Nether (non-spawner) blaze farm? I built a regular spawner blaze farm and frankly I’m just not impressed with the rates. There’s gotta be a better way. My world doesn’t have double spawners near the base.
Will this farm still work if the two falling platforms are adjacent? I'm not worried about efficiency, I just want it to be that way since I'm putting it in the corner of my base (32x32 chunk aligned, one is a slime chunk) and want both of the areas with the golems in the wall instead of one or both sticking out.
As of v1.18, follow his instructions at 13:43 for IRON golems, not snow golems. If you've already built this just swap them out. Rates are back to normal again and the farm runs great!
The slime spawning limit still is y=39. if you are at a simulation distance of 4 or in a realm, you should stop building platforms at y=6, but for simulation distances of 6 or higher, y=-58 is the limit.
*IMPORTANT* You do not need to switch the snow golems with iron golems as of 1.19.63 because they fixed the issue a while ago. So the farm works great as of 1.19.63
For anyone having the problem with snow golems not attracting the slime, the change is being reverted in the 18.10 update as of beta 1.18.22. For now, you can choose to replace them for iron golems or wait until the update is out (no release date has been given).
IMPORTANT the mid side slimes that break down to smaller slimes in the killing zone (the magma block) will glitch through the wall and will get to your bottom golem messing up the minecart and slowing down the rates of the farm significantly one fix is to place slabs on the top of the vizibility zone (note they NEED to be on top) as shown here: 12:44 all around the golem EXEPT the first 2 blocks right in front of the golem they need to be trapdoors so the golem doesn't shoot the slime slowing down the rates good luck
I don't know if its a glitch or it was in the game like this the glitch doesn't appear in the video so it might be a resent bug if anyone knows why this happens let me know
Me making this farm: "I've mined chunks before this won't be so bad" ... Eight hours later and I've discovered not only a massive double mine shaft that needs to be lit up but also a massive underground ravine. Well, time to spawn proof multiple chunks for another few hours... But all in all I am sitting at around 4,800 slime per hour and I could still spawn proof some more. I've built around four or five slime farm variations over the years and this one works well and looks good. I capped mine with a 24 x 24 slime statue made of stained glass and concrete, then implemented a soul sand elevator and hopper system to deliver the slime to a chest system next to the AFK spot as well so I don't have to go up and down too much. Thanks for an absolutely superb build.

Hey Silent, I noticed that you tested scaffolding and the upper half slabs separately, but together, they should actually make a big difference. The major flaw with the half slabs is not that slimes spawn less, but that the larger variants struggle to move around the platform. When you use the scaffolding trick here though, they will move a lot better which speeds the farm up dramatically.
@@johnmurcott1273 can't remember exactly but just start at the bottom of the world and build a platform on every 3rd block going up. Also probably depends on your sim distance because if it's at 4, you have to play by the tight constraints of where mobs can spawn and see how many spawn spaces you can squeak out that way
I had to build more than half of this farm surrounded by a massive water cave, which did add on a ton of extra work (and pain) but I am so glad that I decided to stick with it, and finish the farm. Thank you silent for this design!
@Yeager-cw6ek it wasn't officially out when I built it. I play on an xbox realm without the testing features. It still works now though, on the newest version.
Silentwisperer, you can use honey block at the end where the minecart with hopper collides, it will stop due to its sticky property and minecart with hopper is an entity hence it sticks to honey block, but also gets released when the powered rail below it gets powered after unloading.

Hope you post it to help players :D BTW when you will make updated "Stacked Raid Farm" and I hope that this time it is a lot better than the previous one and should produce a minimum of 10000 emeralds/hr ;)
They absolutely attack iron golems. However caveat, I play on realms mainly and have no idea what version my realm version is. Do realms auto update to newest version? No clue. For all I know its still 1.17
Thanks! A lot of ideas to get my slime farm better! Somehow, after upgrading to 1.17, snow golem disappears randomly, even in the plain biomes. And it is not just underground... I had a snow golem locked in place by fences at the top of a birch hill, fully lit with torches (so there cannot be any mob killing it), and it disappeared too! It doesn't happen very often, for me it is like once 6 hours of play on average, but that's really annoying to have to replace the golems every now and then. At the end I'm forced to use iron golems. Another thing is that one really have to prevent mobs from spawning around the farm, which can be a pain because they can spawn at so many places! In particular, I found that I need to fill the cave lakes, I suspect that axolotls are getting me although I'm not sure. Any lake you manage to find is better filled out, because there are probably many more that you can't find! By the way, it is probably better to use the end of the chunk for the unloader, rather than the start of the next chunk. That way the minecart doesn't have to move across chunk border, which does break at times.
you simply make the best tutorails, you cover all the little details, explain how things work. make it easy to understand. thank you for your dedication.
