Love this. Donnie is one man that I would love to sit down with and just talk for hours. I’m hopeful that happens. Thank you Brian for having him on, I enjoyed the conversation.
I really enjoy this podcast, I have listened to many of them but this one kind of hit home for particularly with the part about shot panic. I have Hunted 8 years with my bow and this year started off like all the others did practicing a lot and then going out in the field and hunting. During practice I did amazing but for some reason this year I missed a lot of shots that I should never have missed and now I have a way different perspective on what I got going on and what I might do to work on it to make it go away thank you very much gentleman
I absolutely love the outdoors, im a fishing junkie, but hunting has been a hard one for me though. My biggest hurdle has been the act of taking an animals life. I do enjoy eating meat, so I could not go the vegetarian or vegan route, its just not for me. But I am extremely turned off with factory farming and buying meat from the grocery store. I absolutely love animals, so killing one is the hardest thing for me. But listening to Donnie and his take on hunting is helping me to reconsider hunting. I see it in a whole new light. I love hearing how he cares for and respects animals the way he does. I want to get into hunting for the sole purpose of not buying meat from the grocery store, but I want to do it in the most respectful and responsible way possible. Im not looking to just fill the freezer if you know what I mean. Its gonna be hard for me to take the life of an animal, thats gonna be a hard thing for me to deal with. But all in all, I really enjoyed this episode.
The whole public praivte thing I see no issue with being curious. I enjoy seeing success anyway but denying the obvious in terms of having 300 plus bills running everywhere on a ranch isnt reality. It is awesome but not reality for many. I see no issue with wanting to know.
Cool interview can't get enough

1:01:57 Oh God! That comment didn't age well...

Great talk! 👊
The Aron video was cut off, are you going to post the rest on youtube?
This dude is rad though
Some would say he’s the “Tip Of The Broadhead”...not to be confused with...”The Cream Of The Crop”. 😉🤘🏻😎
