Seems like a decent jacket. I love my street and steel Mission Moto riding shirt. Great review!

Good review! The jacket looks fantastic.
I have armored jeans from that brand and I really liked them.
It says the brand was created a while back but is one of Revzilla’s brands, probably one of the best ones.

      Danke sir!
I must look in to some jeans, the Lindstrand jeans I have have always been lovely so I currently don't need to replace them thankfully!
Yeah they're a home brand but seem to be very nice from a construction point of view. They just need a better naming department imo :D

@@TheGorillaBiker the knee protectors suck, that’s the only bad thing

    • @TheGorillaBiker
      @TheGorillaBiker  Год назад

The only knee protectors I've ever had that I haven't hated are in my lindstrands, every other jean or textile they've just been awful so I won't count it against them!

The jacket looks great, I am always puzzled why protective kit doesn't come with a back protector.... but I guess it enables them to make it cost less sort of.
I love a hoodie under my jacket, but not sure I'd want the hoodie dictated by the jacket manufacturer... so I'd not keep it in either... I have several bike jacket friendly hoodies I wear... top tip to avoid annoyance: Remove the hood drawstring on any hoodie you regularly wear on a motorcycle!
I have some great biking kit already, so not looking at new stuff currently... but I really really love my biking bomber jacket... yup, the one that scratched my Gixers paint... so I'd really love that jacket to be remade using a bike friendly zipper.

It does in a way, but I mean it is probably one of the more important protectors, do people not use them maybe?
Yeah it's nice that it's included sort of, and it is actually a nice comfy hoodie so in this situation it worked out, but I like being able to swap in whatever hoodie I'm wearing on that day really. Ohhhh that is a good trick!! I'll have to give it a go!
Haha you love it despite the fact it hurt you :P I wonder could you get one refitted?

2xl?!! That 's amazing. My jacket is 5xl to get the length (i'm 6ft 3ins). I had to buy the back protector separately, too, weird that they aren't included (maybe to set the price point lower for comparisons??). OC - probably 3 jackets - a Klim Badlands or Belstaff Trialmaster for crap weather, a good leather (just because), and a mesh jacket for the one day a year when it's real hot in the UK. Anyway, your jacket looks good, add dangly cords to the upside down pockets and change the name (marketeers have a lot to answer for!) and you're good to go..... Good review, cheers, Andy.

I was a bit shocked when I tried it on! Yep, My RST was 6XL for my shoulders and arms. Then the torso was loose as could be on me. Yeah maybe, they really should be included imo but hey I don't run a big fancy company! I love Klim stuff, great shout, very nice combo of jackets, you're smart :P
Haha I'll rebrand it as standard nice jacket no.1 :D

I was going to recommend the paracord for the zippers. I know that there are add-on zipper tabs for gloved applications but I feel like paracord is the infinitely more customizable solution.

The conceal carry pocket always makes me chuckle. Call me risk-adverse, but the last thing I want to worry about if I come off the bike is if I’m going to get impaled or shot by the loaded pistol in my jacket. 😂

Haha yeah that's very true, thankfully I've also never ever been in a situation where riding away really fast wouldn't be a smarter option :P But I've also never lived somewhere before that had so many guns!

Things that can only be purchased in the US but it looks cool and it seems to have a good set of protections...
Purchase price and taxes in customs would really put it to a stupid cost in terms of purchasing it. And I would purchase it for the cruiser bikery look ahahahahhahah xD
Yes, the back protector should be there, back in Portugal I bought one that had back protector even if it was L1.
I do not mind the name it is punk! And it looks good quality.
On the other hand I like the fact that you can use the hoodie as is having it as a functional hoddie. That is a really nice functionally and I really love when form follows function.
The reverse zip would be strange, the buttons also do not convice me that much. As I said looks cool.
Believe it or not I would really consider that jacket for myself!
