@calebmenker988 Wrong. The bots on Rigorous almost never miss when they shoot at you. And they almost always penetrate too. Less reinforcements + aimbotting opponents = damn near impossible to win.
It's just too dang hard. I tried everything (obviously I haven't found these "not shoot the JPanther strat and such"), sequence breaks with dropping nukes on barely in range bunkers... always got my ass handled... And sometimes, when I play safe, my allies charge in and when they're dead (the third time I think) I lose... very fun... :/ So I have to replay this "fun mode", because of the missions. So overall, I liked, the setting, the voicelines... but the 10th time it's not so fun anymore... Thanks QB for the guide, will fire the game up again, and try it this way :)
1. When on beach, try targeting bunkers once second artilerry strike targets you. Be precise so your ships can shoot them. 2. No need to push sherman crab, just stand very near minefield and rush. 3. Rush that next spot so you get pz to spawn, kill one and then start shooting bunker 3 times. 4. Bomb pz that stands to a rock near that bunker you needed to shoot 3 times. 5. Rush stug, track it and farm it. Then RUSH bunker and track that other stug, farm him and THEN FARM PZs. 6. RUSH next bunker kill and once again, track stug and farm. 7. RUSH next bunker where feench tanks arrive, bomb it and help as much as you can to your heavy(especially tracking dmg). 8. RUSH that bunker with jagpanther wihtout shooting once(he will start turning but will stop) 9. RUSH NEXT BUNKER TO BOMB ASAP. 10. ONCE AGAIN RUSH THAT BUG BUNKER. 11. STAY NEAR BIG BUNKER AND BE VERY MOBILE AND AGGRO.(time bombards) 12. Easy win.
@@imma5761 Before step 7 I'd recommend to instead climb the hill by driving diagonally on the less steep part of the edge, then bomb the bunker with the JPanther first. After doing that you'll receive the 2nd smoke and you can bomb the bunker next to the french ally very quickly. Completely ignore the PZs rushing down because the french tank can kill them. Focus on approaching the last bunker asap. If you're quick, you can reach before the french tank kills the PZs, so you'll have time to focus on killing the bunkers before the enemies spawn. Just don't sit behind the big bunker, because the enemies will spawn right ontop of you and melt you.
Totally agree with you. I tried a couple of times and failed ofc, so I'm not motivated at all to do these missions. As you said QB, this game mode should be fun and easy, not frustrating and wanting to delete the game and break my keyboard and mouse :)
here's something interesting: i did the mission without dying once, and that somehow bypassed the 15 minute rule and gave me all the rewards (i did it in around 16 minutes) don't go for less than 15 minutes, go for zero deaths
i works!! just play safe and dont die!! i did it in more then 17 minutes ang got all rewards.. p.s.: i tried it a second time and then i failed.. 12 min left.. maybe it works only one time or its a bug
It's because WG made a micropatch about 1-2 days ago, in which they fixed the rewards (some being given only 1 piece of camo as rewards before that fix) and made the "15 minutes" mission easier, though they didn't change it in the mission list. Finished mine in 16 minutes, got that mission done.
Best I did was 17ish minutes, but damn, I gotta retry this tonight, Thanks for the vid. I think they should have made it 17 minutes because all my friends didn't make it.
Its just requires you to actually play aggro and move. Mode is not hard, its just not made for old boomers with inability to react properly or push the pace

if you kill the last tank before the 15 minute timer it still counts even though the timer goes below 15 and ends, i got my last kill at 15:02 and the timer stopped at 14:48 and still got the mission done
At 7:12 you can climb up the hill on the left, and nuke the Bunker in the center early, then you will unlock the second nuke early, which saves a lot of time

Tbh, for me it was bigger problem finishing with no deaths, but the 15 minute run I didn't even use the exploits, you have 3 tanks and if you used your airstrikes you don't care if you died because your main damage against panthers and bunkers are the airstrikes, not you shooting at them... I do agree 15minutes is too low, I did it on the first run in 14:30 and I was sweating at the long time it took for it to actually declare my victory xD
I was kinda hoping that the event played in part with the events after dday. Would have been cool if they added a new map for Carentan and then had the next set of missions there.
