If you have decided not to evacuate, just put on your raincoat and stand beside a reporter. You'll be fine.

Anyone know the "sustained" wind speed in Daytona at it's peak? They only post "gusts" peak speed. Thanks!

I believe sustained was 65mph with peak gust of 90-100.

I want to thank that great Governor down there that after hurricane Ian hit that I was in he had a year and a half to fix that wall and he did nothing from the 900 block of Atlantic avenue all the way down he did nothing after a year and a half in Daytona just like this storm but more powerful Daytona was on the back edge back of the storm like Ian unbelievable whether you leave or not now that there's no wall to protect them buildings that were already damaged the homes and condos are now going to be catastrophic and it already was devastating and you wonder why there's going to be catastrophic damage is because the great Governor down there did nothing and you wonder why insurance is so high down there and he did nothing about the insurance problem down there neither unbelievable he's more concerned about wasting 9 million dollars on election fraud and found three in the whole state of Florida and two of them are Trump supporters disgraceful Ian was a monster and all that rhubarb and wall that was totally destroyed was not fixed at all now you have nothing to protect any of that water going into the houses in the streets disgraceful
