No one wants to die. But why do Hmong people still sacrifice animals for the dead or person that past away. Killing animals for your family member or so to take with them in the after life. When they get to the gate. And they said that your family member that past away. Can go pass the gate. But those animals still have many more years to live. Those animals won't let your family member go past the gate. Because they're mad and don't want to die yet either. But the family kill them for that person. Those animals will go to the next life. But your family that past away will have to stay and suffer in the after life. And adding all those other years of all the animals that was sacrifice for them. I don't think your family member will be so happy when they get to the gate. And knowing that it time to go but you guys sacrifice too many animals for them. Also I don't care about what our ancestors used to do. All this killing doesn't do anything for the dead. Beside make them suffer.