The last 15 seconds count in the endgame stats, but the mission timer ends when the last enemy dies. There's a guide on RUclips where the guy killed the last Panther at 15:02 and he got the mission.
Took me 3 tries to get the first mission done, but I did both of the harder missions first try :D It was pretty close though, had like 10 seconds left. Yu really have to hit the panthers on the first try, so there's quite a bit of luck involved too
This game mode is something else... The first mission was easy, and when the second mission came with "Don't lose a tank" I was like "Eh, possible, gonna give it a try on hard". I didn't even make it to the small sand dunes in the beginning and I already lost 50% of my HP and my engine from the bunkers...
Rest time 14:42 i have win this challange . Thanks for help. Meine Restzeit war 14:42 ich hab die 15 Minuten Aufgabe trotzdem geschafft😉 Danke für die guten Tipps.
Tbh i prefer this kind of event were is like a challenge that you need to complete instead of a mindless 40Hrs grind But i can understand that most people just wanna chill and have some fun driving a tank around WG should do with these kind of events like they did with the tank marathons back in the days where you have 2 ways to complete a stage either you complete a challenge or you grind a certain amount of exp that way most of the people should be happy also maybe add more maps so it doesn't get boring that fast but that's just my opinion :)
The ally bots will sometimes just sit there at the end and not do anything; also they are doing a server maintenance today related to this and are gonna make this easier
Spot on QB, I thought there would be different battles such as moving inland to the battle of caen mabe, so to play this beach battle over again in under 15 minutes, and with 1 tank to complete bonus missions is to much, no fun not going to bother with it, what a shame !!!!
Thanks QB, this is a dog if a mission and it is pissing me off. Wasting too much time and energy on it. I have the Tiger131 now so not too worried about the Panther😁
I was disappointed that it was only bonus missions, and really hard ones at that. I had hoped for a follow-up scenario further in-land. But there are some good tips in here that might help do the trick the next time I try.
WG have perfected the lets make it complicated'', apart from spending money. I started back in 2012, the game was simple, and fun. It was a joy to spend time in. Then corridor maps appeared, graphics improved which was nice, but every iteration, new thing, has made it less fun, and more like a job to keep up. For the casual 'lets blow some **** up' days have gone. Still enjoy your vids though QB, thank you
After several attempts I concluded it pretty near impossible to get the victory in 15 mins. QB has virtually confirmed this, at least for my skill level. Obviously, it couldn't have been easy in reality on D day and there would only have been one chance and none to learn any nuance of enemy (model) behaviour. Which makes the WoT challenge a bit too unrealistic. I guess it would have been too expensive for WoT to model subsequent challenges, at battles further inland from the beachhead, rather than setting time limits for the same battle.
At this point I'm convinced that there is a dedicated "Anti-Fun Department" at WG. Why not just have a fun (subjective) little mode for people to enjoy? No, we have to add missions that require (borderline) exploits, speed run strats and good RNG. I expected the two missions to be the same but with the other battle pas tanks (maybe from a slightly different PoV).
