Welcome! I haven’t done a video for a while. I’m just living my life. Feeling good, travelling, sticking to my keto diet and exercise routine as much as possible…so much to do to maintain my health! :)
That is wonderful news Jane! I have Grade IV GBM on the right side and in the midst of radio and chemotherapy. Apart from the keto diet and exercise is there anything else you recommend? I have read that Ivermectin or Mebendazole have helped some folk with preventing chemo resistance but my Oncologists don’t endorse or prescribe it. Blessings to you 🙏🏼💝🕯️✝️
Hi Kathy. Thank you so much for reaching out. So sorry about your diagnosis. To say a grade 4 GBM is scary is an understatement. Re my recommendations, I plead complete medical ignorance when it comes to treatment. I sold books for a living before this! But 2 things: I feel better than I felt in years, and I do believe it’s because of my ketogenic diet. Specifically the low carbohydrate aspect. Past niggles - joint pain, plantar fasciitis to name a few - have cleared up. That is proof that a ketogenic diet is at the very least not harmful. 2 - it is a hard diet to stick to, but doing it gives me a sense of agency, which gives me hope. For me, no hope = death. Do things that give you hope. Do not be around anyone who tries to take that away from you. Cut them off cold. You have my blessing in that. Email me at storyofjanesbrain.com if you want to chat.

You’re so welcome. My medical oncologist was frankly so negative, rude, condescending. I’ve swapped her out for another one who will hopefully be better, but boy she made it hard for me to hold onto hope! Bedside manner of a sociopath
Yes and hopefully more and more doctors will start suggesting a keto diet for reversal of type 2 diabetes, rather than drugs. I’m so happy for you Rosemary

My doctor suggested a Keto diet to reverse my Type 2 Diabetes. After 3 months I'm back to pre-diabetes and have lost 25 lbs.
