    For anyone who doesn't know, Riot announced a lot of changes to pro League for next year, one of them being the merge of all American regions into one like Valorant does

      @jvgirotti 8 дней назад +151

      There will actually be two regions: the North (LCS and former LAN teams) and the South (CBLOL and former LAS teams). Next year, there will be a total of three splits and three international events. Together, these two regions will feature 16 teams in total. The champions of the first split will face off in a match after both regions' finals for a new Riot international event, which will debut next year. This event is expected to involve five teams-presumably one from each of the regions eligible for international competition. For MSI, both regional champions will qualify for the event. As for Worlds, no details have been confirmed yet, but it seems like there will be three teams: the champions will qualify directly, while the runner-ups will compete for the final seed. That's all the information Riot has released so far regarding these changes. (yes, chatgpt so people don't misinterpret stuff and start spreading misinformation)

    The LCS is not going away completely. This was how it was described earlier in the year this might be different now. How it will work is there are two conferences, one in the north and one in the south. The north conference will have 6 LCS teams, 1 LCS (Promotional from Academy) and 1 LLA team. In the south conference it will mirror but with CBLOL instead. The first two splits (Winter and Spring) the two conferences won't fight each other. For MSI, Americas will get 2 representatives one from each conference meaning basically NA will only send one team. For Worlds that is where it gets interesting, basically the final teams (maybe top 4) for each conference will go into a Americas championship. Each conference will get at least one team at worlds. The 3rd America's team will be either NA or Brazil.

    Yeah, I miss Bjergsen and stopped following LCS when he did, just didn't enjoy it, but I totally respect why he left. I only started watching again this year because of the co-stream with DL, Sneaky and Meteos. Really cool to see Pobelter join, and any others that join as well! Peak entertainment. Shame that Sneaky didn't go to this event, though. But, he has his reasons. Respect to them all. Mad, mad respect.

    This was great! Just wish they had integrated all the pros past and present a little better instead of the usual rolling them out to stand awkwardly on stage. Also you have RIV, Flowers, and Phreak and yet they just have to ram Rafa down our throats doing a ridiculous Flowers impersonation since his normal voice is that of an 8-year old girl. Nevertheless, hearing the strains of "Warrriors" and having such a raucous crowd for what turned out to be a wild Finals, made it great.