Tried after watching this on the stream, part of the BS is just the general inaccuracy of the A1 gun. 3:01 During one run I wasted 20 seconds trying to aim for the inland bunker that gets destroyed by the spitfire from the airstrike The first 4 bunkers have a weak spot. If you consistently hit it the destroyer barrage does full damage, but you need to fire at it at least twice otherwise the destroyer will cease fire The easy mode is more forgiving, I did both on the first try. The battleship arty also drops in 4 seconds after placing down instead of 6
I'm surprised QB managed it in time despite losing A LOT of precious time. I've seen a couple tricks from another CC that allow you to save some time by focusing on having the bombardments earlier. - Get 2nd arti ealier: after destroying the first bunker and JPanther close to it, and destroying the sneaky Stug, you can actually make the climb a little after. This allows you to drop a clean arti on the central bunker (all while destroying the JPanther) which grants you the 2nd arti, which you can quickly use to clean the last bunker close to the ARL alley - Get 3rd arti earlier: Shortly after the previous step, at which you have 2 artis, on their next reload focus the bigger bunker behind. You need 2 strickes, but you have them. This will grant you the third strike, which you can use to destroy the very last bunker. This should eventually trigger the next waves of tanks earlier In the end, what might take you the longest is to clean the tanks, especially manage to strike the Panthers fast
I would say that they should give everything when they reach the final part and it doesn't matter if they die, the important thing is to complete the 15 minutes, then in the other game they no longer worry about time and survive.
Kept finishing it with 13-14 minutes left, and totally gave up after spending waaaaay too much time on this mode. I will give it another go after watching QB, especially after seeing where I was losing time.
They have added an extra minute to do this BUT they also made the AI a bit more smarter, now they will avoid artillery markers once you place them at least from my experience.
My second eldest Son has been playing tanks since it's inception....he LOATHES the missions, says the bots are pure stupidity and that it's pretty much impossible to get through....however, I'm going to have him watch this for some possible trips as I've not seen his attempts from across the room lolz, I'll also be retrying, noobie style, with the maneuvers that I saw you do.
I did it first try without dying, its not too hard you just need to know how to do it, you can save a lot of time if you do a boost in the middle, I think that it’s a good thing if it provides some challenge.
Is the only difference between Regular and Rigorous just the lives? I seem to do Regular okay within 3 [when I have 5] lives but trying Rigorous I get my lives eaten up (or time out and lose trying to look after them)
I like the challenge but I agree with you. The average player (I am little better than average) will not find this attainable. I have not finished it in under 15 but I am enjoying the challenge.
Yeah already try it and according to me I ended the mission at 14:57 so the run off took over and I ended at 15:09, opened a ticket about it. WG response "nope you suck". Yeah...I think I'm going to leave it there for now, as I have better thing to do with my time. Happy Fathers Day everyone.
Yeah, even as a okish player (2x Legend) this crossed the line from difficult into annoying. The part that I find really frustrating is the missions just feels lazy especially when compared to Warships which despite having a smaller Dev team managed to create 3 different PVE missions for the anniversary.
Actually I am happy to make it in time in normal difficulty. Might be able to do it in hard as well, but I think I am better of just playing the game to progress the battle pass and have fun instead of wasting hours to try to get every task for theses missions done. And especially the start feels a bit frustrating without this trick because the small earth or sand "walls" are not high enough to cover, and even if you keep moving all the time you get hit every once in a while.
you got that right. I'm a 53% winrate player and I gave up. It's way too hard. I really like the mode, but if you need to play over and over and not succeeding, it's back to randoms for me...
But ordinary players should opt for a 'regular' mission, as it is easier since the enemies don't shoot that well. In my second battle, I completed both 2 extra missions in the regular battle.

Also you will waste 16 seconds on missed shots for the first hill top bunker if you try to snipe it. It is easy to avoid damage from it if you stick to the cliff side. You can also kill all 4 panthers in a battle ship strike if you stick to the left side at the end. They have a rally point on the left side of the bunker and they will all group up.
Doing this on Rigorous difficulty is basically impossible. Even the "normal" difficulty is a giant pain in the ass.
The only difference between the two is the number of respawns available
@calebmenker988 Wrong. The bots on Rigorous almost never miss when they shoot at you. And they almost always penetrate too. Less reinforcements + aimbotting opponents = damn near impossible to win.
