my niece and I were out driving in Nashville or Hendersonville I should say. and we ran into Connie Francis and Marty Stewart walking in their nabor hood. And boy was they in a word fight with each other. Pointing fingers and screaming at each other. Their house was just a couple blocks down from the Johnny cash home. A lot of the music people live out there on the river. My niece wanted his autograph. I told her to wait they were fighting with each other. But she’s hard headed and ask anyway. Connie smith was very rude and I didn’t blame her. She just walked on mumbling something. But Marty stopped and told my niece to stop him later when she sees him and he’d gladly give her his autograph. He said this isn’t a good time. And he laughed. And it wasn’t a good time just like I told her!!

That is how Greeeeat Connie Smith is yet! But it makes me so sad that Weldon Myrick is no longer with us. He made his debut when Connie first sang this song & wow was he great on a steel guitar. my niece and I were out driving in Nashville or Hendersonville I should say. and we ran into Connie Francis and Marty Stewart walking in their nabor hood. And boy was they in a word fight with each other. Pointing fingers and screaming at each other. Their house was just a couple blocks down from the Johnny cash home. A lot of the music people live out there on the river. My niece wanted his autograph. I told her to wait they were fighting with each other. But she’s hard headed and ask anyway. Connie smith was very rude and I didn’t blame her. She just walked on mumbling something. But Marty stopped and told my niece to stop him later when she sees him and he’d gladly give her his autograph. He said this isn’t a good time. And he laughed. And it wasn’t a good time just like I told her!!
