Robert driest Awesome! It was an amazing bike I really loved mine. Nothing like a big V-Twin to put a smile on your face. Glad you enjoyed the video! Cheers
The first gen Tuono is great. Love riding mine. Keep looking out for electric problems (battery getting drained slightly under the needed starting voltage) and stick to the oil exchange cycles recommended by Aprilia or do them even more often. If you mostly stick to regular roads I can't recommend Pirellis Angel GT enough for this bike, falls into the corners right like you need it. Also going for a 180 rear makes a lot of a difference to the 190, especially on the slower twisties. If you prefer performance stick to the original exhaust or go with a full Akrapovic (€€€), if you prefer looks and sound go with Leo Vince, mivv or similar. Have fun ;)
Thanks for all the advice! Very much appreciated! The bike is running like a champ after its first service and hasn't set a foot wrong. It does need a tune though as it is quite heavy on fuel. Only managing around 130kms on the tank before the light comes on. So will need to have that looked at. I'll more than likely stick with the stock exhaust as the look as actually grown on me but the pipe is super heavy. Easily 25kgs. Next on the list is, collector pipe mod, Gabro chip, airbox mod and a dyno tune.
Nice ride dude! The hooter thing seems to be a Aprilia thing. Did it loads of times when I just got my motard. Aprilia parts can be a bit of a bitch in SA but will send you some details on where I get most of mine.
Great video👍🏻 I bought mine 16 month ago. Loving it to bits!😎
Congrats with the new bike! May she give you many miles of joy
Thank you! :D
Congrats on the new bike! Looks neat and the torque from the twin is always addictive :)

Congrats! I owned an 03' Tuono R and now have a 04' Factory.

Still have it? How was it? :-)
@@sund5 Sold it and bought a Streetfighter V4S. The Tuono was great though. No regrets owning 2 of them.

Finding neutral on these bikes can be a pain sometimes, its easier when the bike is full warm tho :P
Yeah once its going and warmed up its not so hard. :)
Nice ride mate!
Have fun and be safe out there!
Thanks man :)
I wouldn't have considered this a better alternative for commuting, but it should be an awesome bike.
Nice video. If you have a chance please could you do a video on your helmet setup? Sena/GoPro adapter etc etc and some prices and where you got it :)
Thanks man. Yeah Ill do a video on that soon since I've changed up my whole setup now and gone with a chin mount.
finding neutral is when your rolling to a stop it clicks right in nicely....if your at a light already stopped...good luck...LOLOL:
Awesome bike man!
Thanks very much :D

I find that finding neutral is tricky
Yeah the hydraluic clutch has quite a strong vacuum. I find going into 2nd and then tapping down into neutral to be the easisest way.
Nice video. What is the top speed in first gear?
thanks! First gear is quite short and probably maxes out at around 70-80kph or so.
Alright, thanks!
I got a question, is Tuono also named RSV? Because I'm having hard time searching RSV1000R(supersports) intead of Tuono
Dark Rider very Nice bike. I will buy the same bike but 2005 next week :-) are you happy with it?