@@nephalos666 ah, my mistake, I guess I didn't notice when I tried it on regular
8. RUSH that bunker with jagpanther wihtout shooting once(he will start turning but will stop)
9. RUSH NEXT BUNKER TO BOMB ASAP.
10. ONCE AGAIN RUSH THAT BUG BUNKER.
11. STAY NEAR BIG BUNKER AND BE VERY MOBILE AND AGGRO.(time bombards)
I did not have any issue doing this in under 15 minutes on the hard mode
Totally agree with you. I tried a couple of times and failed ofc, so I'm not motivated at all to do these missions. As you said QB, this game mode should be fun and easy, not frustrating and wanting to delete the game and break my keyboard and mouse :)
here's something interesting: i did the mission without dying once, and that somehow bypassed the 15 minute rule and gave me all the rewards (i did it in around 16 minutes)
don't go for less than 15 minutes, go for zero deaths
doesnt work...did it on easy mode, first try no deaths in 15.45 and only got 1 mission done
Same here. Had 14:30 mins left with no deaths. Gave me the timed reward and i already had no deaths reward
Same thing happened to me yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised
i works!! just play safe and dont die!! i did it in more then 17 minutes ang got all rewards..
p.s.: i tried it a second time and then i failed..
Mode is not hard, its just not made for old boomers with inability to react properly or push the pace
ripbozo
If you are have trouble doing it in 15 minutes. Watch Sahm Lockhart video on how to do it instead. Was able to do if first try. Some of the thing QB does cost a lot of time. Shooting in between the bottom front of the panther turrets and the hull is an instant kill
if you kill the last tank before the 15 minute timer it still counts even though the timer goes below 15 and ends, i got my last kill at 15:02 and the timer stopped at 14:48 and still got the mission done
At 7:12 you can climb up the hill on the left, and nuke the Bunker in the center early, then you will unlock the second nuke early, which saves a lot of time
where? there isnt a single bit there i can find that lets you go up completly nor any that gets you close enough
@@zorgfleeter QB did that in his last video in this mode, you could check that out
at 7:14 you can climb up the ridge and go for that bunker on top immediately. Then go over to the south bunker

Thx for the video @Quickybaby, gonna try it once i've done my daily's :)
Thx QB it helped sooooo much:)
Thank u qb u helped me so much!
I was kinda hoping that the event played in part with the events after dday. Would have been cool if they added a new map for Carentan and then had the next set of missions there.
"It's suicide standing out in the open like sitting ducks"
QuickyBaby 3 seconds into the game:
The last 15 seconds count in the endgame stats, but the mission timer ends when the last enemy dies. There's a guide on RUclips where the guy killed the last Panther at 15:02 and he got the mission.
That jpanther + bunker middle exploit was a part I was missing
they just changed to 16 minutes and I got the mission now!! lolsss... thanks QB
Meine Restzeit war 14:42 ich hab die 15 Minuten Aufgabe trotzdem geschafft😉
Danke für die guten Tipps.
Thanks QB
Tbh i prefer this kind of event were is like a challenge that you need to complete instead of a mindless 40Hrs grind
But i can understand that most people just wanna chill and have some fun driving a tank around
WG should do with these kind of events like they did with the tank marathons back in the days where you have 2 ways to complete a stage either you complete a challenge or you grind a certain amount of exp that way most of the people should be happy also maybe add more maps so it doesn't get boring that fast but that's just my opinion :)
The ally bots will sometimes just sit there at the end and not do anything; also they are doing a server maintenance today related to this and are gonna make this easier
Thanks to you, it's clear!
Wasting too
much time and energy on it. I have the Tiger131 now so not too worried about the Panther😁
This may have been the first time in a while that QB has sworn on his YT channel
Im happy I got the beginning same as you :D
I was disappointed that it was only bonus missions, and really hard ones at that. I had hoped for a follow-up scenario further in-land. But there are some good tips in here that might help do the trick the next time I try.
Was too hard for me. Just made me rage. Had to stop playing that game mode.
Thanks, I don't feel so bad now, I found the rigours mode to hard and not enjoyable. But at least now I might stand a chance.
