I tried it today because I was bored and it turned out pretty good! I wouldn’t say it’s exactly the same as the one I usually buy at the dessert place, but it’s pretty good considering it’s homemade:)

Hi, I tried making this today (so good 🤤❤️) but I didn’t use all the dough. Can I store the dough in the fridge? Fridge or freezer? And how long will they last?

Tried with sweet potato flour. Turned out well! But I think it will harden in the fridge overnight. Boil what you can eat.

Can I skip the added sugar at the end? Perhaps leave the balls in the ice cold water longer to prevent them from sticking to each other?

May I ask how come your granulated sugar looks like paste? Do you cook it in water first.

Looks like it's just the little bit of water that got spooned into the bowl when she put the taro balls in.

probably but if you do have any asian stores around you, it is easy to find cheap tapioca starch. I am going to attempt it with potato starch and I will let you know how that goes.
