Loop hole explain Akane edition: -Aqua assumes that Taiki's father is the biological father who cheated on Airi with Ai, but neglect the possibility that Airi could have cheated on her husband with the actual biological father which also mean Taiki doesn't know the truth himself. And as we see from this episode, Airi is the one who cheated and not her husband. Loophole for what we should know: ‐Taiki is 20, the twins are 16 turning 17 soon. Taiki was 5 when his parents died. Ai was murdered when the twins were 3 turning 4 as Ai just turn 20. From this alone that means the father should have beem dead when the twins were 2, but then how would Ai contacted their father days before her murder. Remember she gave him the address in which turn, Ryosuke (the stalker) found her home. So many people didn't catch that and it is golden.
There is another loophole, Taiki is 20 and Aqua 17, Taiki said that his parents died when he was 5, that means that Aqua was 2 at the time and we know that Ai died when the twins were 3 or 4 (because Ai just turned 20 when she died) so by the time she died (and Made the call to the father) Taiki's "father" was already dead
I don't think Akane knows that Taiki is Aqua and Ruby's half-brother and neither Aqua nor Akane knows of that Ai called the father that time. That may be a clue for the audience but that was definitely not the loophole that Akane was talking about.
The loop-hole is Taiki's father isnt actually his biological dad. The loophole is that his mom couldve cheated with the same guy who fathered Aqua and Ruby.
Aqua is such a tragic character, he wanted it to end so badly that deep down he looked passed a simple loophole. He wants to be happy, and to actually live his life. Akane realized the truth, and figuring it out right after he says he is free is even more brutal.
People can say that I am the biggest Akane glazer out there but that bridge scene in this episode up till she realizes the loophole, made her my fav character that instant when i read it in the manga. The fact that she's trying so hard to help Aqua but she doesn't want Aqua to go back to his past self made her literally hit a dead end. She's a clever girl so she can figure it out herself that this loophole is clearly obvious but Aqua literally overlooked it bcs deep inside his heart, he wants to be free. She understands Aqua's struggles so much that she knows she had to do something by herself. Plus, she's currently the only one that knows so much of Aqua's story, not even Ruby or Kana knows so that makes it harder for herself alone to keep Aqua's secrets. But she still did so. Alone. That is already impressive for me. I know and I accept that Akane is not the main focus of this story (including from the love aspect) but personally, I just like her character so much.
very relatable, that scene in the bridge, the way she hugged Aqua just felt so immersive. It was stuck in my head for days, it shows how much Akane truly cared for Aqua and how much gratitude she has for Aqua after that one act. While I heavily ship Akane x Aqua because of how sweet Akane simply is, it is saddening imo that Akane won't ever have a chance with Aqua anymore, atleast not as big as Kana's. I don't know if you aren't a glazer or we just have mutual feelings about it but it makes me glad someone feels similarly to me.
@@Setsuna2003 I won't spoil too much but their relationship status in the manga didn't go well, the ship practically sunk, while that may change it has a slim chance that Aqua will end up with Akane rather then Kana.
I'm an anime only. But I think Akane instantly understanding what happened made 100% sense. Even without the knowledge the audience knows (that it's Taiki, that Taiki is 20 and Aqua is 17). Akane should be able to deduce this with just the info given. Think it through. 1) Aqua says he DNA tested 100+ people, he found his half brother. 2) Aqua talked with the half brother and the half brother SAYS their father is dead. 3) Aqua instantly believed it and did not think of any other situation. 4) Aqua tells Akane this, Akane realized there is an obvious situation where Aqua and the half brother's dad is still alive, that the person the half brother THINKS is the real dad, is not the real dad. Aqua never tested the dad. 5) Akane realizes that Aqua didn't catch this, and is put into a tough spot. Does she tell Aqua that there is a possibility his real dad is still out there, or let him be at peace while never actually getting the revenge he wanted.
yea that's so awkward....... it makes more sense logically that Himekawa's "dad" (Uehara-san) was actually cucked by his biological dad (who is also Aqua's bio. dad) and then somehow Uehara-san found out about his wife cheating and he killed her and then himself. As Akane said- Aqua wanted to be free of this revenge mission, so he was satisfied with the explanation from Himekawa and didn't want to think anymore about it.
