Really like this as a useful, non-threatening edc. Hoping there's a wood grain option without the black stone wash in the future. Thanks for the review.

What's the oil you put on detent ball Rob? And why a different oil than on bearings?

I'm not rob, obviously, but the difference is oil that you'd use on the detent is a thicker oil. it'll last longer on the surface. Its just for a smoother action.

Good answer. I prefer Nano-Oil and use 10-weight (like KPL Regular) on the caged bearings and 85-weight (like KPL Heavy) on the detent ball and detent track.

My grandpa called it a "spading blade" because he put the tip of his finger up on the slant at the tip to keep from cutting to deep when a hog would move around while he was neutering it.

It is called a "spay" point so that makes sense. Thanks for sharing that info that will one day be gone if we don't!

Way to expensive for a 2 inch blade 😮

What do you mean? It's almost 3" and the price is normal for Nitro-V. This is a budget knife normally priced. Could be 5$ cheaper? Perhaps. Still a good deal and great knife.

Too expensive? nah, man. I agree with the other comment about maybe $5 cheaper would be better but nitro v at almost 3''', nice texture on the g10, and the extra pick and tweezers that are actually decent is a good deal. It's a solid knife.

I do have to agree. It is Nitro-V, uniquely cedar textured G10, and has 2 extra tools. For all that under $100 is great… for that at $62.95 at WMK where you can use RNK10 to get 10% off for $56.65 is a great deal. I’d be hard pressed to find such a good with all of that. whitemountainknives.com/civivi-sendy-folding-knife-black-g10-handle-nitro-v-spey-point-plain-edge-black-stonewash-finish-c21004b-2/
