This musical quality, symphonic more than marching band like, is the enduring legacy of the expertise, brilliance, and vision of the late, great Dr. William P. Foster.........
does this give anyone chills or is it just me. every time i hear it feel like i never heard it before. just so peaceful along with other arrangements by them. UGH!!
I remember they played this at the palmetto classic one year. It was 2002. After 9/11. I was in the Navy and they gave us tickets to the game. This brought tears to my eyes then just like it's doing now. Praise God in all his goodness and mercy.
This right here is so nostalgic, whew God will forever reign in that band this day was different in heaven could just imagining the angels worshipping to this in the throne room 🥵🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️ #Godbless
This is so spiritually uplifting. I just can't stop listening to it. The arrangement, singing, and musicianship is top-notch, especially the part at 1:26. Simply awesome. I am so proud of the Marching 100. Thanks for posting!!!;-)
I remember downloading this off the 5th quarter or some band forum/message board years ago... top 3 band songs imo.. the singing!!! Icing on the cake!!!
I JUST HAD TO POST THIS EMAIL REPLY FROM A FELLOW MARCHING-100......Thank you for sharing this beautiful rendition of “We fall down, but we get up”. It struck a deep-rooted place in my heart that only the “Marching 100” can touch. It gave me the reassurance that the “100” will get back up again Hubba, Hubba Freddie L. Coming from a former marching wildcat, this is by far the best gospel arrangement ever made for a marching band . 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎶🎼🎵🎧
No choir... All Band! That's what happens when you are taught to sing your parts. Hubba 100!
I don't want to say it but I can't wait until this restores so SU can reclaim their rightful perpetual understudy position..........

Dammit, I cried lol
Low brass sound like beautiful, elegant string instruments in the beginning. Amazing.
@MICHELLEHILL17 Actually, at the very beginning, clarinets are playing too. No other instrument can sound that dark and rich in that register.
I'm all about BCU but I can't help listening to this repeatedly. Just well played.
"The doors of the CHUCH is open...." Am I the only one who would answer an alter call during halftime if they played this?
I would to with tears falling down my face .. Every time I hear them I start to cry.. They are so bless .. Famu 4 life .. Class of 2003 ..
Still get chills every time I hear this. So proud to have gone to FAMU and even more proud to have been a member of the 100!!
