Hi-Rez is a master at killing games with a ton of hype. They killed Realm Royale, brought it back, and killed it again. They are doing the same with Rogue. They did it with smite too. and paladins
I still playing it i'm level 800 i really hope this studio do something good with the game! It only needs constant content, maps, skins, new rogues, i love this game
Honestly, I still love ❤️ this game😢. Rogue Company is my favorite videogame, and I hope that developers will save it somehow. But I will play it even if this game have a problems. I'm not giving up guys, even if the developers don't care about the game. Love you all, guys. And yeah, great 👍 video, buddy! It's the first time I see you, but I am your new subscriber 😊
Is anyone dealing with a server had a unknown error 4? I have never experienced this before and other people i know are currently play8ng rogue right now. Its at the main login where I'm currently trying to log in. This has been going on for the past few days and have not been able to log in since as it currently says server had a unknown error 4. Help please!?
i swear all the new games i end up liking always fail and end up shut down and forgotten because hype died shit sucks i like this game a lot and recently started playing again sometimes it takes like 5 min for me to find a game unless i switch severs
I loved RoCo so much. I knew it was coming for a downfall when they started making balance changes to appeal to a different market. Replenish getting almost removed entirely from the game except for Vy was a big indicator they wanted to punish rushers and promote a more defensive playstyle. As an Ex-Smite player, Hi-Rez has a long track record of pushing their diehard community away to appeal to another one, be it casuals or the competitive scene. But they also have a track record for having some of the best playing games in existence. I miss ya RoCo, but I'm glad I was here alongside ya Brad. At least we were some of the lucky ones who got to experience it in its peak.
That’s what happens when you put strict SBMM into a game that hasn’t even developed a hardcore player base yet. Good riddance, I hope other devs learn from this mistake. People want to have fun with variety of gameplay, not pure sweat in a game they’re not even sure they like yet.
I remember how I bought the Xbox Elite Gamepad for this game, and later it began to go to the bottom, the first bad decision was when the weapon was untied from the characters. And they finished off the game with a solution with cross-play between platforms, I took it neutrally, but all my friends just stopped playing the game, and then cheaters appeared and updates happened less and less.
Brad I have an intrest in buying the game from the owners and making the game as big as possible.. any ideas on how to go about it and if its even possible.
The biggest mistake this game makes is trying to be eSports. The gun recoil changes are terrible. Changes like this will make most players get frustrated and quit the game. After all, eSports is only a game for that small group of people.
ayee props to u brad . i feel like u simplified all of it in not just a concise easy to follow way , but you also brought up some really valid points and tidbits of info here n there that i didnt even know fr...for ex your point abt how their way more successful titles were run on the fine tuned machine that is unreal engine 3 so since they probably rushed the jump to UE 4 its most likely the main contributing factor for the endless server/lag issues/frame drops etc that have been present since day one. n i think its safe to say that when us rogue lifers complain abt those key fundamental issues ,we're just complainin to complain and in hopes that they do somethin to fix it. but we're not takin the extra second to think abt the actual why behind it and how its tied to their jump in UE. (at least i know i wasnt lol) ,,but thats beyond logical...
Ever any updates, like one really new map in years. They constancy take maps out of rotation for modes, and nothing exciting and new. Game has so much potential but hi Rez killed it.
I started playing rouge through lockdown and it was my first shooting game ever. I thought it was pretty cool. After like 1,5 year I switched to apex and I realized how bad rouge was 😭
i would like to see the game return. It was such a great game, but they removed dev's who were trying and let the community stay in the dark to the point people were just dipping. Such a fantastic game though with fond memories of it.
They focused more on collaborations rather than growing an organic player base, making the game the best it can be should be their first priority. & just like a fighting game never tweak your weapons after lunch. Make sure to get weapons balanced before lunch. & for Gamers sake the visuals are very enticing give us a campaign story once a year using e ery rogue. Even if its a 2hr linear but open combat campaign like call of duty. It would keep the game alice for up to ten years
Wish I could get xbox credit back at least miss the game it never updated for so long and now the dr disrespect thing so a lot of money was wasted but had fun at the time.
I think it still has a chance to come back. I still play today and matchmaking isnt too bad apart from the hackers every now and then, one of themn literally shooting from an unplayable area.
This just made me remeber I did play this game when it was like it's alpha stage. I played wi5h my brother and we got destroyed so we didn't play and then when the game changed or got more hype a fee months ago we played again for a fee days and then quit again
My friends and i loved early rogue company. Loved playing single life extraction mode. Then they took it out and we found all the respawn rounds boring. Tried playing shuffle a few weeks ago and now extraction is a respawn mode. So depressing. Was my groups go-to on friday.
