Thanks for making this video & featuring the original North “Pole” at 5th Avenue Park. There’s a fascinating story behind this marker, & its twin which was dropped at the Earth’s North Pole in 1951. My mom, entertainer Carolina Cotton, was part of the event. If you look her up online there’s lots of pics & details of the whole Pole history.
I wish it really was a TRUE XMAS TOWN but the money for it isn’t there…😞😢we got the candy cane light poles…😉 The water is not good…and it really should be bigger and less depressing if they had the money and investment in making a true Christmas Town…it’s a DREAM.

I'm not sure honestly, I know I have Irish an Dutch heritage on my father's side of the family.