Using TNT with gunpowder gathered from a Silent-designed mob farm, dropped from a modified sweeper flying machine from his bamboo farm, so I can build this slime farm across 4 connected slime chunks. I’m not sure why I need so much slime, but that’s never stopped me before 🤷♂️
with the new 1,19 update, I added in the sculk catalyst next to the magma blocks, and is has converted the bottom layer into sculk. so now it is generating sensors/shriekers while farming slime! the only thing is IDK if mobs are able to spawn on top of sculk? If not, then it has basically disabled the bottom layer, but still worth it to me!
WORKING perfectly as of 1.19.80 Yet again another insane farm design from Silent. Producing so much slime in an efficient time! I would highly recommend. *RATES are insane and I haven’t even spawn proofed much 😂 I have added a ON/OFF lever to control both mine carts at the surface level above the farm. I have also added a item elevator to shoot items up to surface level.
This farm is absolutely great! i got OVER 6 STACKS of slime balls after FIVE MINUTES AFK! I didn't expect it to be this efficient considering how simple it is to build! thank you so much for the tutorial
Hey silentwisperer. This is a great tutorial, but I think there are a few optimizations that can take place thanks to some of the changes that have come from the updates since you made this video. For one, the idea of using upper slabs is actually a good idea. Just don't reduce the spacing from every forth to every third. By staying at every forth block, the large slimes are able to jump further than with solid blocks. I noticed that the large slimes hit their "heads" against the solid block floors. Also, now that the world depth has increased, you can have up to 14 fully spawnable floors (instead of 8) w/o messing with the floor spacing either. If you choose, you could build 4 additional spawn floors that are partly spawnable yeilding about 3 fully spawnable platforms (roughly 17 floors worth total) worth of spawnable locations. To take advantage of the new spawning area, I would recommend moving the idle location down to between Y=-28 and Y=1. This gives the build some options for determining what level they want to build at. In theory, this should double the rates of this farm with there being many more spawning locations. My main question is going to be if the farm would get close to the mob cap. I also wonder if it is possible to build this farm using spit density to really be able to produce an insane amount of slime. P.S. I did a quick test and the trench only needs to be 2 blocks deep to hold the slimes but having it a block deeper can help with rates due to fall damage but IDK if it'll have any segment outside of the despawn range. This is just something that needs to be checked on to make sure rates aren't negatively affected. Please let me know what you think.
I just made the first slime farm that is not the one chunk farm a few months ago and now there’s this. I even lined the whole entire thing with iron blocks over a period of many weeks. And now you make a better one after all that work.
Would making this in a swamp biome affect the spawn rate? Also starting to think making this next to my witch farm may have not been the best idea after all
Sweet, I've had a slime chunk mined out for probably at least a month just waiting for me to make a farm lol. This is so simple it shouldn't take any time at all!
Wow! Just as I finished making the one you've uploaded 2 years ago Is the old one significantly less effective than this one? I don't know if I want to change it to more resemble this one
I would say it’s not worth it, doing it in one would be sufficient. I’ve done double slime chunks but you have to make the AFK platform to be exact to get both.
Hey so I can’t find the exact center of the area even though it’s 16x16 can you help?? Seed: 364 Coordinates of chunk: -16 176, -16 160, -32 160, -32 176 Please help me!! If you respond could you give the coordinates for the exact center?
Go to any chunk border then go 8 blocks diagonally toward the inside of the chunk, then place a 9th diagonal block and turn the 8 and 9th diagonal blocks into a 2x2 square, boom, easy peasy no?
@@_JustAnotherKid__ I had tried that several times with even making adjustments to the chunk but no luck! Thanks for replying and helping out though! It’s greatly appreciated.