This was my main game i had 70 days on it all weapons and 16 rogues mastered i had every leg skin i spent 1500$+ supporting it and its sad to see where it is
This game was so fun and was a great palette cleanser from competitive shooters like siege. Ik its a competitive game but it felt new but still allowed for good casual fun, i miss it and wish i could get back into it but the player base just isnt there 😢
The bugs were bad but i think what ultimately put the nail in the coffin for this game was the severe lack of content. At one point this game used to be my favorite shooter in the world and now it's the most dead game i've ever played and that's sad. Wouldve hoped for a rogue company 2 with a release kinda similar to overwatch 2 on paper in terms of new content on launch and all that but once i saw that rogue was going the mobile game route i lost hope in that ever happening.
1200+ hours and most of that sniping. I have hundreds of clips and its super fun to snipe and hit clips. The game ended when they introduced kestrel. Now every character has a 1 shot ability or some grenade that instantly kills you. They changed the guns so now the strongest gun is on the strongest characters... with aim assist. Made it hard to snipe, and then they added flinch and it became REALLY hard to snipe. I still stomp lobbies but it sucks now.
What killed the game for me is when skins that was previously "limited time" from the battle passes - you can now buy from tbe store.. Not to mention event skins you grinded for, you can just buy now... I cried about this back then saying it will kill this "sense of invesment".. maybe i was right.
@@braduk_ just like they had the right to get rid of many things that made the game good. They also had every right to not fix the game so they didn't 🤦♂️ it's their right I guess.. they wonder why the game is on life support
This too sad. While I never played a ton of this game, I would still love seeing it flourish. Im particularly fond of the cinematics more than the game itself tbh. I fw Hi-rez games as Im a long time player of Paladins but theres always the long standing issue of the publisher not bringing most of their IPs to long term successes.
I stopped playing around the time they changed the TTK on all guns. After they reversed the TTK, did individual balance updates, and introduced weapon mastery, the game felt way more unbalanced than it already was. Something that never sat right with me is mouse & keyboard going against controller, and even full on console players. There was never really an even playing field.
I respect the game. I tried it with friends and it was fun. But i personally don’t like 3rd person shooters. Plus it just felt a bit too slow for my taste.
Your end comments are something I hope for this this game. I think if influencers got together and bought the IP, they could make something great. Another game company could do it , but I don't think they would have the passion for it. Rebuilding support for a pretty dead community would take a lot of work i think only people that play the game and love the game would help in the retstorative process P.S. Like and subscribe Brad Uk is the best
Honestly i think this game lacked 2 things to stay relevant: 1. New content 2. A core audience In live service games like this you need to constantly have some reason to comeback, for this look at fortnite, every season there's new or remixed content which keeps you coming back to "just check it out" And also you need a core audience that will no matter what stick with you, if you have no one to be with you during the hardest moments you'll never be able to achieve your peaks, as a comparison look at rainbow six siege, a game that has been on the brink of death multiple times, but it has a dedicated core audience that will play until the last moment the servers are up. Now you can make it with just one or the other, cs:go has dedicated players but not much new content, and cod warzone has new content but not much in the way of truly dedicated fans. if you have both you're golden, fortnite r6s LoL warframe etc. but if you have neither you're not making it long, rogue company did have new content but they did so much so grandly in the first year that after that it felt like a slow trickle of new content in comparison the following year, and while it did have a small group of dedicated fans for most people it seems this was just a pandemic time waster or filler until the next big thing.
I remember i used to play this game any chance i get. I loved it. It had a great gameplay loop. So much potential. Its sad to see the state of it but at the same time they brought it on themselevs😢
This game was honestly super fun when it first came around. I remember getting into it in 2022. Me and my boyfriend met the same year and we would play it all night together. Good times but now the game is so dead and it changed so much unfortunately
of course i can! we all love rogue company, and trust me, there is probably no one that loves it more than you and me! i am constantly hoping they bring a rogue company 2 out! and ill be the first creator in line 100% to cover the game.

It's the first time I see you, but I am your new subscriber 😊
me too! and thank you for subscibing!
You're welcome 😊@@braduk_
Is anyone dealing with a server had a unknown error 4? I have never experienced this before and other people i know are currently play8ng rogue right now. Its at the main login where I'm currently trying to log in. This has been going on for the past few days and have not been able to log in since as it currently says server had a unknown error 4. Help please!?
Maybe switch server's I'm not sure haven't had that one yet sorry 😞
I did forget to add I am using a ps4
Same here maybe reboot you won't loose games but PlayStation will be reset you can look up how to do it on RUclips
You can look up how to fix code 4 on PS4 on RUclips hope it helps
i swear all the new games i end up liking always fail and end up shut down and forgotten because hype died shit sucks i like this game a lot and recently started playing again sometimes it takes like 5 min for me to find a game unless i switch severs
Yeah for real we were lucky and I do really appreciate the long comment here! Maybe rogue will get a volume 2 one day, maybe not!
ninja also did a stream with scott when the game realesed in open beta. Just thought id point it out since it wasnt mentioned with the other creators
I played and loved this game so much, sad to see its potential being wasted 😢
I lowkey wouldn’t be surprised if they did a Rogue Reforged, i kinda hope so. But that could be another few years away if they did..
