I wished I can find someone who will love, care and treat me well like Kif is to Amy. I heard a lot of people say it’s stupid that they can’t get involved to save the kids from wildlife like they did 20 years ago when the kids were born. I say there’s a certain realistic symmetry or symbolism to it. The parents are responsible for their birth and development, but they have to show they can survive on their own to complete the process. It’s beautiful and terrible, just like parenting.
You know, the shock value of killing a bunch of characters kind of loses the oomph when Futurama has been doing it longer than I think I’ve been alive. Even the Zoidberg eating one gag.

It is the largest known predator of its time, at 4.5 metres long. The jaw can crush anything. Especially Kif’s children. The facial armour plating can grow to be 5 centimetres thick. For Dunkleosteus’ table manners, it throws up any indigestible elements of the prey item it catches. Just because it throws up, doesn’t mean it’s sick. Cannibalism is very common in the species, which is common in creatures that take this to good use. What if that fish IS Dunkleosteus? Maybe? No?
I don't know you, but i feel this episode faster than the first one. I think they needed time for get a good rhythm but is nice that this episode was a recall anyways.
Everyone is surprised about the winowing scene (I was at first too) but futurama has never shied away from the more gruisem parts of nature (remember last seasons nature documentary episode and how many of the characters were killed or eaten then, or the multiple epsides where they fed cute fuzzy animals to big scary predators because of over population). Kiff is a amphibian/bug based alien that has a humanoid stage in life (He will later age into a swarm of inescts), those animals both have hundreds of offspring. But in the animal kingdom the higher count of litters/hatchmates the lower the count for ones that will grow up. the ones that lived to make it to the shore with their parents are the ones that will be fast/strong enough to live life outside of the water; and with all the crazy and hellish adventures their families get mixed up on (Hubert and Dewight sometimes too) thse kids will need to be fast/strong.
That was a pretty funny and clever way to avoid creating over 30 new characters