If you're having problems with the slimes spawning change your simulation distance to 4 chunks. I was getting no slimes spawning for some reason despite lighting up all the caves around me then as soon as I switched to 4 chunks simulation distance it started just printing slime balls. Idk it worked tho cuz simulation distance isn't supposed to affect spawning distances to my knowlefge
This is a great farm. Funny thing is, in the world I play, slimes spawn near and in my iron farm (because it's built underground), so I end up with too much slime because I have to kill them so they don't bug me while im collecting iron.
I did this 4 times and ended up digging all chunks to the sides of the chunk I need and did this with mostly stone pickaxes as could not be bothered going back and forward from villagers to get diamond pickaxes so now I'm making catus farms in those chunks as I'm not doing any more digging for at least a week
Built this knowing it would take longer than the most recent one he posted, but I’m worried the new one could get patched. Digging out the chunk took a while but building all 8 layers took an hour tops. Hooked up the storage system to a compactor and afked overnight. Woke up to 23 1/2 stacks of slime blocks. That’s roughly 13.5K slime balls. :)
Bro you could just make the new one and just use that for as long as u can If u just afk in the newest farm for like some hours your going to get a lifetime supply of the slime but anyways u already builtit
Recommend only building like 2 or three layers of the farm unless you what to be overwhelmed with slime. Lol! Or maybe ignore the advice to spawn proof the area. You’ll still get more then enough slime balls for a solo world.
Umm sir,no slimes are spawning and i built the pit in a slime chunk EDIT:nvm i found out why they weren't spawning, there were 3 mob spawners around the chunk,so they were taking up the mob cap
Hey Silent, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions about the farm, first of all, can I dig out until I reach Y=-20 or something to create more layers and upgrade the rates? and then if I build this farm using two slime chunks that are next to each other would it work anyway and with better rates? As always thank you for the dedication that you put into our community, u are a true life saver when it comes to farm in bedrock edition. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward for new farms.
Sure, you can, but honestly, it's not really worth it. And the rates of just 8 layers is more than 5k per hour. If you build it 2 slime chunks and till y level - 20 you have to change your simulation distance and afk spot
@@JUSTRAGHAV63 okkk thanks buddy, appreciate the help, I think im still gonna use 2 slime chunks but with the same numbers of layers as the one in the video so I hopefully don’t have to change the afk spot and simulation distance. Have a great day
I vastly underestimated both how long it would take to dig out a chunk and how much slime this farm would produce. For those of you planning on doing this without a Haste II beacon: Don't. It's hell even with one. But boy does it produce when it's done.
I was lucky that there was a giant cave where I started digging. But I just had to mob proof the cave by 50 blocks in each direction. I was done with digging in couple of hours.
I ran it for about 20 minutes and got 18 stacks meaning an hour should give around 54. Which is only around 3,500 which is still good and I only needed like 12 slime blocks for your bamboo farm :)
Finally I've built a version of it. Instead of 8 levels (or more, negative levels also have slime spawning), I've built only 3, with the kill platform at level 29. Why this high? Because I want the AFK "spot" to be a wide area at sea level, essentially my whole base. That means whatever I do at my base, be it building, lumbering or fishing, the slime farm is active, so I always have ample supply of slime, no need to remember to AFK for slime. In 1.18 everybody spawn near 0,0, and there are two adjacent slime chunks near it making up the rate reduction of having only 3 spawning levels partially.
so, I made this but 4 times the size. I found a spot with four slime chunks in a square. What I did is I made two snow golems on each side for every layer and it seems to be working just as well. I don't have the rates just yet though and I've only done three layers. I will come back with the rates when I finish it. I also need to figure out what the afk spot should be for this quadruple sized farm.
I'd say if you're building THIS you definitely not low on iron :) I build auto iron farm just near my base so I passed far away point when I think about "cost" of iron and more thinking about what to do with all that iron I already have.
Thanks for watchin! 😊 Hope you liked this farm, if you do, share around the video! The youtube gods are weird and need to be fed likes/shares etc lol. Using TNT with gunpowder gathered from a Silent-designed mob farm, dropped from a modified sweeper flying machine from his bamboo farm, so I can build this slime farm across 4 connected slime chunks.
I’m not sure why I need so much slime, but that’s never stopped me before 🤷♂️
This is exactly the farm I needed to build your tree farm. Thank You!
LOL, I made a tree farm so I could have trapdoors for a Creeper farm, so I could TNT my chunk with a Quarry.
