- In this fifth Tripreport video of our "Journey to Tromsø" series we show you what our Arrival at Tromsø Airport was like. The airport was undergoing construction and therefore we arrived at what looked like a temporary Tromso Airport Arrival Terminal. In this video we will show you our Arrival Procedure at Tromso Airport (TOS). This Tromsø Airport Arrival video was made in November 2021. At that time face mask restrictions had been removed from Airports in Norway. Tromsø Airport was also under construction at the time of our arrival. Once construction of what looks like it may be a new Tromsø Airport Arrival Terminal is completed, the Arrival Process at Tromso Airport may be different to the one in this video.
Wiki writes about Tromsø Airport, "Tromsø Airport, Langnes is an international airport located at Langnes in the city of Tromsø in Tromsø Municipality, Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Situated on the western shore of the island of Tromsøya, it features a 2,447-meter runway aligned 01/19."

Nice video as always. I think going through passport control at Longyearbyen is necessary because it is not entirely a domestic destination. More nationalities can live there as long as they like.

There is a difference between your flight and mine yesterday from Windhoek to Cape Town. I didn't count but there could have been three other in the terminal (LOL) and further we had the heat the whole way - middle 30's. Nice to be again back behind the "Wine Curtain".

A little different to my departure and arrival recently to UK and from Doha. The terminal was extremely busy on both occasions.
We can imagine that, both airports are both busy hubs which are daily becoming busier as more and more routes are re-opened! Hope you had a wonderful time with family in the UK! :-D

Awesome video my friend. I m planning to visit Tromso this November. Do you know how often the buses to the city center leave? Do you remember how much it costs and if you have to pay in NOK? Can you pay by card? Are euros accepted? Thanks in advance.

You may recall how sick Maro and I (Maxi) were in December/January in Malaysia 2019 - according to an antibody test taken long after, it was corona (could only have been). From plane to Terminal by walking?
When people get off the plane onto the tarmac especially if your traveling to Hawaii, they expect someone to greet you with a lei!! The airports in Hawaii almost all of them now have gates and air bridges like the airports here in the Continental U.S., the Lower 48 or the Mainland.

Do we need PCR test to enter Norway?. I have checked some websites, some says we need PCR test to enter and some says all covid restrictions have been removed. Which is true ?