Aqua’s line of reasoning is as follows: 1. Taiki Himekawa’s biological father is my biological father. 2. Seijuro Uehara is dead. 3. Therefore, my biological father is dead. 3 only follows from 1 and 2 with the assumption “Taiki Himekawa’s biological father is Seijuro Uehara”, which has not been proven.
yeah aqua writes off the reason behind why Seijuro Uehara commits double suicide if, he is the (only) one cheating. For a husband to instigate killing his wife there must be something triggering that event. There is also a matter of timeline of the double suicide happening and the death of Ai.
@@nakuvamp Before this ep it is never implied. What can be implied(by Aqua) is that Aqua's father wasnt behind the murder. WE know that it cant be anyone else because of Ai's phonecall that Aqua isnt aware of.

I think the loophole Akane thought of is that it didn't have to be Himekawa's "father" who was being unfaithful necessarily but it could also be his wife who was which means even if both could be true one has "Aqua's father" dead while the other option has him alive. Then you have Akane's understanding about Ai's persona where I assume she thinks Ai would not be anyone's second option and much less be fooled to not knowing she was in that position which leads to Akane to think the option of Himekawa's mother being the one having a side thing with Aqua's father is the most likely one. In any case that's my theory about what Akane meant because it's the most obvious loophole in that situation assuming just 1 of Himekawa's parents being unfaithful and one that Aqua would normally account for in normal circumstances

i dont know how heavy spoilers this is, but wow coming from an oshi no ko manga reader myself, but your breakdown of the loophole of the father and the relationships of the characters is PRECISELY SPOT ON, thats EXACTLY how it is hahahaha 10/10 🔥🔥💯
Right or wrong, you came to the same conclusion most people who watched it came to (Himekawa's mother cheating on her husband with Aqua's actual father). And Akane figured it out, but she thinks the only reason why Aqua himself didn't think of that, is because he wants it to be over in his mind... (Then again, Akane's deductive mind has proven to be greater than Aqua, she thinks of everything and all!)
I think the show does well to remind us a couple of times in this episode (Kids these days, huh?) that Aqua is in his late 30s in reality, and there's a definite power-gap in his relationships with these young girls that aren't as jaded or as pragmatic as he is.
hey Alana!)) i wanted to write this comment around 2 weeks ago, goshh 😅😅😅 so i ran into this anime 1,5 month ago (cuz i started seeing a lot of reactions to it on YT and it caught my attention). dropped after watching 2 eps since i was devastated Ai getting killed, also this reincarnation thing and revenge theme.. not really my thing. but!! i came back to it 3 weeks ago and decided to watch the last ep of s1 to get to know at least how the anime ended. i didn't know there's another season of it, i got so invested that ended up watching next 4 eps of s2. that's how i came back to s1 and started watching the show properly 😆🙈🤩. after finishing the show [as i thought] i decided to pick one blogger of all who have already reacted to the show. i did my research *says proudly* and this is how i found you. also this is how i realised the anime is still ongoing 🙈😁. I WAS SOO GLADD but also realised that i will need to wait with you all now to know how it ends 😁. Alana, you are such a sweet soul! beautiful inside and out, it's such a delight and amusement watching you. thanks for reactions!! also, wow, i like your investment in the show (i always appreciate when bloggers put their hearts into reactions and the shows they're watching 🥹). it means a lot to the fans that are watching these bloggers 😋🥹. also you are so intelligent and attentive noticing the while flowers bouquet that Ai's stalker had the same one... cannot wait to see the next ep and your reaction afterwards 😋. also i started reading manga while im waiting for the new eps, heheh
Akane's read books on profiling, right? She knows that Aqua's dad manipulated that kid into killing Ai, but it wouldn't make sense for an indirect, cold manipulator to directly commit and act of passion. Someone who'd pull strings to keep their hands clean wouldn't sacrifice their own life in an act of agony. She also knows Himekawa and probably knows when both incidents happened, making it impossible for Himekawa's "dad" to have caused Ai's death. Everything Aqua knows goes against the conclusion he's started clinging to
