There is already a new cinematic called Alleria Light and Shadow that you might want to react separately to!
@@Tahmaysu THEY NEED TO WATCH THAT OMG!!!

The spider people are called Nerubians, and they have been around since Warcraft 3, actually. However they don't show up too often because of their location, having mostly been localised to deep underground in Northrend, where they were at war with the Lich King and his undead scourge. They haven't prominently appeared since Wrath of the Lich King, so this is the first time we're seeing them return in a while. And even in Wrath their content was severely cut, they were originally going to have a raid for their capital city, Azjol-Nerub, but it was pared down into two dungeons, but with TWW we're getting a whole zone, several dungeons and for sure a raid surrounding them.
not only that 99.9999% of the nerubians we have ever seen in wow were the undead kind, in wrath there were only a total of 3(atleast i do believe it was 3) living nerubians, they hand out a couple of quests and are overall rather chill
😎👍😀
Nerubians have been around since the original RTS games. In Wrath of the Lich King, Arthas even raised some into his army of scourge. These ones are unique in the sense that Xal has transformed them into bipedal supersoldiers.
Thanks for answering our question on that 🙂
I love all of the little side quests in the zone and the little extra flavor on random items you can find lying around that connect all of the Nerubian kingdoms to each other. Including Azj Kahet.
Funfact, xala'taths not the elf.
That's the body of some high elf we killed during bfa.
See look, she still has the scar from my blunderbuss.
😯
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames one day we might get the reveal of her true cosmic horror form, but for now she prefers to always present in the body of an elf
Awww puppy is just snoozing away throughout 🥹
Yeah 🐶 😴
"Whate are you doing?"
"Succeding you, mother."
😈
The face she makes watching the queen die, Xalatath is causing chaos and ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!
😈🤘
If you are interested in getting to know some characters like who xalath is and who she’s fighting against. Then I definetly recommend the video by Platinum WoW regarding Alleria Windrunner, she’s going to be the person hunting Xal in the expansion and she’s Sylvanas older sister, she also has some crazy lore that would be good to know before the expansion hits that I think Platinum WoW does a good deal on telling. Alleria also got a new cinematic, but I heavily recommend the Platinum WOW video on Alleria
Thanks for the vid recommendation 🙂
That Queen Ansurek cinematic is SO warcraft. It gives Arthas succeeding his father. It gives Bwon'Samedi making his deal with King Rastakan. It gives Kilrogg Deadeye stabbing his chieftan father after having his vision of leading their clan. I love it.
A lot of treacherous children in this universe.
But it also reminds me of the pact Azshara makes with N'Zoth before she and her people were turned into Naga.
The end of the story with Ansurek has a fun call back to Azshara's Warbringers trailer, as it ends in a similar fashion, a Void Being Warping a group of peoples and claiming their leader as *their* Queen, not in support but *ownership* Also Neferess, her mother, has a rather interesting fate in store for her
It also has a callback to the Arthas cinematic in Warcraft 3, of course.
Xal'atath has very familiar motivs like the Eldrich Being Nyarlatoteph from H.P. Lovecraft
Xalatath is shaping up to be one of the best villains WoW has ever had. Being portrayed as intelligent, powerful and a manipulative puppet master. I hope they keep building and deliver justice in her story.
Children betraying their parents in wow is just another Wednesday, actually in wow i think is an extreme sport being a parent.
Right? Its almost as dangerous as being a parent in any Disney movie.
I just wanna mention that the new queen suddenly has a nose and six legs instead of four after 11:32. Apparently void magic gives away free noses and legs :3
The old gods blood transformed her and his army
@@Eloryan The old gods blood gimme more legs and noses, hell yea
😂😂
lol so many spiders in the next expansion.. blizzard implemented a spider filter LOL
😂
You need to see the cinematic called; 'Alleria: Light and Shadow''
Please watch Alleria -Light and Shadow!
I share his love of all things Xal' 😂
Shadow priest had one of my favorite legion campaigns mainly because of Xal's whispers
I really like that comic kind of artstyle they went with for the third trailer. Reminds me of the legion trailer with illidan and the demon hunters.
Was just watching your Borderlands intro video from 2 years ago.
If you two ever plan to play games together I can’t recommend enough that you two play Borderlands 2. The game is simply a 9.5 or 10 out of 10. The story is so good, the comedy is great, and the villain of Handsome Jack is a solid 20 out of 10. Also as a side note, Aalvador is insanely powerful with his double gun ability and “money shot” I think it’s called doing massive damage. Kreig is also hilarious for being insane and will say funny things all the time, including his true inner self saying something from time to time.
Also Borderlands 2 has one of if not the best DLC expansion of all time with Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep which has the original vault hunters playing “Bunkers & Badasses” (Dungeons and Dragons). It has so much content in that DLC it could have been its own game.
This game is a must play and not just for the main story either, the side missions are great with lots of funny jokes and references as well
I dont jnow if you know this, but Alleria is the sister of Sylvanas Windrunner!
A little theory:
Xalatath is a Naaru or was empowered by one.
Naruu are crystals of light (Illidan destroyed one with his eye beam if you remember.) When Naaru run out of energy, they fall into the void (The giant crystal in Hollowfall can do that too ^^.)
Now there are some Naaru, and there are 2 of them that are void.
One is called “Xe'ra” and if you look at it, and the scene when Xalatath floats in front of the Old Queen in the video, you can see quite a lot of similarities in terms of attitude and clothes.
So I strongly suspect that she is either a Naaru (which would be a bit easy) or that she was “touched” or empowered by one).
Early access starts on the 22nd ;) and it's going to be so cool!