Best game I've ever and may ever play. Heart broken.
Only HiRez could burry such a great game with so much potential. I'm huge fan since closed beta and it saddens me to see Rogue Company's failure.
This is a nostalgic game. 😢
facts
Brad I have an intrest in buying the game from the owners and making the game as big as possible.. any ideas on how to go about it and if its even possible.
I'm being serious my man..any thoughts on my company buying the game .any help would be appreciated
(at least i know i wasnt lol) ,,but thats beyond logical...
thank you so much jenna really appreciate the comment!
It’s so sad a game like valorant outshines this game bc of these reasons. It was too unique
That thumbnail continuity is clean 👌
my G thank you brother
I think it still has a chance to come back. I still play today and matchmaking isnt too bad apart from the hackers every now and then, one of themn literally shooting from an unplayable area.
lack of updates and communication killed this game.
When they pulled it from Switch I felt betrayed🙁
Any way to look up stats on this game I’m pretty sure I have countless hours and only lost like 10 games max
Loved this game when it first came out but they added sbmm I checked out, just wasn't have fun playing the same people every night.
good old rogue company, not touched in 4 months
Same
such a shame
This was my main game i had 70 days on it all weapons and 16 rogues mastered i had every leg skin i spent 1500$+ supporting it and its sad to see where it is
Yeah I was exactly the same brothersucu as shame
Great video Brad Roco for life so sad this game died such a fun 3rd person shooter with so much potential.
Really good game, it should've get mobile realise too.. sad it went down like this 😢
I still play this once in a while. I remember when my friends and I got to rogue ranked in season 1. Good times
The game is actually incredible and very unique in a landscape of so many first person shooters. Keep playing with friends till the end!
You gotta try HAWKED
8-9 months later still cant change player identity For Fuck sakes Mark Rubin SAVE us lol
Yeah I mean I guess we can’t blame them for that! They have every right to do it
@@braduk_ just like they had the right to get rid of many things that made the game good. They also had every right to not fix the game so they didn't 🤦♂️ it's their right I guess.. they wonder why the game is on life support
This too sad. While I never played a ton of this game, I would still love seeing it flourish. Im particularly fond of the cinematics more than the game itself tbh. I fw Hi-rez games as Im a long time player of Paladins but theres always the long standing issue of the publisher not bringing most of their IPs to long term successes.
im glad you think that also!!! rogue is superb.
RoCo was one of my favorite competitive games, spent countless hours grinding ranked with Chaac xd
Rebuilding support for a pretty dead community would take a lot of work i think only people that play the game and love the game would help in the retstorative process
P.S. Like and subscribe Brad Uk is the best
big love - thank you!!!
Like if you still play Rouge company (I’m not fishing for likes I just want to see how many people still play Rouge company to see if I should play)
👇
W video Brad, sad but true
thank you so much honestly
Honestly i think this game lacked 2 things to stay relevant:
1. New content
2. A core audience
In live service games like this you need to constantly have some reason to comeback, for this look at fortnite, every season there's new or remixed content which keeps you coming back to "just check it out"
And also you need a core audience that will no matter what stick with you, if you have no one to be with you during the hardest moments you'll never be able to achieve your peaks, as a comparison look at rainbow six siege, a game that has been on the brink of death multiple times, but it has a dedicated core audience that will play until the last moment the servers are up.
This game was sooooo fun during Covid
@@sdottwal 100%
Damn shame because it was an awesome game, they probably just pulled on back and dumped into Smite 2 as a safer bet.
love your content broooo
I love this game❤
I had so much fun from rogue company. i still have clips of crossmaps saved on my xbox
you know what some of the best gaming years ive had was on rogue company
I loved this game man
I remember i used to play this game any chance i get. I loved it. It had a great gameplay loop. So much potential. Its sad to see the state of it but at the same time they brought it on themselevs😢
I played this with my buddies during lockdown and afterwards. It was fun for awhile but sadly went down bad fast
This game was honestly super fun when it first came around. I remember getting into it in 2022. Me and my boyfriend met the same year and we would play it all night together. Good times but now the game is so dead and it changed so much unfortunately
This game also had some pretty great trailers btw
Sorry 😔 i was angry about how the game was dying and took my frustrations out on you hope you can accept my apology its from the heart
of course i can! we all love rogue company, and trust me, there is probably no one that loves it more than you and me! i am constantly hoping they bring a rogue company 2 out! and ill be the first creator in line 100% to cover the game.
@@braduk_ thanks 🙏