Let me tell ya what i deduced as for the loophole- we got himekawas parents (consider dad 1 and mom 1) and also we got a third guy , and ai , now mom 1 had cheated with dad 1 and their biological child is himekawa,i.e., dad 1 and mom 1(married couple) never have their own kids but maybe dad1 doesnt knows that fact, he belives himekawa is their own child, himekawa was just 5 when his dad died as per him,he just thinks that his parents died and never considered himself being a child of some other person and his mom(so um himekawa is r8 on his point , like how tf would he know that his mom cheated and he is a kid of a third guy but is raised with dad1) now dad 1 makes connections with Ai , but the third guy interferes , then what happens is the double suicide of himekawas parents, and we have ai and the third guy copulating and giving born to aqua and ruby, then the third guy dissapeares(prolly the guy with yellow hair we see at the end), thus aqua and himekawa are brothers as their father is same who impregnated both Ai and himekawas mom, but aqua misses this concept as we all know his suffering that was continuing for so long. But damn akane realizes it. So listen guys it aint the dad 1 who cheated(he might hv an affair with ai but thats it ,ntg more), we were being fooled or made to think such by the storyline ... its getting interesting now yeyy🎉 , hope all get my explantion. If it has loophole in it plz respond , else like or comment below!
im down diabolical for the dad i apologise i can fix him (i cant) speaking of "why is he being a freak" i once saw someone say him and ai match each others freak 😭
I’m leaving this comment here AFTER watching the episode myself, but BEFORE watching the reaction: I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!!! I knew that the dates didn’t match and that Aqua (and Himekawa) supposed father, (Uehara) would have been dead for like a few months, if not a year or more before AI’s murder, if Himekawa informations are correct… Now my theory is that sure, the DNA test results are accurate, Aqua and Himekawa ARE indeed brothers who share the same father BUT Himekawa thinks that her mother’s husband (Uehara) is his biological father, which he isn’t… And that’s probably because his mother was seduced by this as*hole and became pregnant… She was initially able to fool Uehara making him think that the baby (Himekawa) was his, but then, when he was 5 something happened: maybe he was hospitalized and/or needed a blood transfusion or something like that, (Could also be something that directly involves DNA , but I feel that something regarding a different blood type would be more likely) and that’s when Uehara realized that Himekawa was not his son and his wife had been cheating on him… So, in a fit of rage he killed her and then killed himself… That’s how I think things went, more or less… (I could also very much be HORRIBLY wrong) And I was right when I thought that Aqua didn’t dig enough, didn’t investigate properly, because he was subconsciously trying to find a way out, thinking something like: “Okay, they’ve just told me he’s dead, so I won’t ask any further and unnecessary questions, but just accept the fact that he’s not longer alive and take this opportunity to finally be able to live my life to the fullest like I’ve always wanted… TBF we also know that that bastard and Ai talked to the phone just a few days before AI’s death, while Aqua doesn’t… But now that I think about it actually doesn’t matter if Aqua didn’t know that those two talked to the phone… We know from episode 1 that they had “JUST TRANSFERRED” to that new apartment (I imagine at best a few weeks earlier, not before) and the stalker couldn’t possibly have gotten that information from someone (Uehara) who had died AT LEAST one year before…
The "loophole" that Akane identified is that Himekawa's *father* might not have been the one having the affair. If it was Himekawa's mother that hooked up with Aqua's father, then he might still be out there. And honestly, the whole "Oops both his mother and father ended up dead" was kind of suspicious from the start, given that we already know that Aqua's father wouldn't hesitate to murder someone in order to cover up an affair.
