@@elin111 Eh, I still believe in a reboot tho: after all, the easiest way Bushiroad could save in time and money would be to reuse the G series. That and it would give them time to work on an entirely new series if they go down this route.

@@vollied4865 You must be smoking something off this world, Shadows have been topping. The meta is basically every clan in PSR (Phantasmal Steed Restoration) except for DI, and Narukami are literally running the meta rn

Esuka is S Cup 😏
Esuka is probably my favourite final boss antagonist they've created.
She's not bad for the sake of it. She just needs to bring harsh reality to Shin, and I love that they've finally brought in a female top antagonist! And she's actually somewhat complex. She's not horrid for the sake of it.
Seriously, the V series reboot has been great for the female fighters because they're actually treated more equally when it comes to player match ups. For most of the original series including G for a while, they only paired the female fighters against each other making them "rivals" like a cat fight rather than mixing it up with the girls and boys because card games are not physical games so gender doesn't matter. It was insulting how Misaki was always paired against Asaka or the female players in the official matches.
And Esuka is the height of this. She's sought after to fight because she's a skilled player! Not because she's some idol. That's somewhat part of her as she is pretty but she is highly respected and it's why people want to face her. And they dont have a cliche of having a bunch of fanboys participate to get close to her like with Kourin. And just... I'm gushing! She's just the epitome of a well written female antagonist that isn't really objectified.
A nice episode but I actually wanted team TNT and Capital to face at semi-finals. I like how Rive isn't participating because he thinks that Shinemon would rely on him too much he's testing him to see if he really had what it takes to take back Card Capital.

Clarent sword deck is basically sending grade 1 units to the drop zone either from the deck or field and banish them to gain effects by binding. Almost like a binding ritual
