I had the pleasure of meeting MJ on a few occasions. My role in our interactions was in a "service" capacity, so we didn't talk at length or anything. But, each visit was for HOURS AT A TIME, and a few things SHOCKED ME: 1.) He was extremely polite. His image in the media is really how he conducts himself. His Mom/Dad must be SAINTS. 2.) I'm 6'4, and he wasn't OBVIOUSLY taller than me. He isn't 6'6. No way. 3.) This was in 2003-2004, so he was already IMMENSELY WEALTHY, but he didn't seem HAPPY. He seemed LONELY. And, it felt like he was tolerating existence, rather than enjoying it.

As a loyal basketball & NBA fan & Chicago fan I love play basketball, and watch people and teams compete. After seeing this documentary, I feel something is not quite right, I would like to speak my opinion on this: MJ is a great and excellent player, there’s no doubt, Many kids grow up want to be like Mike, Just like the Newer generation want to be like Kobe, LeBron and Curry and much more. Stop debating, who is the greatest Even whom you think as great as MJ, He is not good enough to win even on championship without having elite players of him level teaming up with him. Without all the sacrifice and contributions to all the player and coaching staffs he will not be able to make it this far. It’s a very demanding Team sport, There are a lot of excellent players, fall short in championship rings, doesn’t mean they are less of player in comparison to MJ, it’s important to acknowledge their achievement as well. Michael Air Jordan is THE BEST person to do his job Reposiblay ever .. So it's safe to say Michael AIR Jordan is never had Shordy problems .. loved this Netfix Original. The Last Dance. Thanks for reading ✌
I love that the players decided to end it with the last dance. One of the owners spoke about not going for a 6th championship. There should have been another shot at it. Go for 7. Leave it all in the floor. That being said, the players spoke about how tired they were. The stress was becoming greater every year. 80's and 90's the golden era of basketball. The NBA today is a joke. Tickety Tok fouls today. People like Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc... Would dominate today's prima donna players.
Only complaint I have with TLD is they didn’t do a very good job at showing some of MJ’s most mind blowing highlights!!! Tiny bits and pieces but not many of the ones that made you think “I’ve never seen that before, during, or since!” Other than that still the best sports doc of all time by a LOT