I haven't seen the manga, but I thought about Loophole, because if Aqua is such a perfectionist, why does he assume that his father, who never assumed children and had his mother killed, would have such a kind reason to accept another child, live with a family and then commit suicide? The most logical thing would be for him to also get another woman pregnant and for another person to assume the role of father. In other words, he had to make sure that Kashimo's father was actually Kashimo's father. 😅
Ahh I am glad I was not the only one who did not see the loophole. Your theory makes a lot of sense. So this guy seduced two different women. So AI was killed in a murder suicide and so was Aqua's half brothers mother. Two murder suicides. So I think their real dad caused it in both cases.

i dont know how heavy spoilers this is, but wow coming from an oshi no ko manga reader myself, but your breakdown of the loophole of the father and the relationships of the characters is PRECISELY SPOT ON, thats EXACTLY how it is hahahaha 10/10 🔥🔥💯
Hikaru's entry is one of the best antagonist entries
Goosebumps, in this episode I only felt goosebumps.
The hair color is so beautiful
/// ///
How psycopath can you be to give the flowers that the murderer gave to ai before stabbing her, to ai's grave
Simple loophole : any other possible father
Aqua assumption : only one man between two women
I think the show does well to remind us a couple of times in this episode (Kids these days, huh?) that Aqua is in his late 30s in reality, and there's a definite power-gap in his relationships with these young girls that aren't as jaded or as pragmatic as he is.
My mind exploded 🤯
Love your reaction !
Their father is hella psychopath and his VA is of light yagami's 🔥🔥
Damn this is going to be banger
hey Alana!)) i wanted to write this comment around 2 weeks ago, goshh 😅😅😅
so i ran into this anime 1,5 month ago (cuz i started seeing a lot of reactions to it on YT and it caught my attention). dropped after watching 2 eps since i was devastated Ai getting killed, also this reincarnation thing and revenge theme.. not really my thing.
but!! i came back to it 3 weeks ago and decided to watch the last ep of s1 to get to know at least how the anime ended.
i didn't know there's another season of it, i got so invested that ended up watching next 4 eps of s2.
that's how i came back to s1 and started watching the show properly 😆🙈🤩.
after finishing the show [as i thought] i decided to pick one blogger of all who have already reacted to the show. i did my research *says proudly* and this is how i found you. also this is how i realised the anime is still ongoing 🙈😁.
Damn. Now that I watched Shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan, i can't stop thinking of Nokotan when i see Kana.
I have a feeling, that Akane figures that Ai would go into a relationship with someone who was married, because Ai would want that person for herself.
The simple clue is the hair😮
Akane's read books on profiling, right? She knows that Aqua's dad manipulated that kid into killing Ai, but it wouldn't make sense for an indirect, cold manipulator to directly commit and act of passion. Someone who'd pull strings to keep their hands clean wouldn't sacrifice their own life in an act of agony. She also knows Himekawa and probably knows when both incidents happened, making it impossible for Himekawa's "dad" to have caused Ai's death. Everything Aqua knows goes against the conclusion he's started clinging to
Nice to meet you!
My name is Harumery
Kana Arima is very cute!
But I like Ruby
Aqua and ruby are fav ❤
Imma have to read after next weeks finale goddamn just when i thought it couldnt get any better😅
That akane and aqua conversation at the end was so sad too :( akane is so sweet but she needs help in her own way
Let me tell ya what i deduced as for the loophole- we got himekawas parents (consider dad 1 and mom 1) and also we got a third guy , and ai , now mom 1 had cheated with dad 1 and their biological child is himekawa,i.e., dad 1 and mom 1(married couple) never have their own kids but maybe dad1 doesnt knows that fact, he belives himekawa is their own child, himekawa was just 5 when his dad died as per him,he just thinks that his parents died and never considered himself being a child of some other person and his mom(so um himekawa is r8 on his point , like how tf would he know that his mom cheated and he is a kid of a third guy but is raised with dad1) now dad 1 makes connections with Ai , but the third guy interferes , then what happens is the double suicide of himekawas parents, and we have ai and the third guy copulating and giving born to aqua and ruby, then the third guy dissapeares(prolly the guy with yellow hair we see at the end), thus aqua and himekawa are brothers as their father is same who impregnated both Ai and himekawas mom, but aqua misses this concept as we all know his suffering that was continuing for so long.
