I am a Christian and my problem with Lori is that she is too judgmental of women on every topic which isn’t how Christ would handle this. For example, she bashes women for going to college but doesn’t get on to the fathers who put pressure on their daughters to go. She doesn’t examine root causes and blames women for everything and talks to us like we are awful creatures. How is she helping men find mates by convincing them we are a lost cause? Also, she deletes comments from women who disagree but allows men to come on and nag and stick their tongues out at women like “see, you women need to do better “. Christ wouldn’t support this either. Men have their own shortcomings and instead of poking around a blog directed at women, they should be listening to male Christian counselors to help fix their own sins. If she speaks to a group of women in a church, are the men allowed to stand in the back and clap every time women get condemned?
Smart, loving women like you remind me that there are good Christians out there - they’re just never the most shrieky or self-righteous. I commented on of Lori’s posts after she proselytised about how ‘good’ Christian men wanted women who were submissive, and forgiving of everything, including child abuse. I asked how that was working out for Anna Duggar and she blocked me.
I have read your articles on Pathos and all the Quivering full. You gave very helpful information. I used to read Lori’s Always Learning. I stopped when she had a guest post from a husband who felt he had the right to discipline his wife.. She apparently was not submissive, was rebellious. He even said he prayed, but that didn’t work. Thankfully my dad, a wise and Godly man helped me in this confusion. Thats when I found you articles. Saw the truth of her views. Thank goodness I didn’t get sucked in.
If that spark isn’t automatically there for me it’s never gonna grow. There’s no amount of time or forcing it that will make it happen. As someone who talks about how important pleasing your husband is I would think there would need to be a mutual attraction.
Hi Suzanne! I hope you & Jim are doing well. That is very coincidental you made this video today because I have been meaning to ask you if you know how she’s been doing. I don’t even bother watching her videos and I see her Twitter or IG posts. If they pop up, I keep on scrolling. she’s getting even more, well you know, and I don’t know if that’s her actual beliefs, her genuine thoughts or both. xoxo from NJ!

Apparently they all think in many Evangelical circles that the spark is overrated.

I have a question. Is Lori evangelican or catholic or what is she?
Lori Alexander and her husband have attended almost entirely non-denominational Evangelical churches.
@@suzannetitkemeyernlq thank you for your answer, I was wondering 😃
@@suzannetitkemeyernlq I thought she was Reformed/Calvnist. Thanks.
I just thought she was nuts.