@@baby_danigb4411 its a cycle of a farm to make a farm to make a farm... until you have a dog army
with the new 1,19 update, I added in the sculk catalyst next to the magma blocks, and is has converted the bottom layer into sculk. so now it is generating sensors/shriekers while farming slime! the only thing is IDK if mobs are able to spawn on top of sculk? If not, then it has basically disabled the bottom layer, but still worth it to me!
WORKING perfectly as of 1.19.80
Yet again another insane farm design from Silent. Producing so much slime in an efficient time! I would highly recommend.
*RATES are insane and I haven’t even spawn proofed much 😂
I have added a ON/OFF lever to control both mine carts at the surface level above the farm.
I have also added a item elevator to shoot items up to surface level.
Did you go down as much as in the video or did you go down even more?
I made the first 2 layers and nothing at all is spawning
@@elliottxd7936 make sure it is the correct y level and make sure it's actually a slime chunk
This farm is absolutely great! i got OVER 6 STACKS of slime balls after FIVE MINUTES AFK!
I didn't expect it to be this efficient considering how simple it is to build!
thank you so much for the tutorial
Nothing is spawning for me how many layers did you build before anything spawned?
@@elliottxd7936 I built total of 8 layers but it worked even with one layer you just have to be in the afk spot for them to spawn
@@elliottxd7936 same I can't work out anything I've done wrong
Ima try this thanks for the info dude.
Can i use iron golam plz answer
@Aditya Gond at this time, iron golem work. Snow golem don't work
I just made the first slime farm that is not the one chunk farm a few months ago and now there’s this. I even lined the whole entire thing with iron blocks over a period of many weeks. And now you make a better one after all that work.
Would making this in a swamp biome affect the spawn rate? Also starting to think making this next to my witch farm may have not been the best idea after all
Yes. They only spawn during a certain moon (I forget the moon) in a swamp biome. So it will only works a little but of time
@@bigdawgnate2953 full moon
Nice I'm glad I have a slime chunk next to my base
For future tutorials quartz isn’t an easy block to count, perhaps try smooth stone, iron blocks or even a checkerboard pattern
Quartz is so easy to count
@@oliverbowden1240yeah easier than most blocks
Sweet, I've had a slime chunk mined out for probably at least a month just waiting for me to make a farm lol. This is so simple it shouldn't take any time at all!
Wow! Just as I finished making the one you've uploaded 2 years ago
Is the old one significantly less effective than this one? I don't know if I want to change it to more resemble this one
best thing is that you spent alot of time to figure out the best possible farm for us, thanks alot silent!!
what if you wanted to build a slime farm in a 4 chunck slime chunks would you just repeat the farm 4 times or is it not worth it
I would say it’s not worth it, doing it in one would be sufficient. I’ve done double slime chunks but you have to make the AFK platform to be exact to get both.
It might not spawn the corners
Thank you for this farm I hope I never run out of slimes and can make any other farm or red stone build with them
I've heard that mobs won't spawn on the corner of a block anymore. Does this mean we should build slime platform 16x16 ?
keep it as is:) the large slimes still need room to the sides
@@silentwisperer does it increase the rate when I build more platform at the bottom
I'm still using your one chunk from years ago on both Bedrock and Java XD. Another awesome farm Silent, gg!
Hey so I can’t find the exact center of the area even though it’s 16x16 can you help??
Seed: 364
Coordinates of chunk: -16 176, -16 160, -32 160, -32 176
Please help me!!
Spawning distance is like the main thing that sim distance effects.
I needed 2 sticky pistons and didn’t have any slime so I built this 😅
Will definitely be building this later, keep up these awesome tutorials
Hey silent I just want to ask does this work on 4 slime chunks next to each other in a square shape and will it increase the rates or decrease.
Obviously not, how would you fit the snow golems in?
I like how you explain whole mechanics first
does this still work after the 1.21 update with the mob spawning changes
yes:)
works as advertised, took all evening to build in survival but worth it! thanks so much ❤
Can you cap the giant hole above the farm? Or put a structure maybe on top of it?
yesss, you can
Thanks for the amazing farm design even after 2 years this still makes way more slime that I'll ever need
I only needed 1 slime ball but this'll work
This is a great farm. Funny thing is, in the world I play, slimes spawn near and in my iron farm (because it's built underground), so I end up with too much slime because I have to kill them so they don't bug me while im collecting iron.
I dug the hole in the wrong chunk.....
Nooooo!