You know a mission is hard when even QB is struggling and gets lucky in some scenarios
Tried after watching this on the stream, part of the BS is just the general inaccuracy of the A1 gun. 3:01 During one run I wasted 20 seconds trying to aim for the inland bunker that gets destroyed by the spitfire from the airstrike
The first 4 bunkers have a weak spot. If you consistently hit it the destroyer barrage does full damage, but you need to fire at it at least twice otherwise the destroyer will cease fire
The easy mode is more forgiving, I did both on the first try. The battleship arty also drops in 4 seconds after placing down instead of 6
7:50 for anyone that does this, the bunker doesn't reload quickly. You can drive right past it after it shoots Dubois.
This allows you to drop a clean arti on the central bunker (all while destroying the JPanther) which grants you the 2nd arti, which you can quickly use to clean the last bunker close to the ARL alley
- Get 3rd arti earlier: Shortly after the previous step, at which you have 2 artis, on their next reload focus the bigger bunker behind. You need 2 strickes, but you have them. This will grant you the third strike, which you can use to destroy the very last bunker. This should eventually trigger the next waves of tanks earlier
In the end, what might take you the longest is to clean the tanks, especially manage to strike the Panthers fast
thanks for the guide man
Finally did every mission for normal and vigorous gotta say 15 minute vigorous was more difficult than doing vigorous with not a single life destroyed
Thats great QB, now do it again but with no lives lost on Rigorous difficulty
My recommendation is to do it twice on rigorous, once without dying and once in
I would say that they should give everything when they reach the final part and it doesn't matter if they die, the important thing is to complete the 15 minutes, then in the other game they no longer worry about time and survive.
Kept finishing it with 13-14 minutes left, and totally gave up after spending waaaaay too much time on this mode. I will give it another go after watching QB, especially after seeing where I was losing time.
After 50 attempts, I was able to finish the mission in 15 minutes. It's really quite difficult. At first I thought the problem was me.
My problem wasn't running out of time or me being killed....most of my
gameplay was over because my allies all died in the last fight.
Yeah I think the bonus missions are pretty much impossible for most people without a guide and some good rng
They have added an extra minute to do this BUT they also made the AI a bit more smarter, now they will avoid artillery markers once you place them at least from my experience.
Good Guide! 15min is ok.
You actually can finish exactly exactly above 15:01 as that was the time i got on my third try and it gave me the reward.
According to what you get, it should be 20mins and you can loose 1 tank. That is doable. My personal best is 16minutes, and it was really tough...
The events happen predictably so its easy to optimize your run, ive managed to do it in sub 14 minutes
Is the only difference between Regular and Rigorous just the lives?
I seem to do Regular okay within 3 [when I have 5] lives but trying Rigorous I get my lives eaten up (or time out and lose trying to look after them)
I think the timing of the batteries is also harder because it takes around 2 seconds longer? At least thats what it felt like.
The enemy artillery barrage is also more frequent at the start. Don't know if anything else is different tho.
I like the challenge but I agree with you. The average player (I am little better than average) will not find this attainable. I have not finished it in under 15 but I am enjoying the challenge.
I can't finish it (skill shortage on my part) but I do enjoy it 🙂
дякую за інфо. будемо пробувати поліпшити досягнення )
After you killed everything, you have to wait more enemies to spawn and there is a time limit?
I had no issues with finishing within the time limit. But I can’t beat it without losing a tank.
Yeah, even as a okish player (2x Legend) this crossed the line from difficult into annoying. The part that I find really frustrating is the missions just feels lazy especially when compared to Warships which despite having a smaller Dev team managed to create 3 different PVE missions for the anniversary.
Giving it this a rest. Even easy more is too hard. Need 3 more minutes at least for my not-too-bad level.
Did it first try but got it within 1 second, and I was definitely sweating
I archieved it with ammoracking a jgd panther, 2 panthers and 3 pz4. It was also then when i did this with only one tank and pure luck
