    This is a les paul type guitar right? Did you install the tremolo? You play beautifully! Congratulations!

      It's a Burny Les Paul. It comes with the tremelo installed. Amazing guitar!

    Wow man you used that sustaniac so musically. I love how the guitar isn't even that distorted and the restraint on the gain setting. The floyd and the sustaniac with low gain really made this an experience. Well done.

    Hi Mark, beautiful and exquisite, as always! Is there a sustain pickup in there, you have one now? May I ask what the guitar is? Great job!

    • @MarkKlett
      @MarkKlett  2 года назад

      Yes, you're correct! It's a Burny Les Paul, with a floyd rose and sustainer pickups. I think it's an RLC-105s.

    Very subtle playing 👌🏻
    I also noticed you play the Les Paul more lately. The first video I saw from you was with the Halo custom guitar with the Evertune bridge. You said sort of that you never go back to a normal bridge again. Do you still think that way? Me personally like the concept of an Evertune but something is saying to me not to use one. The reason is that a guitar is a stubborn instrument. It has character by its imperfection. An Evertune takes away the character and makes the guitar sound more like a piano.

      Thank you, that's a great question and I'm happy to answer. Looking back, when I reviewed the guitar, I was still in the excited phase and didn't have enough time with it to have a full opinion. The bridge was nice and worked very well. It was a great tool for recording, as it truly did stay in tune. However, the overall feel of the guitar seemed off to me somehow and it had other issues that made me not fall in love with it after some time. I found that the Les Paul really connected with me and now it's really the only guitar I care to play. I also think that if you set up a guitar carefully and thoughtfully, it will stay in tune very well and will feel really good to play. The Halo is a cool guitar and I still have it but my heart wants to play the Les Paul 95% of the time:)

      @@MarkKlett thank you for your honest answer, Mark. Perhaps you can make a new review video about it. I’m curious about your insights 🙏
      I also had a LP, Goldtop. It has its own unique tone and feel. Also there is no belly cut making the guitar more comfortable to play IMO. The guitar then stays in a straight angle so your left wrist doesn’t have to curl up so much which is more ergonomic. With Halo you can delete the belly cut which is very nice. But about the Evertune, yeah for recording it’s super handy but overall it makes the guitar sound sterile also. It transforms the guitar in something unnatural because the strings don’t make that ‘clang’ sound i.e. going slightly out sharp when hitting hard. But for playing chords it is perfect 👌🏻

      @@MarkKlett another thing I want to add to the Evertune story is that because ot doesn’t go sharp no matter how hard you hit it also diminishes the ‘chug effect’. I clearly hear the difference that chugging metal tones sound far more aggressive on a normal style bridge. And that’s what we want. The Evertune makes everything flat killing of the lively vibes

    I am very happy to be back at the MK Chill Spot for this one. Had a smile on my face from the first hanging note. Love your interpretation - there's something about an orchestra accompanying an electric instrument that really makes a solo arrangement stand out. You added a couple of dashes of hot sauce to a somber (but beautiful) piece and ramped up the heat from a Pablano to a Habanero. One day we will see the San Francisco Symphony accompanying you too 😊 Thanks for posting!!

      Haha that was one of the most fun and colorful comments I've ever received! I'm glad you appreciated the spices thrown in there. That would be amazing to play with a real symphony like that. What a transcendental experience that would be! I'll keep putting extra mustard on these arrangements, and maybe one day, we'll get there!

      @@MarkKlett One of my all time favorites is Metallica playing Nothing Else Matters live with the San Francisco Symphony. ruclips.net/video/Q93n3dvaaTI/видео.html When you ramped up the strings in your arrangement, some parts reminded me of their epic performance. Keep doing what you're doing, one day you'll not only play with an orchestra but it will be your arrangement - I'm sure of that!
