usually they play DJ there
Are the people in this bar even hearing this?? They aren’t reacting at all it’s bizarre like not even noticing the magic that is taking place somehow
Where is this bar? It’s magical!
Saint Petersburg
La digitak sirve pa hacer reggaeton ?
si compadre.
how you realized transitions?
nothing special) before moving to another pattern, I turn up the delay, reverb and that’s it. the tails sound on a new pattern.
Or both patterns have the same sample and I make a transition through it
WOW! Super talented! Great sounds and how in the hell did you do it?
