Bravo...again! Nice video and very well done. After watching the video last night (the one from 2 years ago), I jumped the gun and ordered the PCB from Amazon....I do like the Jenna Rae one and I will check that one out, too. As an aside, I was going thru my Spice Cupboard and found a small jar from Bakewell.....lol, (my granddaughter had left that here and I forgot I had it) And I really like that one, too. What can I say, I am going to have a blast with these....like real soon. Thank you Brittnee!
haha that's awesome! Yeah the Jenna Rae Cakes one is amazing, but there are also others that are good! Their shipping times are a little weird and take a bit longer than ordering from Amazon but for certain projects it's worth it. Have so much fun! :D
Thanks for nice videos , i just wast to tell you i am from PA, and you are most beautiful chocolate chef on entire RUclips , with most beautiful voice and nice informative videos .
Hi Brittnee, just a follow up. I ordered the PCB from Amazon and it was just delivered. Unfortunately, a few things. The label reads Homehere. Origin: French. Ingredient: Titanium Dioxide , which is banned in Europe so that surprised me. Also the cap was not sealed, when I opened it, the paper seal was also loose. It can’t be returned, so lesson learned. We’re forced to order online and it’s not always a good thing. Just wanted to give you and your subscribers an fyi.
Yes exactly! Honestly I get super frustrated with Amazon, they are supposed to have a rigorous seller process for those selling edible products, but it seems like weird things happen a lot! PCB is a real brand I know for sure, but I agree that something sketchy seems like it could be going on with the Amazon reseller. That's why I wanted to at least mention it in the video so people were aware and could maybe choose one of the other top choices!
I'm going to try a Halloween themed bonbon. Like Candy Corn Colors. I don't have the Cocoa Butter. But I will try 3 colors of Candy melts? I once mixed white and milk chocolate and had a marble effcet. So I thought about the candy corn Halloween theme. I don't have any gold dust. But will try it later. Thanks for your videos.
You're welcome! Oh yes I am posting some Halloween bonbons in the upcoming weeks, I am excited and have some fun designs! I also had an idea to do a cute orange, yellow, and white stripe similar to candy corn!
I used luster dust and lemon extract then colored then with Roxy and Rich coloured cocoa butter. I have a mess on my hands. I hope you can give me a suggestion. The lustre dust has adhered to my Chocolate moles and I cannot remove the gold. Do you have any suggestions or are my moulds ruined?
No the molds aren't ruined at all! You need to clean them with some alcohol probably in order to remove the gold! Make sure it is food safe 200 proof ethanol
@@BrittneeKay thank you so much for getting back to me so fast I also sent you a message in the other edible gold paint video about using activators for people with Citrus allergies. And sometimes some of those products will have an issue with the lemon extract or Citrus juice sugar or in particular they're pink food coloring doesn't do well with lemon juicer extract it makes it a little weird
No problem! Ohhhh interesting, I've never heard of that! Yes if you want to do without the lemon extract you can use vodka or everclear!@@kerrimcintyre6427
Thanks for the video. The Jenna Ray one is coming up to super expensive for me to get and amaury guichon website says its for decorations only. Not edible
You're welcome! Yeah...the Jenna Rae one is so so good but kinda pricey! I buy the large size to make it worth the shipping cost and it lasts forever! I recommend Roxy & Rich or Fancy Sprinkles as two other good options!
I haven't, I have heard that it works well but when I look it up it is labeled as "non-toxic" not edible. So I would use that for decorations on things that would be removed but not eaten. I wouldn't use it for chocolate or fondant or cookies!
Thanks! That is a good suggestion however, the only one I find to have more than basic colors and be readily available (at least in the U.S.) is Roxy & Rich! : ) So I think I already know the winner! 😃
haha I know! I wish there were more to choose from, it seems like there aren't many! That's why I find pre-colored cocoa butter just so much easier to use and I like having more options!@@kerrimcintyre6427
In which part? For painting the chocolate I use just a random round brush I have from a set, I can't remember or see in the video which one it is. It's a medium round brush. For the dusting I use a large soft round brush: amzn.to/3J2HJyh
This is great. After watching your video I went back and looked at some of the brands that had initially popped up as inedible. And I'm now finding those brands have both edible and inedible options. The oh sweet Art have both but the one that is absolutely inedible from their brand is the highlighter. But it shows also that they don't have FDA seal of approval very interesting. Definitely confusing.
Ohh interesting! Yes I am sure maybe some of these brands are coming out with "edible" ones now...but I bet those aren't their most popular colors because they are never quite as pretty! haha But yeah that is for sure weird about the FDA seal...very confusing!
Which brand is your favorite for the fondant and chocolate?! ✨ Do you know of any other awesome edible brands?
Jenna Rae was the best on both surfaces. I imagine it would also airbrush flawlessly.
Can’t wait to try it in the airbrush!!!
@brittneekay keep making video you are doing great... don't worry about the views. Best of luck. Lots of love from India
Thank you!! ☺️☺️
Wow, they really are very diffrent... nice side by side comparison. Nicely Done!
Thank you! 🤩🤩

Can we paint one and the use one like the PCB over the top of the Bakell to make it more glitter like?
Yeah I’m sure you can!!

Brittnee, can I paint the dazzle dust in the chocolate molds? Wondering if it will transfer. Aloha
It will yes! 😃

I prefer the third gold (not sure of the brand), but none of the silvers were good, IMO.
Yeah I wish the silver options were better!!