Yeah that is definitely There father cause he looks exactly Aqua
im down diabolical for the dad i apologise i can fix him (i cant)
speaking of "why is he being a freak" i once saw someone say him and ai match each others freak 😭
Next final chapter gonna be crazy..
don't give away too much.
Oppss
Drive by on u
I’m leaving this comment here AFTER watching the episode myself, but BEFORE watching the reaction:
I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!!! I knew that the dates didn’t match and that Aqua (and Himekawa) supposed father, (Uehara) would have been dead for like a few months, if not a year or more before AI’s murder, if Himekawa informations are correct… Now my theory is that sure, the DNA test results are accurate, Aqua and Himekawa ARE indeed brothers who share the same father BUT Himekawa thinks that her mother’s husband (Uehara) is his biological father, which he isn’t… And that’s probably because his mother was seduced by this as*hole and became pregnant… She was initially able to fool Uehara making him think that the baby (Himekawa) was his, but then, when he was 5 something happened: maybe he was hospitalized and/or needed a blood transfusion or something like that, (Could also be something that directly involves DNA , but I feel that something regarding a different blood type would be more likely)
and that’s when Uehara realized that Himekawa was not his son and his wife had been cheating on him… So, in a fit of rage he killed her and then killed himself… That’s how I think things went, more or less… (I could also very much be HORRIBLY wrong)
And I was right when I thought that Aqua didn’t dig enough, didn’t investigate properly, because he was subconsciously trying to find a way out, thinking something like: “Okay, they’ve just told me he’s dead, so I won’t ask any further and unnecessary questions, but just accept the fact that he’s not longer alive and take this opportunity to finally be able to live my life to the fullest like I’ve always wanted…
TBF we also know that that bastard and Ai talked to the phone just a few days before AI’s death, while Aqua doesn’t… But now that I think about it actually doesn’t matter if Aqua didn’t know that those two talked to the phone…
We know from episode 1 that they had “JUST TRANSFERRED” to that new apartment (I imagine at best a few weeks earlier, not before) and the stalker couldn’t possibly have gotten that information from someone (Uehara) who had died AT LEAST one year before…
The "loophole" that Akane identified is that Himekawa's *father* might not have been the one having the affair.
And yeah, Akane is super smart.
Daugherty Hollow
I haven't seen the manga, but I thought about Loophole, because if Aqua is such a perfectionist, why does he assume that his father, who never assumed children and had his mother killed, would have such a kind reason to accept another child, live with a family and then commit suicide? The most logical thing would be for him to also get another woman pregnant and for another person to assume the role of father.
In other words, he had to make sure that Kashimo's father was actually Kashimo's father. 😅
aqua just wanted an excuse to clear his mind of it. thats the whole deal
Mamoru Miyano Appearance
Ahh I am glad I was not the only one who did not see the loophole. Your theory makes a lot of sense. So this guy seduced two different women.
So AI was killed in a murder suicide and so was Aqua's half brothers mother. Two murder suicides. So I think their real dad caused it in both cases.
no not really. This guy really didn't seduce so throw that theory out. All will be revealed in season 3.
Nah he didn’t seduce anyone, the truth will be revealed in season 3
Have you ever noticed the crows that appeared since the first episode of this anime?
Good you get the foreshadowing.
@@redmustangredmustang i’m a manga reader. I have known about this for a long time now.
@@rajeshdindyal5201 damn the whole opening and ending are foreshadowing. I mean Aka does this ALL the time. I mean Love is War is FULL of foreshadowing. It's just you got to pay attention to even the SMALLEST of details.
@@redmustangredmustang foreshadowing in kaguya?
🤯🤯🤯😱
As someone who has gotten spoilers on who that actually was. I AM NOT GONNA SPOIL TO YOU BUT BE PREPARED-
Akane is the real deal.
It is simple. Himakawa's mother was the one who was cheating, not his dad. So, their father is still alive.
Mamoru Miyano welcome to oshi no ko lol
Ondricka Estate
I mean, two Blonde kids, Platinum haired dad? Nah that ain’t it.
