    Very nice JP. That spalted beech really had some great figure and the spirit stains didn't cover that up. Nice shape as well.

    Great job. Love the colors and the way the black lines are when it’s spalted. That lathe did you justice. You definitely got your money’s worth out of it. It’s hard to say goodbye to an old friend, especially since you know how it works so well.. But on to bigger and better things. Maybe it’s time for the new intro with the new lathe 😂.. 🍻👍

      @jpwoodwork  Год назад +1

      Thank you, i wouldnt recommend sharpening them if im honest, i would rather just get a fresh cutter, ok i would recommend getting the Mid size set (Ci2,Ci3 and Ci4) and also the mid size No1 hollower(ci5) if t is possible for you to do so..... if you have any questions in the future, be sure to reach out, thanks JP

    • @jpwoodwork
      @jpwoodwork  Год назад +1

      If you have carbide tip then just get replacement tips, if you have gouges see if you can find someone or a service that can sharpen them for you, don’t go buying a new set of tools

      I don’t sell carbide tools, I just use them, and plenty of woodturners are using them….Mainly for deep hollowing
