Thank you so much Fung Bros for teaching me how to order Dimsum in Mandarin. I took notes and I read them when ordering in legit Chinese Dimsum places in NYC. I noticed, the waiters understand me better and I get better service. They appreciate that I try to say it in their language. Xièxiè xiōngdìmen! 😊
I've watched enough Fung Bros Food to say this: If I go to a Chinese restaurant or Dim Sum, and someone dared me to eat the chicken feet, I would actually try it. Well done, Fung Bros.
I am so glad that you all showcase shrimp/seafood dishes. I'm pescatarian & was DROOLING over the shrimp/vegetable dumplings & that eggplant dish! YYUUMM!!!!! You guys always make me hungry! LOL!
Hello FB, thank you for bringing your viewers to this tea parlor. Used to be Cha Chan Theng. Meaning I think they close when is food is all sold and open early. Have never been in but know that it was. The plates look great and the menu makes it look made for order, is it? Instead of the cart or tray serving. Sidenote: Like the right wristwatch on Mr. Tang. Elle for baked bao
Dang where do you guys get the translation from? Because some of your Cantonese was so off to the point where I'm sure a server would not have understood you, especially the sticky rice part.
Just because they're ethnically Chinese doesn't mean they are better than white people at trying to speak mandarin. Especially if their parents don't really talk to them in mandarin on a daily basis.
I was born & grew up in Chinatown. I missed the neighborhood. Used to perform dances at Columbus Park during the ‘70’s. Love all dim sums including no mai gai. 😋
I live in San Diego and my other half and myself along with our extended family eat DimSum at least once every couple of months. It is actually one of my favorite meals. What I don't see on your table is the Chicken Feet or the Calimari, but I have eaten every one of those you do have on your table. But a word of advice to those watching this video and also reading the comments; Always go with a crowd of at least five or six because any less and the variety you get is constrained by how much you can eat. With a large group you can have a much larger variety to chose from, and there are many many different dishes. We have also eaten at the famous Dim Sum restaurant in the middle of the China-Town market in Honolulu. Great place to eat, but it is small and they serve a make-to-order meal, so it may take a little longer than those who have it all made ahead of time like some of the large DimSum restaurants in San Diego. Great video boys, it's made me hungry.
@Edward Limney | It is actually pretty good, and to cook it and season it correctly, you have to have money. So it isn't a poor food. And it is a huge tradition to eat it.
in cantonese (廣東話), 腸粉is a food that you can eat at dim sum restaurants and 粉腸is used to describe someone (practically a guy) who's a jerk or an asahole.
I been doing that noodle spin since 89', one handed. it makes grabbing a lot of noodles easier than picking up a group of noodles. that's a real pro move
I had to snicker a bit when Andrew tried to pronounce 糯米雞. I could understand it, but just barely, and only because of the visual aid. Have you guys considered an episode on the struggles of speaking your mother tongue? I think many non-Asia born Asians have the same struggles and I reckon your story would be quite relatable to many others.
@Why Not | My parents were born in Vietnam, but their parent's were from China, and they practiced Chinese religions and more. So, they basically lived a Chinese life, but rougher. So I consider myself a Chinese, but mor throughoutly, Asian.
Man watching this at 3 Am can't sleep , But bad idea. "Love the video haven't try this place yet , hopefully it's better than golden unicorn . Also David speaks good mandarin
I would like to know more about Wilson's rise. All the food looked amazing and I want to try it all. You kept mentioning a westerners pallet and their fear to try something new. First, I believe ones adventure for new foods has grown exponentially over the past years. So one should stop reminding people that they should be afraid of other cuisines. Enter a restaurant (or market stall) and ask them what they eat and order that. "Eat more. Eat better, and eat more better."
I used to work at Nom Wah in the 70’s on weekends with the Choi family it was wonderful glad to see their come back
Michael Federman that’s sooo amazing !!! I love that ❤️❤️⭐️⭐️

Oh yeah, going there this Sunday. Food looks clean and pure. Thanks for finding it. Just hope prices are fair.
Dim Sum's original egg roll is honestly the best ever.. Shouts out to Wilson Tang, you still owe me a Mets game.
Oh man, you guys made me so hungry! Late night dim sum run on a Wednesday night!
Felt like there could have been more in dessert section! Egg tart? Sesame mochi balls? Salted egg yolk bao?
I've watched enough Fung Bros Food to say this: If I go to a Chinese restaurant or Dim Sum, and someone dared me to eat the chicken feet, I would actually try it. Well done, Fung Bros.

ikr they always try to speak cantonese/mandarin and it's always way off
Just because they're ethnically Chinese doesn't mean they are better than white people at trying to speak mandarin. Especially if their parents don't really talk to them in mandarin on a daily basis.

This is my favorite go to dim sum restaurant in NYC!
I was born & grew up in Chinatown. I missed the neighborhood. Used to perform dances at Columbus Park during the ‘70’s. Love all dim sums including no mai gai. 😋

Whenever he says something in Chinese it's so cringy 😂😂
hai m8 為什麼?
coz the pronunciation is a bit off
Especially when he says the sticky rice in lotus leaf in Canto... SMH
So cringy!
Maybe the Fbros should start a video series where they go back to Chinese school and brush up their pronunciation.
