Learn the Saunter Together sequence dance for fun at home

James & Joanna take you through the Saunter Together sequence dance, showing the complete breakdown of steps with pointers, and a run through with the music in a small space.
This popular sequence dance was choreographed in 1975 by Bob & Winn Oliver and has a lovely sauntering/foxtrot feel to it.

I have been Ballroom Dancing on and off since I was a teenager. I am now 61 and still dancing strong. Recently I started visiting a new daytime class and social for the over 50’s in Australia where they cover a whole range of New Vogue/Sequence dances that are not in the Ballroom examination scheme. Here I found myself only knowing about 1 on 5 of the New Vogue/Sequence dances. Now I am trying to master one new dance sequence per week by teaching myself online.
One of the dances previously unknown to me was the Saunter Together. Your instructions and break down of the dance proved to be most helpful. Your instructions to the Catherine Waltz also proved to be indispensable.

Aged 76 I have just begun to learn Modern sequence dancing after having only done the absolutely rudiments of ballroom some 60 years ago. I’m loving it, but get so muddled! Your videos are brilliant. All the moves broken down into small chunks and explained and practised so well. PLEASE, PLEASE could you do a few more modern sequence dances? I can’t be the only one who would find them so useful.