Oh yes, for the Old Gods! For the void
I love world of Warcraft so much ive been playing the game since i was about 10 years old and im now 22 the game is so special to me and i have watched every one of your wow videos and i look forward to every new one. I love you both so much 💖
I highly recommend reading the World of Warcraft: Chronicle books. Vol. 1 to 3 can help give you a lot of background information and help you with your overall WoW journey through the lore and storylines.
World of Warcraft has been knocking it out of the park and into another universe with a W after W after W the things that they have been coming out with have me so hyped to see what Xal has in store for us, she just makes for such a epic badass villain.
Agreed 😁
Yaay, you guys are so back in time!! Xal'atath draws near 👀
Also, you should definitely check out 2 cutscenes that have been out for some time: *Dark Heart In-Game Cinematic* and *Patch 10.2.7 Alleria Cinematic* before diving into *Alleria: Light and Shadow*. Trust me, you will be glad for the context ✨
I think Nerubians are really cute in this and i like it they are kinda the good guys but then corrupted that is really bad. But exited to see how this end..WoW has become GoT ...
They look like but they're not. It's like the Mantid in Pandaria.
there's a short anime out called Alleria light and shadow it would be nice if you could react to that too!
Thanks for letting us know about that 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames no problems, btw ppl probably have told you in the comments but just to be clear its just another wow cinematic but its in anime style
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames actually we have like 4 or 5 new good quality in game ciematics too so there's that too😂
Does anyone know who voices Ansurek? It mostly sounds like Laura Bailey to me, but a couple times it also sounded like Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Is it either of them? I can't find an answer.
I really hope Blizzard does Xal'atath justice as a villain and doesn't ruin her like they did Sylvanas. I never want her to actually be a boss because lore-wise I think she always has hidden behind others and I want her to stay that way even if her plans fail. I'd rather she run away and find a new way to create chaos then to ever see the unsatisfactory end of her.
There is new ones if you want
You guys should watch the p3r dlc trailers
What the dog doin
The thing I like most about Xal'atath is that unlike the Jailer, she didn't just come out of nowhere. Her story was done like so many of the best villains of Warcraft history, and it was built over the course of several years. And most importantly, we experienced the story in-game and as actual participants of it. From her time as an actual artifact weapon for the priest class, to freeing her from the blade and being literally there with her when she made her bargain of freedom with N'Zoth, to all of the additional character and plot building breadcrumbs and side quests surrounding and leading up to her involvement in The War Within.
THIS is how you make a Warcraft villain. THIS is how all of the best villains (and characters in general) in Warcraft came about. A lesson, it looks like Blizzard managed to re-learn.
@@OverworkedITGuy Well…she DID come out of nowhere…she appeared as a dagger in legion and extremely briefly as whispers in BfA. Arguably, the jailer had a similar introduction with the appearance of frostmourne - a mourneblade, in wotlk.
@@jadelowe8050 Except she was actually developed with a backstory during Legion while she was a dagger. You had to be a priest to get it, but that backstory was in game years before she was even a factor in the main story. And there were actually references to her before Legion. Also even in BfA, she was only a small part of the larger story, which again set things up and progressed it as a plot line that could be expanded upon later.
So, No. She didn't just come out of nowhere. And It's not even remotely closed to how everything with the Jailer shoved badly written retcons of decades of established canon (including the origin of the Mourneblades) with no lead up, and no explanations that made an sense to the continuity outside of using it as toilet paper, and then throwing it away (which was probably the only good decision made for it).
Xal'atath was hinted at long long ago, then actually introduced in one form, returned into the story again, evolved into an actual character with a proper physical presence and agency, and progressed over the span of years and multiple expansions to get to where we are now.
The two are not even in the same time zone of being the same.
Bravo.
What if you react to Hatred gameplay trailer?
Xal'atath itself isn't really that elf and to call it "female" is kind of not the most precise description.
It was literally just the first corpse lying around that the dagger found and corrupted. Though Xal'atath may allow it just to seem more personable and more effective in manipulation It is an entity truly beholden to itself. Players first interacted with Xal'atath in its' dagger form in LEGION of all expansions back in 2016, although you had to be a Shadow Priest, so not many player did as SP is historically one of the weakest classes throughout WoW's history to find and use the blade. So it's not just you, MOST players didn't interact meaningfully with Xal'athat as she's been in the background through Legion and only came to the forefront in BfA. Now a simple unassuming artifact weapon from 4 expansions ago is the herald of the next big threat to Azeroth with all the Old Gods dead and Sargeras as well. Nobody knows what to expect from here.
Also cool that we're going back to basics with the Nerubians, our first meaningful interaction with bug people since the days of Ahn'Qiraj, an old raid where we killed our first Old God in Classic WoW, C'Thun. (Still campaigning for you guys to react to barny64, great videos documenting one of the coolest world-events that this game has ever saw, the Scarab Lord Adventures Series is GOLD RUclips content and barny's won some community awards and recognition from Blizzard in some ways for the series. ruclips.net/video/GinDjIDTvHk/видео.html)
Either way yeah if nothing else, the WoW narrative is now going to be able to refocus after the disjointed mess that was Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands plot, now that we're back on that core story-thread that's been running since the beginning, Azeroth's World-Soul and what will become of it pretty much everything that's happened is somehow linked to this core conflict especially the Burning Crusades/Old God stuff.
👍
This expansion is definitely not for arachnophobes and thankfully, Blizz has made an Arachnophobe filter for people that need it for accessibility.
React to Call of duty Black Ops 6 zombies trailers plus 17 minute gameplay plz 🧟♂️
Hi❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Am So Out Of The WOW Loop
I'm sorry but compare to past this is 😂😂😂🤣
