Wow those were just some outstanding beauties! Such amazing colors and textures and some of those nodules were just gorgeous! The banding and the patterns that the beautiful ribbons of chalcedony that flow over them all! And those fire agates are really gorgeous! So many! And some really big ones! Wow! And again julie, you out did yourself on the rock reveal! Awesome video! Thanks Brian and Julie!💕
Thank you very much Lisa! We were quite surprised by the variety we found. Every time Brian cut a rock and I hear him hooting… I knew it was going to be a good one.😂 I was hoping the rock reveal wouldn’t be too long that people wouldn’t get bored.😂 BTW, Did Ken share with you the pictures he took of the agate you sent to him….🤯🤯 Mindblowing!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️❤️ I made one of them my background on my laptop!😄
@AZRockhoundExpeditions I saw it! Wasn't it amazing!?! What a mind-blowingly beautiful agate anyways, but under the microscope, it gets even better! All the rocks you guys find, are like that! It's like biting into a chocolate bar,and finding a layer of the yummiest filling, be it peanut butter or something else we weren't expecting, making that the best chocolate bar ever!
We have had fun at round mountain several times. We love the mix of white and brown red lines when cut. Beautiful pendants.😊 Your lighting and motion on the reveals is stunning. Super job. The black hills are fun too, but we perfer round mountain for the white swirley cuts that you get. Heep having fun. Stay healthy and safe.😷⚒🤗
Thank you! I think we prefer Round Mountain as well. We were only at Black hills for about 1 1/2 hours, but spent 3 days exploring Round Mountain. The white feathers and whisps in the agates are so pretty.🤩
Thanks for hosting the outing to Round Mountain..it was great to meat everyone and poke around the hills. Looks like you guys killed it!! It's a good thing Brian was a fire fighter, cuz there's lots of fire in some of those pieces!! 🤪
Sad I missed the premier. We have been dealing with a lot of stress and drama in life. This looks like it will be a great episode to watch and relax with! I’m so excited for this! I would love to come out in the spring and collect fire agates! 11:53 bots in bots in bots in… 😂 13:52 this is absolutely insane! 19:02 oh that looks like it’s definitely hiding some fire!
I know life gets crazy, Hope you are doing okay! Let us know when you are coming down here and we can plan to make a trip happen! Let’s get you some fire agate!😃🙌🏼
Those were some very nice finds. I would love to be able to go to Arizona and perhaps join you on one of your expeditions. In the meantime thanks for the tempting visual's, they are greatly appreciated. 👍
Totally enjoy your hunt for my most favorite agate! The rock reveal left me with my mouth hanging open in amazement of your finds! This will be one of the places that when i visit I will probably never want to leave! Just awesome beauty and the best eye candy for my brain!
Thank you! Funny story about the Chalcedony shark. We found it early in the day, then left it behind. We had to go back into a field, close to dark, figure out where we were, and fight a herd of cows over it.🤣
Just found your channel. Love it you both have me hooked. I love fire agates. Sending you airhugs of positive loving energy to you and yours. From Central Oregon
I love your finds, I go to this place all the time. It’s hard to find fire 🔥 ❗️the banded agate is some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen❗️there is much better in this area ‼️wish I had met y’all before you went out. Excellent video ‼️ thank you for promoting my area. It’s rock hound heaven🙏 oh tumble the opals in the opal beds they are awesome❗️

I just pushed play and a few seconds in paused it because I’m already excited for the rock reveal!! That first dragon skin 🐉 piece is fi-yah!!! 🔥🐦🔥 Back to watch the video now 😂 Can’t wait to see what it holds. ❤love, Annie, an unabashed fangirl of this channel hehe 💁🏼♀️
19:29 😍🤩🤯🔥🔥🎉💥 Emojis are appropriate at times! 19:16 is a brecciated agate? Never seen that before. This shows why you two are rockhounding royalty. I knew it was going to be good when I mistook the 1st opening guitar chord for being "Crazy on You" by Heart. 😅 Well it is the exact same chord! Excellent video as always, super cutting by Brian, exceptional rock show by Liz.
@ I did drive to the Black Hills but it was mainly small stuff and only one iridescent fire. It was fun but I’d like to find something nice. Thanks Brian and Julie!!
I went to the Black Hills Rockhound Area earlier this year in March. I did Payson in August. I suspected this had to be somewhere near Black Hills because it’s also fire agate. I will have to check out this area next time.
This area is south of Duncan AZ. If you google Round Mountain BLM Rockhound area, it takes you right to it. Hunt the hills to the left when you get there.👍🏼
@@AZRockhoundExpeditions We've been to Round Mtn a few times now - could you please give a bit more info on the place(s) you stopped to hound? there are multiple turn offs, as you well know - we went much further back in hoping that we would avoid the over-hunted spots (went across a cattleguard and hunted the washes/rolling hills off to the West. Found some cool stuff, but nothing like y'all did. Congrats ! ! 👍

23:23 no, stop, uh nah… that’s not real!? Hahah jk I absolutely love this one wowza!!
Total AI!🤣🤣J/k🤣
Those rocks look incredible. Don’t dig too deep down there. Dunkin’ used to be my favorite disposal sight 😅
😂😂Thank you! No digging required, thank goodness!😂
I need to make that trip. Beautiful specimens.

Makasih sdh sharing info soal batuan. Bagus banget batu nya. Sukses selalu
Thank you for watching and your kind words! All the best to you!
Hipefully you picked up some of the pieces you “flew by”. There were
Some pretty ones
I actually left them. I figured I be back up again someday.🤣 when I watched the fly by I was like holy crap! I didn’t pick that one up??🤣🤣
Were these cleaned with high pressure water or some sort of acid bath?
They were cleaned with high pressure water using a textile gun. Excellent for getting into nooks and crannies. No acid used. 😀
Wow! So this place is open to the public?
Yes it is! It’s a designated BLM Rockhounding site!😃 free to Rockhound and you can camp out there too.

That one at the start was like Jaba the fire agate o.o
🤣🤣 They need homes too!😂
One of those is a moss agate. Harder to find in AZ than fire agates.
It was weird to find moss out there. We have fee digs here in Central AZ full of moss agate and plume!😃💖
Was that blue inside one of those? Or just an illusion?
It was a Navy Blue transition to black! Totally crazy was not expecting that one!
When Brian says worked right what does he mean?
What Brian means is that if polished correctly (worked right), there should be a nice fire showing.
how long of a drive from where you two live
It's about 5.5 hours. Not too far. 🤣🤣
just a botthound saying hi
👋🏼Hi Bothound!🤣
I saw a frog
SWEET SWEET some of it l@@Ks like candy you can eat. LOL..
It does! Total rock candy!😍