Rip
Bruh
You can use a texture pack
I did this 4 times and ended up digging all chunks to the sides of the chunk I need and did this with mostly stone pickaxes as could not be bothered going back and forward from villagers to get diamond pickaxes so now I'm making catus farms in those chunks as I'm not doing any more digging for at least a week
Lol, like the old style isn’t already an absolute beast. Love it!
I have build many farms from you and need more slime for my tree farm, so I will build this slime farm
Do we change anything for 1.18?
nope, its all still the same:)
:)
This is perfect cause I was looking at slime farms yesterday
Does it have to be at y lev 11
Built this knowing it would take longer than the most recent one he posted, but I’m worried the new one could get patched. Digging out the chunk took a while but building all 8 layers took an hour tops. Hooked up the storage system to a compactor and afked overnight. Woke up to 23 1/2 stacks of slime blocks. That’s roughly 13.5K slime balls. :)
Bro you could just make the new one and just use that for as long as u can
If u just afk in the newest farm for like some hours your going to get a lifetime supply of the slime but anyways u already builtit
Cave and cliff friendly? (-70 bedrock)
Yeah I did it just more spawnproofing
W farm just got done building it and still works to this day
Why isn’t slimes spawning it is in a slime chunk
Is the farm still working in the latest version of Bedrock? and do you know if the chunkbase site still works?
Yes the site still works
Took me a couple days to mine that hole out even using TNT and a diamond pickaxe with efficiency V, but the deed is done! SO MUCH SLIME!
New bedrock farm, wither skeleton farm
Recommend only building like 2 or three layers of the farm unless you what to be overwhelmed with slime. Lol! Or maybe ignore the advice to spawn proof the area. You’ll still get more then enough slime balls for a solo world.
what were your rates? mining the chunk rn so if u can say would be appreciated ty
Ima make this but with 4 slime chunks right next to each other
I might have a problem 🙃
Wow, honestly I dont know could powered a rail like that. Got already mine out slime chunk, time to build proper slime farm. Thx for this!👍
Umm sir,no slimes are spawning and i built the pit in a slime chunk
EDIT:nvm i found out why they weren't spawning, there were 3 mob spawners around the chunk,so they were taking up the mob cap
Does this work in 1.19?
yes:)
@silentwisperer thanks for replying so hastily and answering my question!
You should totally do an updated slime farm using the crafter and mob spawning changes in 1.21. Great video!
Great tutorials. Lots of good info!
Awesome farm! You are the best! I have built so many of ur farms, they are just that good! You are just fun to watch as well. Stay GREAT brother!
Just built this, took me the Better part of two days but I do have more slimeballs than I will probably ever need
IMMEDIATELY uploaded after I finished the last slime build. Unbelievable 🤣
Exactly what i needed bc i was right about to build your previous slime farm!😊
does it work ps4
Can make a video abt upgrading it cuz I tried to add the scaffolding and the water but the light level is not the same so what should I do?
Have a great day
I got over 40 slimeblocks while digging the hole and now I don‘t even need the farm. But I still build it
Really just started finishing a double slime farm on my new survival
Thanks man you’re awesome
Damn man, nice farm. ❤️
With the *add ons* you can get now on bedrock the utility mod with the multiblock pickaxe really helps mining out the area =)
perfect lmao, i've had a 32x32 hole for 4 adjacent slime chunks, might as well turn it into a farm now
I ran it for about 20 minutes and got 18 stacks meaning an hour should give around 54.
Still works and works great even if the snow golems get killed. But snow golems make it much faster.
the snow golems shouldn't be able to die. maybe if you got a skeleton down there or something tho
20:50 how did you zoom in say us also the mod which you use
Fun fact get resources from spawn platform when you are mining the chunk
‘But cemetery darn it’ got me
Great vid tho fr
so, I made this but 4 times the size.
Thank you silentwisperer, i always build your farms in my survival.. i need an efficient mob farm for (bedrock) xbox one.
He already has one.
Puuuu after 6 hours I'm done. 😅🤣. But the farm works very well. Great tutorial👍
I'd say if you're building THIS you definitely not low on iron :) I build auto iron farm just near my base so I passed far away point when I think about "cost" of iron and more thinking about what to do with all that iron I already have.
I built this in a triple slime chunk, made a few adjustments it’s OP
Gonna build this, good thing I just finished building your rail ghast farm. Infinite TNT.
