Love, love, love their blend. Sugababes were not a thing in the US (as a lot of overseas acts never broke here). Only really learned of them when they reformed as MKS. I feel like the industry has for a long while and continues to suppress real vocalists. But it feels like artists are now seeing the power of the internet and can reach their fanbase directly if they make the effort. And oh, Siobhan...pronounced like Shavaughn.

First of all I wanted to say thank you for doing this great, little reaction video on the Sugababes, there are way too few, almost none actually so I got quite excited when seeing yours. I would love to do it myself but haven‘t quite figured out how to do it just yet and also I‘m a little camera-shy, I just don‘t look good on it but maybe we could react on something Sugababes-related together sometime soon. So I‘ve been a massive fan of the Sugababes for years and years and it would be my great pleasure to tell you a bit about their history. Originally formed in 1998 the Sugababes were Mutya, Siobhan & Keisha the three ladies that you see in this performance, they only ever released one album together called ''One Touch'‘ that was 20 years ago, it has had it‘s anniversary a month ago actually. The three of them had mediocre success with it but it produced one smash hit single called ''Overload'' and was very successful in some areas around Europe. In 2001 Siobhan (the girl on the left, she’s a redhead wich you can‘t see in the video) left the group after rumors of bullying, she got replaced by Heidi (the blonde girl on the single cover of CIA you put up in your video) they became very successful with a string of hits, wich became absolute classics in the Popworld and their back catalogue grew bigger and bigger. In 2005 at their peak Mutya (the mixed-asian girl in the middle) quit after she had her child, the pressure got too big and her priorities changed. At the time towards the end of that year ''Push The Button'' (produced by Dallas Austin) was their biggest hit. Amelle was the new babe (she‘s not featured in the video) and became part of what was known as Sugababes 3.0. The new trio were active from 2005 until late 2009, they‘ve released two original albums and a greatest hits compilation and enjoyed great success during that time. Keisha (the black girl on the right) got kicked out of the group in 2009 for reasons that to this day remain still unknown. Apparently there was a lack in communication and the other members didn‘t wanna carry on anymore. So within 24h their management replaced Keisha with Jade the last and final line-up Sugababes 4.0 if you will. Unfortunately it didn‘t quite work out for them they way it could‘ve, they went from one of the biggest girl groups that were absolutely one of a kind with so much to offer, to a very ordinary girl group that lost a lot of their credibility. So the magic was gone as was the interest of most, the general public, the media etc. they never officially disbanded just stopped recording & performing around 2011/2012. After 10 years being apart, the original members decided to reform and give it another go basically, because of legal reasons they couldn‘t use the name Sugababes so therfore choose to perform under Mutya Keisha Siobhan. Again the luck wasn‘t quite on their side this time, they released only one single and the album that was meant to be never saw the light of the day (it got leaked eventually a few years later). So in the years to come all members tried to establish themselves in the industry, music, acting, presenting, theatre etc. apart from Mutya (she released one brilliant album and collaborated with the likes of George Michael, Amy Winehouse & Groove Armada on it) the other projects even though some really great outputs amongs them, weren‘t as successful. There was meant to be a big comeback in 2020 by the orignal trio who in the meantime won back the rights to use the name Sugababes again but due to all that is going on in the world right now and probably still will for some time, all the plans were put on hold. So there you go, a little bit of history for you there, hope I could help take care ;)

I'm in the UK and have always loved the sugababes! Way better than Spice girls or any other British girl group in my opinion, far better singers. Love this line up the most as Siobhans voice is so beautiful, but I did also like Heidi. They really lost something when Mutya left as her voice has such a gorgeous quality that just cannot be replaced. So happy the original line up are back together and now have their original name 🙌 🤩
This is arguably their best vocal! They work so well together in this formation, you can see why it worked so well such a shame we didn’t get to see what could’ve truly happened, but still grateful for the hits they had with later members

I will say all the girls in each lineup were good singers the label did a good job of finding girls that had some range and abilities but the original 3 are the best Siobhan got the angelic Soprano, Mutya with this deep velvety alto, and Kiesha with range and versatility their blend is unmatched in comparison to the other combos.
First I wanna say thank you for these reaction videos, and I LOVE your voice, so smooth!!! LOVE IT! As for Sugababes, unfortunately with every line up change they became the very thing they started off against. They had their biggest success in the 2nd line up (Mutya, Keisha, Heidi) a couple of hits in the 3rd line up, About You Now being their biggest but they became inconsistent with Amelle, she overall was never really accepted or liked by fans, her vocals especially live were, well, yeah more off the key than in the right one. Ultimately she brought their downfall, she and Heidi stabbed Keisha in the back and got her kicked out, accused her of being a bully, they happily ran with the "Keisha is an angry black woman" crap and went about trying to destroy her reputation but Ultimately fans did not support them without Keisha and they were over, though has to be said they were already on their last legs before Keisha was kicked out, chasing trends and trying to get hits with rubbish like Get Sexy. The original line up were always the stronger vocalists, especially harmony wise, they were prevented from using their own name until 2019 due to their old manager tradmarking the name and then trying to stop them getting work, Keisha however applied for the names ownership, 8 years of legal battles later she was awarded the name trademark, which she shared with Siobhan and Mutya and so they are now Sugababes again, whilst Heidi and Amelle remain unemployed, which after what they did to Keisha, they fully deserved (gotta be real here).

Karma got her and that other girl in the end, fans deserted them, career over, unemployment and in the case of that other girl (Amelle) bankruptcy. Karma Karma Karma!!! I've always gravitated towards the bass female voice. Toni, Brandy, Mutya, even Mel B aka Scary Spice. She may not be technically sound but her tone is beautiful
