    Hey CP,
    Yesterday I installed both the HealTech ESE and GPR slip on. Holy crap!! What a beautiful sound.
    Thanks again for the video upload and emails. I did this mod purely because I stumbled across your original RUclips vid. Well done good sir!
    PS- I traveled trough San Diego many yrs ago with my g/f. One of my favorite US cities. Laid back attitude, scenic, and great surf.
    Cheers from OZ.

      Scott Dempsey Awesome! It's so cool that I could be of such help through a small RUclips channel and some emails. I'm glad all went well and I do agree about San Diego. As a motorcyclist there really aren't to many better places. You can't beat the year round Riding. Email me your address if your interested in a CPRides decal. I'll ship it for free. Enjoy that exhaust and Keep the rubber side down.

    Hi, I'm Rüdi, come from Germany and also have the GPR muffler at my Caponord and Tuono. The exhaust flap with trains I have simply expanded, the servomotor left however. Otherwise you do not need to install anything. I have from Aprilia still the resonator (ex factory), thereby one gets a better Dehmomentverlauf and the small hole between 4000 and 6000 revolutions is gone. I have installed all 2 DB killer, as prescribed in Europe. With the GPR, the Capo is slightly louder, but in sound more beautiful than the original sound. I have however still another air filter of DNA built, so the sound also changes, is then very beautiful.
    I have also made some modifications, for example: Smaller pinion, license plate etc. etc
Ansonsten muss man nichts zusätzlich montieren.

    Absolutely sensational!!!
    My iPad was vibrating with those new pipes!
    I'll definitely look at throwing an after mkt slip-on.
    Should I be weary of changes to default ecu settings/ fuel mapping etc...? Or will it take care of itself?
    Cheers mate.

      Scott Dempsey as long as you do just the slip on you don't have to worry. If you do a full exhaust and eliminate the catalytic converter then you'll need a new fuel map.

      With just the slip on arnt you guys getting a check light on the dash?

    Lads please excuse my complete lack of technical knowledge....What do you need the Healtech ESE for???? and where does it go?? Cheers

    • @wheelsdeal
      @wheelsdeal 7 лет назад +2

      Most modern motorcycles has a valve on the exhaust headers which operates with a servo and it basically restricts the flow on the low rpm so that the bike passes regulations.When you remove this so that it flows open you get an error on the dashboard.The Healtech ESE is a small device that you plug into where the servo was so that it cheats the ECU that the servo is there so you get no error.

      i have swapped out the exhaust and have no error's on dash.Should i still fit the Healtech ESE??

      The valve is in the headers

    Hi CP. I have a 2015 White TP. I did the ESE mod with Factory exhaust. is the GPR much louder than that while cruising ? Also on your ride portion of the video do you have the DB Killer in or out ? Thanks a lot. Good sound quality

    • @ReignsRides
      @ReignsRides  7 лет назад

      +Jim Colonel-Bertrand its much loader going up the rev range but once your at a steady speed it's louder than the stock with ESE but not to that point of being too loud or droning on all the time but once you crack the throttle open it's a war machine. In the video the DB killer was out. Also the panniers will still fit but I did notice with the angle the exhaust is at it may start to burn the bottom a bit I guess I'll find out next time I use them

      CPRides .Thanks a lot for the quick answer. I just went mad and ordered one off Amazon. i guess we can install some heat shield on the bottom of the pannier. only sad part is that my bike is still in winter storage for another 2 months as i live up in Canada, so i will have to wait to enjoy that sweet music 😀

      +Jim Colonel-Bertrand no problem thanks for checking out the video yea I was thinking a little bit of black exhaust tape would do the trick

    Nice,i have the GPR with baffle out,DNA stage 2 air filter,healtech ese and cat removed and dam did it waken up the bike! feels more like a 1200 vtwin should now

      +fatdrood What did you use for the cat eliminator as a link pipe/did you have it tuned or were you able to get a piggyback unit like a power commander. I wanna know lol 😂 I would love to do the same things.

      I just hacked the inside of it out,was a bloody mission,be warned once you start there's no turning back! Havent been able to find a decent tuning unit for them,looking at getting a rexxer map from the importer here in NZ,he reckons they can get a custom map sorted

    How you finding that standard screen? Just got a caponard and cant cope with the noise from the screen. I have a givvi I'll try install and see if it's any better. I'm 6ft and if I duck or stand 3 inch it's better.

    Do you recommend the heal tech servo eliminator if I want to equip my bike with GPR exhaust? What I'm saying: is it required?

    • @ReignsRides
      @ReignsRides  4 года назад

      Yes or you will have a constant warning light as the servo will not be functioning properly

  • @paragoncafe
    @paragoncafe 7 лет назад

    Hi again. just looking at the links you've listed to the GPR slip on and servo eliminator...
    The GPR on Amazon states suitable for Capo 1200, 2013-2014.
    But the Heal Tech Electronics Exhaust Servo Eliminator states suitable for 2014-2016 models....
    I have a 2013 Capo 1200 model and was of the understanding that the models from 2013-2015 were identical... Do you know if this is correct?
    Therefore, would you think the AF1 Racing Servo link would be OK for my 2013 Capo?
    Many Thanks,
    Scott

      @ReignsRides  7 лет назад

      Scott Dempsey as far as I know your correct they are all the same. I have a 2015 and the exhaust fit perfect 👌 as for the healtech I assume the ECU didn't change on any model except the Rally. All it does is plug in to where the servo motor was connected. If you do purchase and need an install guide I am making one I took pics along the way send me an email at cprides7712@gmail.com

      Scott Dempsey also to note you have to have the healtech if you don't want any warning lights

    Hi. I’m from Malaysia and have a 2013 Capo 1200 model and apologies my complete lack of technical knowledge to install ESE. What I should do if warning light (EFI) has been light up with standard Aprilia exhaust..? cause I'm planning to change SC Project exhaust slip-on. Can I just apply the ESE and then the warning light (EFI) will be light off automatically..? or do I have to clear up the warning light using PADS before apply the ESE..?

    • @ReignsRides
      @ReignsRides  7 лет назад

      Alim JOhari I would get your bike checks out first to ensure there isn't a problem with your fuel injection since that's the error light your getting

    Another question : Do the panniers fit with that can ? Thanks

    • @wmd9085
      @wmd9085 7 лет назад

      The suitcases fit better than with the original exhaust.
      Nothing needs to be done

    • @ReignsRides
      @ReignsRides  7 лет назад +1

      +WMD be warned I noticed my case was burning from the angle of the new exhaust. I would get some black heat tape to protect it

    • @wmd9085
      @wmd9085 7 лет назад

      I put a heat mat on the case
      But you can also mount the GPR so that it is far away from the case

  • @erreew6221

    Can you install the GPR exhaust without the ECU?

    • @ReignsRides
      @ReignsRides  7 лет назад

      +Scott Bergley you can but when you do it it will eliminate the exhaust valve so you will have a constant efi warning light. The pirellis I got 6k out of on my multistrada 1000 but really the lifespan will very on how you ride along with little things like checking the tire pressure often and how much time you spend with the bike going straight. The Tires your friend recommended I've never heard of but we're talking about the main thing that keeps you alive on the road. The pirellis are designed for heavy bikes like ours and are a proven well known brand.

    • @wmd9085
      @wmd9085 7 лет назад +1

      I installed the GPR without ECU, running 100%.
      Just unhitch the cables on the servomotor and you're done.
      Nor will it be a warning lamp
