Holy crap that first pic DID bring back a wave of nostalgia. Totally forgot about this game lol. Don't remember the rules or objectives though. And yes I was homeschooled, here in Canada, but I did extra activities like science, art, and pe in a private school for grade 6, so that's probably where I played it.
Im british! In our primary school, it was Heads Down, Thumbs Up. There would be a selected group of people (pretty much always the people that would beg), and the whole class would put their heads on the table and stick their thumbs up. The pickers would tap/pinch/squeeze someone's thumb, and then go back to the front of the class. The teacher would say, "Heads up, stand up if you got picked", and then the guessers would pick whoever they think picked them. If they got it right, they would swap and the former picker would sit back down. I remember people would stomp their feet, randomly start laughing or try kicking people under the table lmao
Hey sketch can you try “hero’s of Robloxia” it’s a game I played in 2018 when I was a kid it would make my day if you played it and made a video for it
It's so funny since me and Sketch live in the exact same state and same area (Different Times I Did Not Grow Up With Sketch, I Am Not Friends With Sketch sadly... ) so it's really funny when I get these references like American Pickers airs so goddamn much. 1:52 and 3:08
I played this.. I got my thumb down them the lunch bell rang so the teacher said we will carry it on later.. that later never came.. i have no left there class...
For me they kinda did it different, they didn't do the way sketch explains it. Instead 7 people will be it as it's called heads up 7 up, they will actually tap people on the thumbs, and when the round was over the tapped people would just stay in there desks
We had a game like that. Called heads down thumbs up. Its just like heads up but instead of tapping shoulders, the person who is on tapped their thumbs, there were also multiple people on.
hey sketch, this game i love is dying and i thought maybe if you played it it would be revived. it is called MGDWare. it is inspired by the Wario Ware series and i thought u might have fun playing it
for me its called heads down thumbs up and instead of tapping you on the shoulder they press your thumb and you then have to clench your fists. This allows other tappers to know who has and hasn't been tapped
this game is the real one. I used to stare down the people that got picked and were not by me to lure them off into picking me although I didn’t. when they say me I’m like “oh you gotta be kidding me” rather I switch it off and just stay there making them see that I didn’t pick them.
0:20 in fact, in my school you don't even need to use a phone to loose it and your parents can't go for it if you use phone various times, I don't know if all schools in my country are like that, but at least mine is Edit: also, in only one grade I was in homeschool, of course, in that time I didn't knew english very well so it was a nightmare since it was all in english
where i live, we called it heads down thumbs up, all we did is heads down, stick your thumb up and instead of a shoulder tap, you'd put your thumb down instead.
i cant lie, dont know the other sketch. Ever since like a month ago ive been slowly seeing this other sketch rise to the top of the search suggestion, and now they are. Who are they.
I live in the UK and we, or in my country, called it "Heads down thumbs up" and you would pinch somebody's thumb to pick them instead of tapping their shoulder
